Bae Chowon (IND // B): It's been 5 minutes and i've already failed my group... i chose all rappers for a song with no rapping... i can't believe i'm so stupid. what was i even thinking?

Bae Chowon (IND // B): I'm so sorry everyone... i put us in this position and now you're all stuck with this song...

Jung Yena (JYP // C): It's okay Chowon! I'm happy to be on this team still, we'll just practice and prove that we can dance and sing too.

Lee Somin (IND // A): Should we decide a leader first?

Bae Sooyoung (CUBE // C): I think Somin should be our leader, because she is will be able to work on the dancing with us...

Jung Yena (JYP // C): And she earned an A rank in the re evaluation!

After a lengthy discussion and hours of vocal and dance practice, the girls prepare for their first evaluation by the mentors.

[TEAM #2: I LOVE YOU]

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // A): We should decide our positions first!

Lee Suran (CUBE // B): I had a couple ideas... how about this?

Park Athena (PLEDIS // A): Why did you give me a vocal position? I'm a dancer...

Lee Suran (CUBE // B): Well... I just thought maybe you'd like to show a different skill... everyone knows you can dance really well so maybe you'd want to take a vocal part.

Park Athena (PLEDIS // A): I think I can make those types of decisions for myself.

Kim Sora (JYP  // B): I wouldn't mind performing a dance part...

Chaerin and Weilan were sitting out the disagreement... but seeing how it seemed to be going around in circles, Chaerin decided to step in.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // A): Well... Hyelin sings a lot of the high parts in the chorus? Maybe we could see who can hit the notes best?

Park Athena (PLEDIS // A): Okay... but I think the answer will be obvious. *she sings the chorus and is able to hit the notes, but sometimes it seems like she's straining her voice*

Kim Sora (JYP // B): I'll try now... *she sings the chorus and is able to hit each note with ease*

Lee Suran (CUBE // B): Well, I think it's obvious... Sora should take Hyelin's part.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // B): *clapping her hands together* Alright then! Problem solved!

Lee Suran (CUBE // B): I think Chaerin should be our leader... she's pretty good at conflict resolution.

The group begins to practice, though the tension is still present. Even with their differences, they know they must put on a good performance.

Hwang Hayun (IND // C): I think i'm the only one so, i'll take it.

Misae Nakamura (JYP // A): What about main vocalist?

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // C): Okay... this might be a slight problem....

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // C): I was a little bit worried... we weren't making much progress because it felt like no one really cared about the performance. I mean, sure, it hurt a lot not to be chosen, but that doesn't mean we can't pull through an still win this!

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // B): So Misae, Hyunjin, and me... how should we decide?

Kang Hyunjin (SM // B): I changed my mind... I think I want to take Seolhyun sunbae's part...

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // B): After the re evaluation, I was really excited because I thought it would finally be my chance to prove to everyone that I'm a good vocalist, so I wasn't going to back down easily this time.

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // C): I would really like a shot at being the main vocal

Misae Nakamura (JYP // A): I guess we could both learn the part and then ask the mentors who performs it better?

Misae Nakamura (JYP // A): I guess I could have let Sunhi take the position... but the first elimination is coming and this performance will mean everything... besides, Sunhi is way more popular than me, so I'm not giving up.

Even though the group has come to at least a partial decision, there is still an awkward tension in the air.

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // C): Maybe we could start learning the dance now?

Kang Hyunjin (SM // B): Good idea! We only have a few hours until we're supposed to perform for the judges... we have so much to do...

Hwang Hayun (IND // C): *patting her on the shoulder* It's fine! We got this!

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // C): I think i'd like to take Jennie's part, i think i can do it well!

Choi Seohyun (IND // A): Well, i would really like a dance part... and the other positions don't really have any dance sections... except Jennie's.

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // C): As soon as Seohyun asked for the part... I knew I was going to lose. I really thought this was my shot, but there's no way I'll be chosen over her.

Roh Yulhee (SM // B): Maybe we could give Li Mei a chance? You've had a lot of dance parts already... i think everyone knows you can dance.

Jeon Jungkook (Vocal Mentor): It's not just practice, you need to be confident in your abilities. Every time you take the center position to sing your line you have to own it.

Kim Hyuna (Rap Mentor): The concept is supposed to be magical right? Imagine that each one of you is trying to cast a spell on the audience, but you're competing against each other. Your teamwork is good, but you all need a little bit more wow factor.

Jung Hoseok (Dance Mentor): Let's see it all from the top!

The girls get into position again, focusing on their stage presence and there is an immediate improvement.

Kim Namjoon (Rap Mentor): This is what I'm talking about!

Jung Hoseok (Dance Mentor): Chowon, that was the best I have ever seen you perform on this show~ you are turning out to be quite the center for this team.

Kim Namjoon (Rap Mentor): I agree! But as for Athena and Weilan... I have some feedback. Weilan, it's not that you're not trying, but I feel like you need to spend a lot more time on the rap part compared to the dance. Athena... it was fine, but it wasn't particularly strong either.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // B): Thank you for your feedback... we're both pretty new to rapping so we'll take all the advice you give us!

Tiffany Young (Vocal Mentor): I thought the vocals were pretty stable, just try not to strain your voices on the high notes, there's no point in practicing so much if you end up losing your voice before the performance.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // A): Thank you sunbaenim. Would you like us to perform again?

Jeon Jungkook (Vocal Mentor): *Looks to the others for confirmation* No, I don't think so... we have to go to the next practice room now. Keep up the good work here! *he gives each girl a high five as the mentors file out of the room*

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // B): *tearfully* It shouldn't be that upsetting... I saw it coming but I really wanted the chance to be the main vocal.

Kim Hyuna (Rap Mentor): Hayun~ the sole rapper in this performance... don't be afraid to get into the song... it isn't what you're used to I'm sure, but I think with confidence you suit this concept well.

Kim Chungha (Dance Mentor): *to Hoseok* I think Misae and Choonchee fit the concept as well... the others... I'm not so sure about. Being in a cute concept can be hard if you think it's embarrassing because the easiest way to succeed at a cute concept is just to own it! No matter how silly you think it is.

Roh Yulhee (SM // B): I felt terrible after hearing the mentor's feedback... I was supposed to lead the group, but I wasn't able to help us enough to even be satisfactory.

Tiffany Young (Vocal Mentor): But I just don't see you fitting this concept enough to be the center... I think you'd be a better fit for the lead vocal part.

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua): Of course not... *tears start to well up in her eyes but she just takes a deep breath* Sometimes I wonder why I'm still on this show... but then I remember that everything happens for a reason, and if I give up, then I've wasted half of my life. So I'm just going to perform the lead vocal part the best I can and get those votes anyway!

Kim Hyuna (Rap Mentor): I don't know what to say about the rap... it was just... messy, there was no flow, it felt like you didn't spend enough time on it.

Kim Namjoon (Rap Mentor): Do I even want to see the performance again?

Tiffany Young (Vocal Mentor): Let's give them another try... Why don't you start from the top and keep in mind our feedback.

The girls get into position and nervously begin the performance again. Only to be stopped half way through by Chungha.

Kim Chungha (Dance Mentor): I'm sorry everyone... but I really think you need to practice more before we watch your performance. You're improving, but we can't sit here all day. I'll expect more at the next evaluation.

The mentors exit the studio, leaving the disappointed girls to figure out some solution to their problems.

After showing more practicing from each team, the camera cuts to later that night, where some of the B class trainees are discussing their day.

[ROOM FOUR]

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // B // T1): It was awful... first we couldn't agree on parts... then Chungha had to stop us in the middle of of performance because we kept screwing up the dance. *she puts her head in her hands* I just don't know what to do.

Kang Hyunjin (SM // B // T4): *hugging Charlotte* It's going to be okay unnie... I'm sure tomorrow will be better...

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // B // T1): I hope so... how was your day?

Kang Hyunjin (SM // B // T4): Well Misae and Sunhi both wanted to be the main vocalist, then Jungkook said it should be Misae... Sunhi just seemed so betrayed... I didn't know what to do. This show is stressing me out so much! I didn't think it would be so competitive in the first two weeks!

Kim Sora (JYP // B // T2): *screaming into her pillow*

Bae Chowon (IND // B // T3): Are you okay??

Kim Sora (JYP // B // T2): Can I tell you a secret?

The three girls crowd around Sora's bunk excitedly.

Kim Sora (JYP // B // T2): Our team got in a big fight today... well just Suran, Athena, and I mostly. I don't think Athena likes us all very much... *she looks ready to either cry or scream into her pillow again*

Bae Chowon (IND // B // T3): Come on.. there's got to be more... spill the tea

Kim Sora (JYP // B // T2): And.. well.. I think she was really mad because I was trying to take her part or something? She's really scary if I'm honest and I'm terrified for practice tomorrow.

Bae Chowon (IND // B // T3): I mean, at least you didn't chose all rappers for a song with no rap parts.

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // B // T1): Wait.. no way... really?

Bae Chowon (IND // B // T3): All the way...

So it seems all may not be perfect, everyone has their struggles, from the avengers team to the underdogs, but it really comes down to the National Producers... and who they think truly deserves a second chance.
