"Oy, Lice!" 

Alice Longbottom despised that name. Only someone as stupid as James Potter could say something so despise-able like that. 

Alice turned to see James hurrying past everyone to catch up to Alice. "Well if it isn't Lice." 

"Stop calling me that." 

"Why?" James said cunningly. 

"Yeah well, it happens," Frank Longbottom — right behind James — said, grinning at his twin sister. "Isn't James great at keeping nicknames, Lice?"  

"No, he's terrible at giving nicknames," Alice said, "Why do you have a problem?" 

James and Frank snickered.  

"Oh damn it, you both!!" Katie Wood's stubborn voice broke out. "Do you have to do that to Alice?" 

"I have to tell you, Kat—" Katie shot Frank a look —"Katie, your parents would definitely be proud of you," Frank corrected. 

"Thank you, Frank, how friendly of you to say," Katie said in a falsely sweet voice. "You're too kind." 

Now Alice snickered. 

As Frank and James started to say something, a group of people hurried into the hallway. 

"Oh look it's Dom!" Katie said loudly. "Hi, Dom!"  

Dominique Weasley hurried to catch up to them. "James — Frank, I-I didn't expect you here," Dominique said as she saw James and Frank. 

James and Frank shrugged. "Eh — oh look!" James and Frank waved energetically as they saw someone and hurried off. 

"Why do you hate James so much?" Katie asked Alice. 

"He's an arrogant toe-rag." 

Katie crossed her hands and gave Alice her oh really? look. 

"Yes," Alice said, knowing that look. "He is! You hate my brother, Katie, more than James, and Frank deserves that! He was decent before stupid James Potter — no offense Dom — took his decency away!" 

"I don't think he was ever decent," Katie muttered. 

Alice and Dominique tittered. "Ha!" 

"Oh come on, it's lunchtime," Dominique said, looking at her watch. 

"Finally," Katie said as her stomach grumbled. "I've been waiting forever." 

"Mhm," Alice said. 

"Alice," said Dominique, looking at the snow falling down. "Isn't Professor Longbottom back at the greenhouse?" 

"Yes, I wonder what Dad's doing there," Alice said as she looked at the light in the greenhouse.

"What else?" Katie grumbled. "He's probably doing something for herbology." 

"Yeah, I think so too," Dominique said. "Katie looks like she's going to burst now." 

"Hangry," Alice said as she chuckled. 

"Yes, Alice and Dom, I'm going to become hungry and furious!" Katie outburst. 

Dominique and Alice giggled as they all hurried to go to the great hall with a sore Katie behind them. 

"KATIE!" shouted a voice. "KATIEEEEE!" 

Katie, Alice, and Dominique turned around to see someone hurrying down to them. 

"Katie," groaned Albus Severus Potter. "Have you seen Scorpius?" 

"Why would I have seen Scorpius?" Katie asked as she turned red. 

"Everyone knows you like him —" Albus started. 

"No, she likes Frank," Dominique said, giggling and raising her eyebrows at Katie, who was now red as a tomato. 

"Who cares? Can you tell me where Scorpius is?!" Albus burst. "Please!" 

"I don't know!" 

"Fine! If Fred comes this way, send him to Frank and James, alright?" Albus said. 

"Is Fred chasing you?" Alice said, maintaining her laugh. "Why would he be doing that, Albus?" 

"I suspect James told him to come to follow me, that git," muttered Albus. "Anyway, see you later!" 

"Hi!" the energetic voice of Rose Granger Weasley as Alice, Dominique, and Katie tried to go to the Great Hall this time. 

"Hi Rose," they all said as they smiled. 

"What've you been up to?" Lily Luna Potter asked as she appeared next to Rose. 

"Studying," Katie said, her stomach rumbling. 

"What is she —" Lily Luna and Rose started. 

"She's hungry," Alice said as she and Dominique looked at Katie.

"I'm seriously done. I'll see you two later," Katie said as she tried to hurry to the Great Hall. 

"Well, see you later," Alice said. "Come on, Dom, before she gets into trouble."

"You're just going to make it worst!" Dominique said as Katie stuffed herself. 

"I'm hungry!" 

"So?"  

"I'm hungry!" repeated Katie with a mouthful of food. "Can't you see that, Dominique?" 

Dominique sighed. "Al, help me here." 

That minute, Alice's head jerked forward and fell into the bowl of pudding. 

"Alice!" Dominique yelped as Alice took out her face from the pudding bowl and Katie handed her a napkin. 

"Who — did — this?" Alice asked in a deathly voice. 

All of the girls turned in every direction until Dominique spotted Frank and James from farther down the table. 

"It's them," she said to Alice. "Well, more Frank. Beat him up." 

"Those —" Alice stood up, wiping her face. 

"No — Alice, I'm telling you, that's so —" Dominique started but Alice had already marched to them both.
