I motionlessly shut close my eyes, knowing that these are my final minutes to live. My lips are trembling with fear, and because of the dry throat, I feel parched. I can hear the white beast breathing into me, drawing its face near mine.

The long whiskers of the cat tickle me as it gets closer. I gulp, still not wanting to get a glimpse of the scary brute. The warm breath hits me as it scrutinizes my face. I can feel its furry face touching mine. Sweat tickles down my forehead as I hold my breath. It must have been a solid minute, the soft presence of the big cat was gone. I can no longer feel it.

Why didn't it attack me?

It looks like the cat was rather curious about me than making me its dinner. I exhaled deeply and gain the courage to open my eyes. To my surprise the white tiger is sitting in front of me, yeah you heard me right, it is merely sitting near me with no intention to harm me. Its greeny orbs dug through my soul as it wants to read me. I keep staring at it. Its next move caught me off guard, It started talking.

"What do you think you are doing here in this forest of death?" I couldn't believe my ears.

Did I hear right? what in the world, did this bobcat just talk to me?

" Are you deaf or dumb?" it sneered. Before I could think of a reply I hear a familiar voice.

"Y/n, where are you?" Jungkook... I don't spare another minute before running towards him. My body collides with his as I run to him. I was never been happier to see him. I clutched his arm tightly as he stares astonished by my moves.

"A beast...talks...there..." I stutter and try to explain to him through panting. He pulls me in front of him and grips me on both my shoulders. I am trying to catch my breath, my eyes are bigger than tennis balls because of fear.

"Y/n look at me, " I can't focus on him.

"Jungkook.." I mumbled. He suddenly cups my cheeks and gazes at me. I can see a bluish flame in his eyes. I feel calm, it feels like I finally met my euphoria...so soothing and satisfying. My jittery feelings wash away.

Jungkook, slowly slides his hands away, remaining one palm on my shoulder. Did he just use his powers on me to do that? I again felt that light tingling on my shoulder.

"Now tell me, what was it?" I look at him and pointed behind him, as I see a silhouette falls among the trees.

"It's right there," He turns around to espy the creature who is walking towards us. I got behind Jungkook, where I can feel protected. The white beast share a glance with him and then look at me. I feel like it's smirking at me. How weird, this tiger just smirked at me, is that even possible?

" So you are with him," it talks. Jungkook smiles in relief.

"It's you," it seems like Jungkook is a friend of this creature, from his gestures I can say that he is sincerely happy to see it.

"On your way to the Kim's, hyung?" he casually asks. The tiger nods. Hyung? what the frickity fract, why did he call that beast hyung?

"I assume you are heading there as well Kook?" it asks already knowing the answer to his query, its head turns to me, "Who's she?"

" I'm about to find that too hyung, I'm taking her to the court with me, Taehyung hyung might know what to do with her." the cat nods, "Imposter?" Jungkook denies.

" I can't assure that, we have to make sure that she's not another part of their sorcery" I snorted as Jungkook says,

" You are aware that I'm listening to you right? For your information, I'm standing here right next to you," I snap at him and pace away from his shadow.

" Oh my bad," he sarcastically replies, ignoring me completely.

"I will join you as well then, we better get going Jungkook, the dark is no longer safe for us you know that. It's making us weaker. Even for me, it's not safe," the tiger says, urging us to move forward. Jungkook sighs as it says. "We should get going." he turns at me as he suddenly remembered something, he grips my arm tightly and pulls me closer to him,

"Never leave my sight again, wicked or not until I confirm who you are, you are under my protection," his blazing orbs are on fire, "This is the darkest era of our kingdom, there is no telling beforehand where the danger lurks, " I gulp as he says. "Stick with me, are we clear?" He's alarmed, deeply worried about something. I can say that there is something ominous going on in their kingdom.

"Cristal," he let me go as I say.

"Don't worry too much, death will hurt only that much, " the saber winks at me. I scoffed. This one is one of a kind.

"By the way I'm Yoongi, Min Yoongi, leader of the Min clan" the cat introduce itself as we walk. He is another clan leader? As Hei-Ran told me there are five clans and seven leaders of this kingdom.

So one of them is a cat?

" You are a clan leader? " I ask the creature who is walking next to me. " Wonder why they chose a big cat as a clan leader," he chuckles

"Bold of you to assume that I'm just an ordinary cat Miss Cha Y/n," I gawp at the tiger who calls himself Min Yoongi.

"How do you know my name?" I am hundred per cent sure that I never mentioned my name in front of him. Then how did he...

"I told you I'm extraordinary,"

"You all are making me go bananas," I mumble with confusion.

We enter an open ground through an arch of trees. I hear a loud gushing sound of water, and a strong gust of wind blasts as we step to the ground. unless like the lifeless forest, we have been walking all this time, this place is full of fauna and flora. The grass is pinkish gold. Trees filled with lavender blossoms stood on the ground, humongous. I sense the fragrance same as the Jungkook's house. White fluffy rabbits hop freely, jumping for joy. It's the most beautiful and adorable scenery I have seen so far. It feels so alive. As we walk the animals didn't even bother to run away, as they were tamed. A big waterfall streamed down from one side, forming a rainbow at its other end. Such an outstanding view.

"We are almost there," Yoongi stated. I am still mesmerised by the sight. " It's so beautiful," those words slipped unwillingly. Jungkook chuckled and turns my head to another side and gains my attention towards that side,

"Wait till you see this," my mouth opens wide, astounded by the picture ahead of me. Waterfalls are falling from the clouds, I couldn't see where they start. It was a whole village, old fashion houses are built on top of the rocks. It looks similar to an ancient Chinese road. Lanterns are hung by the ropes that connected the houses. I can see people walking. What surprised me most was the things floating in mid-air.

"Oh my,"

Whales...they are beautiful purple colour whales, they swam in the air, and some of them have small whales following them.

"What are those?" I asked Jungkook. "Borawhales, they are called as a symbol of royalty and loyalty, they are being worshipped by the people of hwa." He looks at them,

"See that golden one?" he shows me a different one among them, I glance in awe and nod.

"That's the omega, he stays alone, it says that there are hidden marks of it that will be visible only when the Luna flower returns," he explains furthermore.

"What is a Luna flower?"

"It's the energy core of the kingdom,"

"She really knows nothing about Hwa does she?" Yoongi says, shrugging his back to wipe off the water droplets of the mist. suddenly silver colour dust covers him, they wind around his body. I start to panic, "What's happening to him?" unlike me, Jungkook was calm, as if it was a normal thing.

"Calm down, he is shapeshifting,"

Min Yoongi is a shapeshifter? Didn't see that coming.

I watch the silver shadow grow taller, it became taller until it grew to a size of a man. From the silver dust, a man appears, when the dust vanished, I could see a completely different form of the tiger I've known. His face is pale, dark colour bangs are fallen to his forehead, and the black outfit made him look even more paler, despite that, he is breathtakingly handsome. He cracks his neck and rubs it, his emerald eyes shoot a glance at me,

"You were saying?" his lips twitches to a smirk, "Didn't expect this cat to be this handsome eh?" I scoff as Yoongi says. "And here comes our ride.." I look at the direction I hear an echo of a whale.

Oh damn, I'm gonna ride a whale?
