It's been a year and a half since we've been on the island, Eunoia. A year and a half since I've seen Hiccup...

It was only 6 months ago, when I had to have my first birthday without him. Let's just say it didn't feel like a birthday without him.

That night before, I was sitting in the Banquet Hall. It was just like the Great Hall back at home, but it didn't have the huge circle table and fireplace in it. There was still the circle table but it was all a big table and nothing in the middle. One big circle table.

There was two candles on the cake, and I sat criss crossed in front of it, waiting for the clock to hit the next day. The bell rang and it took me a minute to blow mine out. I watched the candle, Hiccup was supposed to blow out and I sighed loudly. I blew his out, and ate the cake by myself.

I did wish for something that night.

"I wish to go back home"

I was just waltzing around the island with my little brother, Adonis- who was quite the little adventurer too. We got it from our mom- Dakota, she loved exploring places. But then we had our dad, who liked to cause a bit of trouble back when we lived on Berk and now on Eunoia.

When he was younger, he was doing fighting dragon training and thought it would be fun to try and ride one. Not the smartest decision since he caught his butt on fire and fell on the cobblestone hard. Surprisingly no teeth falling out or chipped, just a broken arm.

"So... What are we doing again?" Adonis asks, sitting on a tree branch as I stood on the ground looking out on alert.

"We're looking for a dragon, and we're going to try to train it" I say not keeping my eyes off the premise, also showing him the huge sack of fish on my back.

"You've been trying to do this for like a year now! And you think this is a good idea because..." She rolls her eyes at the blonde boy.

"Because... I almost did it back at Berk"

"Wait- what?" I smirked as he pulled off a shocked, confused expression.

"Yep, I did it a week before we left for Eunoia." He scratched his head, before his eyes widened in realization.

"Is that why the monstrous nightmare escaped that one night?! And that scar-"

"Yes sir, but he didn't mean to hurt me because just before he broke out I was petting him..." Adonis suddenly stepped in front of me, stopping me from walking more.

"So you're telling me you got to touch a dragon and you were by yourself?!"

"No I wasn't alone- I had Hiccup" I said as a matter of fact, walking past him. He gave me a deadpan expression, and laughed.

"Let me guess he was protecting himself behind a barrel, ten feet away from you and the dragon" I laughed and nodded, smiling at the memory.

I hope he's keeping that promise.

"You guys were always together, did you like him?" He didn't see but my face turned a crimson red. I quickly turned around shoving the heavy sack of fish in his arms, which he clumsily caught- almost falling backwards with a yelp.

"Come on, we don't have time to waste" We start walking towards this hidden small cove, but then I stopped. He obviously wasn't paying attention and walked into my back, making him stumble a bit.

"What are-" I clamped his mouth shut with my hand, and his eyes furrowed.

"Look!" His eyes followed mine, and his eyes widened. There was a huge white stormcutter and a night fury. He grabbed my arm, stopping me from going closer and I looked at him questioningly.

"What are you doing?! Are you not seeing what I'm seeing- I'm seeing a night fury, also known as- 'unholy offspring of lightning and death itself'! AND A STORMCUTTER!" I roll my eyes.

"Doni, I'm just getting a bit closer and I honestly don't think that's a stormcutter-" As Adonis took a step closer to me, he tripped on a rock and fell forward-

Crashing into me, making me tumble down towards the cove. Our bodies collided as we tumble down a bunch of bushes and rocks, and then roll into the small cove.

"AUGH! I'm going to murder you!" I scowl at him, and he coughs as he comes up from the water. We get out of the water, soaking wet from top to bottom and Adonis was still holding the sack of fish tightly.

"Look! Now I'm gonna come home with bruises and-"

"Nuri..." He whispers, his eyes wide in terror, looking at something behind me. He clutches the sack, and my eyes widen, slowly turning around. I came face to face with the female night fury and I let out a high pitched scream.

"AH!" Both of us scream and crash into each other. We fall on our butts beside one another and groan. Adonis looks up and starts screaming more as suddenly a huge four winged nightlight fury comes besides the night fury.

"NOOR!" He screeches as we held on to the others hand tightly in fear as the dragons heads come inches apart from our's.

Noor quickly stood up and took a deep breath, holding her hand out. "I'm sorry Adonis, if this doesn't work!"

"I don't want to die knowing I have lied to you- so Noor! I used your toothbrush last week because I forgot mine at Berk and before I could have told you, you were already using it!" He said all in one breath, before we both realized nothing was happening. We squinted our eyes open to see the night fury shoving its face into the sack, that was on Harbeer's legs.

And I smiled feeling the other dragons snout pressed on my palm. Adonis scrambled away from the dragons and let the night fury destroy the sack. The nightlight dragon looked over at the sack and joined the night fury to eat the fish.

"Wait- what did you say?" Noor asks in confusion and anger. Adonis's eyes widen and slightly coughs before getting up and brushing off the slobber.

"On um nothing- just that- you know never mind!" He says quickly as he walks over to the dragons in 'fascination'. I furrowed my eye brows, and got up doing the same.

The dragons suddenly stopped eating and looked at the two, curiously looking over the humans. The male sniffed on Adonis, as he stood and let him, to dazed to stop the dragon. The female walked over to me, and copied my movements. We walked in a circle around each other, both kept curiously staring at each other. Then, the unexpected happened. The female dragon stalked closer to me, and dipped her head. The dragon nudged its head on Noor's hand, and I smiled. I started petting the night fury, and heard Adonis laugh as I looked behind me. I saw that he was already giving the boy stormcutter a belly rub.

"She's definitely a night fury but what kind is he?" I ask, as me and Adonis sat on a rock watching as the female night fury looked like it scowled at the stormcutter, hitting the stormcutter with her paw over and over.

"Look! Adonis, it's mother and son!"

"How do you know that?" Adonis asks, as I point towards the dragons.

"Usually sons of dragons have the same exact tail shape as their mothers!"

"That doesn't seem right" Adonis says quirking an eyebrow, and I roll my eyes.

"Well it's only really true for night furies and because he looks exactly like one and she's one, it only makes sense!" I say, in astonishment looking at the two dragons.

"But he's almost as big as a stormcutter, and he has four wings! So that must mean..."

"He's half night fury and half stormcutter!" I exclaim in happiness, shaming Adonis's shoulders.

"I don't know but he's definitely not a full night fury because of the spots- just some black spots over the white. And he's so much bigger than any normal Fury"

"He's definitely a rare- well most furies are rare but ones with spots are like... almost completely extinct, especially another half of species for dragons. I read this dragon book, that had a bunch of types of furies but none with spots. The ones that are both Night and Light furies have a clear fade between the two shades, but clearly said no spots- just fade" I sighed, rubbing my eyes and chuckle.

"So it only makes sense he's half a stormcutter then..." Adonis whispers, scratching his head in wonder and realization.

"See!! I told you!"

Then, that's when it started. I trained the half night fury and half stormcutter and showed all of Eunoia. Some people hated the idea and some loved it.

Since my dad became the chief ever since my grandfather died almost a year ago, and my grandmother retired from the duties. He loved it, so then I became in charge of training people and dragons.

"Nightflare! Are you ready boy?" I shouted, running up off a cliff. I sprint to the very edge and smirk.

Then, I don't even hesitate and jump off the cliff. But of course, my hands hook to Nightflare's saddle.

"WAHOO!!" I yell as Nightflare flies up in the sky, and soon he becomes steady and glides on the wind.

"Oh I love you so much!" I cheer, kissing the top of his head making him let out a friendly growl.

Times like this- I feel on top of the world. I close my eyes and spread my arms out, letting the wind blow through my long hair.

"We've been trying that for so long! We did it! Yes- yessss!!!" I see as a couple of tall islands come into view, and I smirk.

"You ready boy?" Nightflare let out a roar, and started to flap his big wings and dived down fast.

"YEAH BABY! WAHOO!"

That's when I became known as Lady of Dragons.
