Meera's POV.....

"Good morning wifey " as I opened my eyes I saw the brown eyes and heard a morning husky voice.
It was Arjun's.
I gulped as I saw him looking at me with some emotion in his eyes which was hard to detect.
I didn't reply him just keep looking at him for few seconds. But then I tried to move away but I can't.
Then I noticed our position.
His hand were on my waist and my head on his chest our legs were tangled.
In short I was sleeping over him and and he was holding me like a pillow.

I tried to move instantly but he only tighten his grip. I started sweating and my breath became heavy. I looked up for a second and saw him smriking while looking at me.

Is he enjoying this??

I desperately wanted to be out from his hold but he wasn't letting me. I was feeling suffocated by having him so near me.
"Le-lea-ve m-me" I shuttered and again looked up to see his worried filled face looking at me.
All those memories started to come back, I was feeling like I will stop breathing any minute. I was struggling to be out from his hold. Tears were flowing shamelessly and I don't care.

I felt Arjun's hold loosen from my waist and I instantly pushed him and got up from the bed and run away from there.

I sat down on the floor of bathroom and turned the shower on.
Tears were again flowing and I wasn't going to stop them.

Fake!
Everything is fake!

He was worried for me! No!!!!he was enjoying my vulnerable side.

I was crying my heart out.
Again I felt weak !
Again I can't protect myself!!
Again I am crying like I always do!!!
Again I cried because of my past!!
Again I cried because I am weak!!
I promised myself that I won't let my past affect me more but I effect me even more now!

Why ?? Why God why me??
Are you giving me punishment?? But for what??
Don't you feel mercy for whatever happened to me ??
Or,
Don't you feel mercy when you see me suffering from my past like this!!

I crying on my fate,
Crying on my past,
Crying because I can't help myself,

Last night when he told me to sleep beside him on the same bed I was stunted but somehow I managed to do it. But now this morning!
I don't know for how any time I stayed under the shower crying.
But when I felt all my tear went dry I stood up and took a warm shower to compose myself.

I came out and decided to wore a simple yet like newlyweds women type saree. I was bloody red with full sleeves blouse. Officially it was my first day in this house as a daughter in law.

I came out from the washroom fearing that he will be in the room but to my surprise he wasn't there.
I quickly comb my wet hairs and put vermilion on it.
I wore my bangles and went out.
My anklets were jingling very loudly and my bangles too.
I always like bangles, anklets they are I something I love from my heart.

I went out and noticed the hall was completely silent. Only my anklets and bangles jingling sound can be heard.

"Meera you woke up... that's too early" I heard gayatri ma's voice.
I turned around to see her with few servants. She smiled and nooded at my direction.
She dismissed then and came to mee.
"Good morning maa " I greeted her touched her feet she put her hand on my head in motherly way .
I know my morning wasn't too good.

"Did you sleep well??" She asked in concern and I give her a warm smile and nodded at her.
"Meera come to my room" she said gently and I followed her.

As we entered in the room I noticed there was a person the last one I wanted to see.

I drop my head low, I don't want to see him and after this morning incident I am ashamed!
He was standing,his back was facing us. He was still wearing his shirt and sweatpants.and was was talking to someone on phone. We both silently entered in the room and she told me to sit.

"Meera.... Arjun comes to my rooms every morning... just after waking up. He is still a small boy." She said looking at the him who was still on phone.He turned toward us hearings her voice. I moved my head in other direction. I don't want to face him.

Gayatri maa stood up and went to a room attached to her room. I guess its closet.
I looked at her back. But all the time I was feeling someone's eyes on me. I know who's eyes were they but I don't dare to look at him.
There was a awkward silence between us,I was looking at my lap playing with my fingers and he was looking at me while sitting on the sofa.
After few minutes she came out.
And I took a breath of relief. I noticed she was holding a bright red saree in her hand. She was looking at the saree and a smile was paying on her lips.
I also stoop up.
"Sit Meera " she said and her voices was little sad.

She handed me that saree and said.
"This is my saree... I wore this on the first day after my marriage in this house. And his grandmother also" she pointed her finger toward hin who wasn't very Interested in our talk.
I looked at the saree,I was very beautiful, it was like a royal saree.

She handed me that saree and ask me to wore this.
I respect there emotions so I went to change on the saree.

I came out and I saw ma's smile went wide.

"Oh my god... Meera you look like a goddess in this... soo beautiful " she complimented me and I lowered my burning face due to shyness which was red now.

I again felt his eyes on me but I ignored him. I went out of the room still feeling his eyes on me. We went to kitchen,
"Meera you need to cook something for us as it's a ritual" she said and I nodded.

"If you need anything you can order anyone of them" she said pointing his finger in the direction where 10 or more servants were standing.
I again nodded and smiled a little.
She went out and I engrossed myself in cooking.
I forgot everything and just enjoyed cooking.

On 2 hour my cooking was done and I enjoyed it a lot.
I made dum aloo,paneer kadia, veg biryani,  butter garlic naan,rice kheer, and gajar ka Halwa.

After making all this I went to serve this but the servants told me to let them do this.

I was about to go when ma entered.
She told me everyone is waiting outside. I also went out and stood near the dinning table. Soon everyone came and sat on there respective seats.
I heard a heavy footstep and I know who they belongs to.
I didn't turn or even turned my head I, just lowered my head, not wanting to see him.
He came and sat on his seat.
I took a step near the table to serve everyone but the maa stopped me.
"Meera come sit... they will serve " she said pointing towards the vacant seat near Arjun.
I timidly went near him and  took my seat.
Servants served all the dishes and everyone started to eat.

Sometime you know you did good but still you feel nervous about your work and that's how I was feeling.
I know I can cook well but still I was quite nervous whether they like it or not.

"The food is delicious"  I heard someone voice when I was busy in my thoughts.
I looked up as see it was dadaji.
I smiled at him whole heartily after this everyone complimented me. Expect one  I didn't complain nor I want.
After that I did my breakfast happily..
"Meera this is for you " dadaji said smiling handling me a bangles set.

I didn't  wanted to take this but unknowingly my eyes went to Arjun and he was already looking at me.  it was like he was knowing that I will look at him. He nooded at my direction as permission and I  took it from  dadaji and he bless me after this. Them maa came she handed me a necklace set.

Then choti maa gifted me another necklace set.

Then  Gauri di gifted me a earings

I took it also with a smile.
I love all these... they were very beautiful and I love them.

After breakfast everyone went to there work and send me back to our room.
I didn't wanted to go but I haven't any other option...
I just pray he isn't present there.

"Hope you will catch some rest..." siya said and I didn't understand what she meant.
"Huhh?" I asked her in confusion.
"Bhai is also in  his room.. hope he will  leave you and let you rest ....little bit" she said teasing and now I understand.  I just smiled at them not wanting them to get suspicious on us.
I was scared even more now knowing he is in the room.
They  went back and I went inside lowering my eyes...

My foot just wanted to inside bathroom and somewhere I was succeed but as I touched the bathroom door I was yanked back and my back hit a hard wall.

Wall??

Author POV...

As Meera entered in there room she directly made her way to bathroom but she didn't know she was being watched by eagle like sharp eyes.
He was watching her every action from morning very closely.

As Meera entered he noticed her, her head was lowered.
He got up and went to her silently and catched her before she go inside.

She was pushed  back and her back hit his board chest. A gasp left ger mouth in sudden act.
He  didn't anything just stayed like this for few seconds.
Her can feel her body tumbling.
She was breathing heavily.

Meera was very much affected by this proximate. Her body tumbled, her breath became uneven. Her past started to run in her eyes. She desperately wanted to be out from his hold.
She didn't understand why he always hold her like this.
She didn't like  it a bit. She wanted to shout at him.
Scream at him to leave her,but her voice wasn't coming out from her throat.
Not Meera nor Arjun was saying anything but many things were running in there both minds.
Arjun was findings his peace in her arms. He was feeling very light,very clam. And on the other hand Meera was devastated. She was crying mentally.
A sob left her mouth and then Arjun came out from his dream land.
He furrowed his brows in confusion,

Why is she crying??

He thought but before he could say anything he heard a loud painful scream from outside.
He immediately identify who's voice was this.

Gauri dii!!

Arjun left Meera and run downstairs to see his sister Gauri was laying on the ground holding her bump and screaming.  Her mother was holding her hand and siya was calling someone in panic state.
Gauri was having her labour pain.

As Arjun left Meera also went with him. The scream she heard was very much painful that she forgot her state and run to her.  She went down to see Arjun helping Gauri in standing.
She went toward them but then Arjun suddenly picked Gauri and went toward the car.
Arjun placed screaming Gauri inside the car.

Meera also sar besides her holding her.

"Di breath in breath out" Meera said. She was also a doctor and nearly everyone forgot that.
Meera instructed her,it will make her feel a bit relief.
"Drive fast " Meera screamed with gritting teeths at the driver which was non other than  Arjun.
She know it was Arjun and screaming at him was out of her courage list but at this time only reaching to the hospital matter to her.

As they reach at hospital ward boys being the stretcher.
They placed Gauri on then and run inside.
Meera was holding her hand all the time saying nothing but smooth word as she know they were needed.

They placed Gauri inside the labour room.
Meer went inside the doctor's cabin.
She talked to doctors and informed him as she is also a doctor.
Meera also went inside the labour room.

After few hours Gauri finally delivered a health baby boy.
The baby and the mother both  were fine.
As she went out and informed everyone about it.
They were so happy  and congratulate each other.
Meera was giving a full toothy smile.

Arjun noticed Meera everyone actions and he can't be more grateful to her. Gauri's labour was so painful and hard that he knows he can't handle her alone.
Meera helped a lot to them.
He can't describe his feelings when he saw Meera helping Gauri.
His heart fill with warmth and proud on his wife.
He know He marraid a right girl.

Everyone went inside to meet both baby and mother. Meera went to change.
As she came back she went inside and  saw her husband was holding the baby. He was smiling and looking but scared.
Meera Went toward Gauri who was looking exhaust.

"Are you ok" Meera asked Gauri she nooded at her with a small smile.
She also smiled back and then turned to her mother in law.

"Meera hold the baby " Gayatri Rajwanshi  forwarding the baby toward them.
She took the baby greedily.
She hold the baby gently and looked at him. She kissed his plam and then his nose.
She didn't noticed  Arjun's gaze on her nor  when Arjun came and stand behind him.
They all were looking like e family and then they heard.

"They look cute together "

So I know it was a quite a boring and short chapter. But I wanted you all to know the bond Meera share with Arjun's family members.

You all know Arjun mindset near Meera but in this chapter you all got to know Meera mindset whenever Arjun Is  near her...

I love Meera but can't help with her past.

And Arjun... sweetheart...
He didn't know about Meera much.

Don't you all think Arjun is more touchy when it come to Meera 😉😉
