Lessss gooo!!

I was on my way to Ruhaan's house to meet him. It had been many days, but we still had no information about Avantika's murderer. My hopes were diminishing, but seeing Ruhaan gave me the strength to carry on.

I couldn't let him suffer like this. He had already endured so much, and I was determined to bring happiness back into his life.

While I was driving, my eyes caught sight of an eerily deserted road. There was a car parked there and a man standing beside it. To my shock, there were many girls present too. I pulled over, got out of my car, and cautiously approached the scene, hiding behind a tree to observe.

After hiding, I tried to get a better look at what was happening. A few moments later, more girls arrived, along with another man. This man was wearing a mask. He treated the girls horribly, grabbing them by their hair and forcefully throwing them into the back of a truck. He did this to each girl, one by one. My eyes widened in horror as I witnessed this scene unfold.

Once all the girls were inside the truck, the masked man walked to his car and pulled several packets out of the trunk. I squinted my eyes to see what they were. After observing closely, I realized they were drug packets. My hands began to tremble, and a cold chill ran down my spine. My lips quivered, and my mind went numb. The man loaded all the packets into the truck.

The truck drove away, and then the man removed his mask. In that moment, my world came crashing down.

Advik Oberoi.

Ruhaan's rival.

At that event, when he had stared at me with those lustful eyes, I had sensed that he was a vile person. But I never imagined he could be involved in something this heinous.

I quickly ran back to my car, desperate to get away. I drove straight to the hospital road and called Ruhaan to tell him everything. After explaining the situation, I waited anxiously for him to arrive.

"Please, Ruhaan, come soon," I whispered to myself. Finally, Ruhaan arrived.

I rushed to him and hugged him tightly, tears streaming down my face. He gently placed his hand on my head and rubbed it soothingly. After breaking the hug, I looked at him and tried to control my tears.

"What happened, Sohana? Why did you call me? And why do you look so scared?" he asked. I knew I had to tell him as quickly as possible.

Just as I was about to speak, his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and then at me.

"Inspector?" he said, and I told him to put the call on loudspeaker.

He put the call on loudspeaker and started talking to the officer.

"Hello, Mr. Ruhaan," the officer said, and Ruhaan responded.

"Hello, officer. Yes, what happened?" Ruhaan asked.

"Actually, we collected some information about those men we saw in the footage last time," the officer said, and Ruhaan glanced at me.

"Really?" Ruhaan asked, his voice filled with anticipation.

"Yes, please come to the police station as soon as possible. My team and I have recorded the footage," the officer said, and I nodded at Ruhaan.

After a few more words, Ruhaan ended the call.

"Sohana, let's go," he said.

I thought to myself that finding out about Avantika was more important than Advik Oberoi right now. I would tell Ruhaan about Advik later. For now, we needed to focus on Avantika. And so, we headed to the police station together.

As we drove to the police station, my mind raced with thoughts. What had I just witnessed? How was Advik involved in all of this? I glanced at Ruhaan, who was focused on the road, a determined look on his face. I wanted to tell him everything about Advik, but I knew it had to wait. Avantika's case was our priority.

We arrived at the police station, and the atmosphere inside was tense. Officers were bustling around, and there was a palpable sense of urgency. We were quickly ushered into an office where the inspector was waiting for us.

"Mr. Ruhaan, Ms. Sohana, please take a seat," the inspector said, gesturing to the chairs in front of his desk.

"We have some crucial information regarding the men involved in Avantika's case," the inspector began. "Our team has been working tirelessly, and we believe we have identified a potential lead."

He turned on a monitor, and the footage from the day Avantika was last seen began to play. It was grainy but clear enough to recognize certain details.

The inspector showed us footage where Avantika was missing, but the man was present. That man, wearing various masks, got into his car. The inspector rewound the footage a bit more, and finally, we saw the faces of those men clearly.

Ruhaan looked at the inspector with a sense of realization and shock. The inspector met Ruhaan's gaze and took a deep breath.

"Mr. Ruhaan, ever since I saw those men on the Vadodara Expressway footage, I've been suspicious of them. That's why I checked the cameras on all roads connected to that expressway. After thorough investigation, we finally identified who those men are. I called you here so you could be informed about everything," the inspector explained. Ruhaan, in a fit of rage, slammed his fist on the table.

"I need those bastards right now. RIGHT NOW!" Ruhaan yelled, his anger palpable. I held his hand, trying to calm him down.

"We can catch them," the inspector assured, looking at me with a determined expression.

"How?" I asked, seeking clarity.

"We not only identified who those men are, but we also discovered where they came from before they reached the Vadodara Expressway. It appears to be a hideout for criminals. There's actually a camera at that location too, but I don't think those fools know about it. We've installed CCTV cameras all over Ahmedabad, which made it easier for us to track them," the inspector replied.

"That's why we can catch them. And yes, that man always stays at that hideout. We noted this from the footage. So, they should still be there. It won't be difficult to apprehend them," the inspector added with confidence.

"Then what are you waiting for? Let's go to the place," Ruhaan urged, his voice filled with urgency. I nodded in agreement, feeling the tension and anticipation in the air.

We set off for the hideout with the inspector and other investigators. The journey was filled with a mixture of anticipation and dread. The inspector briefed us on the plan as we sped through the city streets, the flashing lights of the police vehicles illuminating the night.

Upon reaching the hideout, we approached cautiously. The inspector coordinated with his team, ensuring everyone was in position. The hideout was an old, decrepit building on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by shadows and eerie silence.

With a signal from the inspector, the team moved in. The doors were kicked open, and the place was flooded with the beams of flashlights and shouts of commands. The men, caught off guard, scrambled in panic.

Ruhaan fumed in anger and took big steps towards those rascals. He slapped one of the men and kicked a men on his balls. He then slammed a man's face on the table. Blood oozed out of the man's face and I immediately walk to Ruhaan to stop him from being so violent.

He started to punch another man continuously without any mercy. I tried to hold his arm and stop him but he wasn't ready to listen to me. The police officers came forward and pulled back Ruhaan. Ruhaan wiped his lips with the back of his palm.

"I swear, I would've killed you all today if these officers wouldn't have stopped me." Ruhaan threatened them and those men looked at him in fear.

The police officers left Ruhaan and I stay beside him to calm him down. The inspectors walked towards those men to arrest them. Ruhaan and I watched as the police apprehended the criminals. The inspector approached one of the men, pulling off his mask to reveal a face etched with fear and realization.

"This is just the beginning," the inspector said, turning to us. "We'll get to the bottom of this, and justice will be served."

Ruhaan, though still seething with anger, seemed somewhat relieved knowing that the culprits were in custody. The day had been long and tense, but we were finally a step closer to finding Avantika and unraveling the mystery that had engulfed our lives.

It was now nighttime, and I sat on my terrace, reflecting on the day's events. I felt a sense of relief knowing that we had finally made some progress in uncovering the men involved in Avantika's murder. The police had assured us that they would soon find the mastermind behind these men and reveal their entire operation.

The cool breeze brushed against my cheeks, providing a soothing comfort. I closed my eyes, grateful that after so many days, something positive had happened for Ruhaan, and I was truly happy for him.

Suddenly, my phone rang, and it was Ruhaan calling. I quickly answered.

"Hello, Sohana!"

"Yes, Ruhaan, what happened?" I asked.

"Sohana, the police officers informed me that those men are involved in drug trafficking. They sell drugs," Ruhaan said, and my eyes widened in shock.

"What?" I asked, astonished.

"Yes, and they are involved in many illegal activities as well," he continued, and I made an 'O' shape with my mouth.

"Oh god! They are really dangerous," I exclaimed.

"Yes, I'm just praying that we find the mastermind soon and bring peace to Avantika's soul," he said, and I smiled a little.

"Everything will be fine, Ruhaan. Don't worry. God and Avantika are both with us," I reassured him.

"Yes," he replied.

We talked for a while longer before ending the call. I walked to the edge of the terrace to feel the breeze more intensely.

"Those men are involved in drug selling," I whispered to myself. "Bastards."

Suddenly, I remembered Advik. He was also dealing drugs today. My eyes widened, and I placed my palm over my mouth in realization.

Could those men and Advik be connected?

No, please no, don't let it be true.

Please, God, no.

But Advik isn't a good person either. He also sold girls today. I needed to tell Ruhaan about this immediately.

I reached for my phone and was about to call Ruhaan when I sensed someone's presence behind me.

Before I could turn around, everything went black.
