"THAT'S IT? NO MORE KARATE?" Demetri said to the group as they were studying in the library.

"I guess so," Miguel said sadly. Lexi gave a comforting hand on his back.

"It was probably for the best, it was starting to boost your confidence."

Lexi looked up at the boy with a questioning look.

"What's wrong with confidence?" Lexi asked, confused on why confidence is a bad thing.

"What has confidence ever gotten anybody except for a black eye or their backpack was thrown in the trash."

Since Lexi was the youngest out of the group and also a freshman, she did not have a lot of experience with bullying. At least not yet.

"W-Well, I thought it was cool how you stood up to Kyler."

Lexi smiled at Eli for encouraging his friend, being proud that he spoke up for what he thought was right.

Eli returned the smile back at the girl then gently placed his hand on top of hers under the table. Lexi blushed at this action and rubbed her thumb around his hand.

"Are you insane? Let me ask you, what is the best superpower anyone can have?"

"Super strength."

Demetri immediately responded. "Wrong. Invisibility. A distance second would be super speed. To run away fast."

Just as Demetri said that Kyler snuck up behind Eli and spoke, which made the group jump.

"Runaway from who?" Kyler said, scaring Lexi, making her let go of Eli's hand.

Eli looked at her slightly sad that she let go of his hand, but it was not the right time to think about that now.

"We were just leaving," Demetri said, while the rest of the group got up.

Just as Eli got up, Kyler grabbed his face. "Hey, look at this freak."

Brucks started to laugh. "Damn, what kind of girl would want to kiss this shit?" Kyler said, which made Lexi's ears perk up.

When Kyler said that, Lexi found this as an opportunity to show what Eli really meant to her.

"How about me," Lexi said then grabbed Eli's face and smashed their lips together.

Eli kissed back almost immediately and put his hands respectively around her waist.

"I stand corrected, you freaks deserve each other."

"Well since I am Sam's sister and you are supposedly dating her, I guess that makes you a freak as well, doesn't it?"

Kyler stumbled upon his words and was about to leave until he spoke up again, trying to find a comeback.

"Well, have you not had enough Rhea'?"

Kyler pushed Miguel and the group tried to get away, but Kyler grabbed a hold of Demetri's backpack and yanked it off of him.

"Hey, you don't want this shit. "

"Come on man, I just cleaned it," Demetri said, but it was too late.

Kyler threw his backpack in the garbage and just as they left, Demetri picked it up and there was yogurt all over it.

"I'm sorry Demetri, it's okay I'll clean it for you," Lexi said.

"Thanks, Lex, I really appreciate it."

"Don't sweat it," Lexi said with her signature smile.

"Sooo, are we going to talk about that kiss that just happened," Miguel said trying to lighten up the mood after that incident.

Lexi looked over at Eli with a huge smile and held his hand again.

" I meant it, Eli. The kiss, I meant it. "

Those words made Eli's heart flutter. It was official. Eli Moskowitz has officially fallen in love with Elexcia LaRusso.
