Envi was your bestfriend, seeing as you lived in a town where people hardly ever moved to, when she showed up one day out of nowhere it was like a breath of fresh air breathed into town. Everyone loved her instantly, including you. As if she had some kind of supernatural charm that made everyone want to be friends with her. Seeing as you were attending the community college and she opened up a small bookstore / library you ended up seeing her a lot. The two of you became close quite fast and two years later were best friends. For the past few months however, you could feel that Envi had changed in some ways. She started distancing herself and rather than run the bookstore she adored, had part time workers take over her shifts. Weeks passed by and the two of you went from hanging out everyday to barely even texting. You always tried to reach out but would only get one worded responses back from her. It hurt to see your bestfriend acting like this, so you ended up confiding in your significant other for comfort. Which only seemed to drive the two of you further apart, as Envi always got seemingly jealous whenever the two of you were together. After three months of this going on, you finally had enough of her acting this way. Determined to find out how to fix what had went wrong, you walked over to her bookstore around closing time. The sign on the door was flipped to the 'sorry we're closed' but the door was still unlocked. You walked inside, looking around for your bestfriend. It took a while before you found her in the back of the library section, talking to someone on the phone. It was clear she hadn't heard you come in. "Are you sure it's (your name) though? What if you're wrong Ardor? What if Ezra is wrong this time?" You were shocked to hear not only your name come up but someone else's who you were completely unfamiliar with. You thought you knew everything about Envi, so who was this Ardor and Ezra? More importantly, why were they talking about you?
