The fifth group of trainees to come in also cause quite a stir among the girls, who've now learned that falling asleep can cause you to miss some of the most interesting things going on.

The pair of girls are both young and are definitely recognizable from the promotion episode.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // ??): *blows a kiss to the camera pointed towards the number seat* If you want something, you have to go for it.

Chaerin sits in the number one seat and the entire room goes silent for a few seconds before whispers break out.

Nakamura Misae (JYP // ??): I'm not sure if I should be threatened or  really impressed that she sat in the top seat. Besides... the mentors already like her because of her audition. The rest of us are going to work twice as hard to be recognized.

With Chaerin in the first seat, Herin decides to choose seat number six. After that, two girls come in together. One of the trainees looks extremely shy and nervous, the other is practically bouncing up and down the stairs. They part ways and head to their seats.

Choi Seohyun (IND // ??): Bonjour mes amis, je m'appelle Scarlette. Ma d'origine est Bordeaux mais maintenant J'habite à Seoul. Enchanté! *she surveys all the different letters* Hmm... what to choose? I'm feeling lucky today so I'll choose A!

Bae Chowon (IND // ??):  Hi everyone, I'm your girl Bae Chowon from Montreal, nice to meet  everyone. Also, guess what? Today's my birthday~ I guess it's my lucky day huh? I think I'll choose letter B for "the best" *she laughs to herself* What? Someone's got to laugh at my jokes.

Seohyun chooses to sit in seat eleven, while Chowon selects seat twenty. Upon seeing she finally has someone sitting beside, Sora practically lights up in seat 10.

Kim Sora (JYP // ??): Annyeonghaseyo! I'm Kim Sora- nice to meet you!

Choi Seohyun (IND // ??): *confused* Parlez-vous français?

Kim Sora (JYP // ??): Oh, you speak French. Do you speak Korean?

Choi Seohyun (IND // ??): Parlez-vous français?

Kim Sora (JYP // ??): So you don't speak Korean then? Um... Bonjour?

Choi Seohyun (IND // ??): I'm kidding. I speak Korean as well~ I'm Choi Seohyun, but everyone just calls me Scarlette.

Kim Sora (JYP // ??): Oh! *she starts laughing*  Okay~ I can't believe I fell for that.

Choi Seohyun (IND // ??): Don't worry, when I first met the other individual trainees I had them going for a whole week.

Kim Sora (JYP / / ??): Alright, I feel a little less bad now... Gosh, you're a really great actress

Choi Seohyun (IND // ??): Thank you *she blushes and looks down at her lap*

The other three individual trainees follow behind them shortly, choosing equally as spread out seats from what's remaining.

Shin Eunjin (IND // ??): Oh my god this is the coolest thing I've ever done in my entire life. I need to take photos of everything, everyone is going to want to see this.

??? (Staff Member): Miss, we're going to need your phone.

Shin Eunjin (IND // ??): My phone? *she clutches her phone to her chest* That's like asking for my child!

??? (Staff Member): I'm sorry Miss, but we need your phone. Everyone else surrendered their phones.

Shin Eunjin (IND // ??): Surrender?? That makes it sound like I'll never get it back!

??? (Staff Member): You'll get it back when you leave the show.

Shin Eunjin (IND // ??): *sighs* Goodbye my child. *she hands the phone to the staff member* Annyeonghaseyo everyone, I'm your princess Shin Eunjin~ please take care of me. Also to my friends and parents who I promised to call every night: I'm really sorry! I guess you'll just have to watch the show instead. *she laughs* Alright! I'm selecting a B sticker for myself. She ends up choosing seat number 15, waving to the other trainees around her.

No really, this has been my dream ever since i was born. Don't worry mom and dad~ i won't let you down! My sister said that I should choose what I want, not what I think i'll get, so i'm taking an A sticker. Wish me luck! *she blows the camera a kiss*

Somin settles into seat number nine, greeting Sora and Seohyun with a smile.

Hwang Hayun (IND // ??): What's up everyone? Hwang Hayun here- lets get it! Before you can ask, I'll let you know everything you need to about me. I was born in raised in Daegu, yes i'm a rapper, no i don't exclusively write diss tracks. But i can... if you ever need it. Also, the second this becomes lame I'm out. And one last thing: I don't wear pink

The staff says something inaudible to Hayun.

Hwang Hayun (IND // ??): What do you mean the uniform for the theme song is pink?

Something else inaudible can be heard. Hayun sighs and stares sadly into the camera.

Hwang Hayun (IND // ??): I lied. I guess i'm not allowed to write diss tracks while i'm on the show. Oh, and i also have to wear pink i guess.

She takes a C sticker and makes a show of sticking it to her name tag before waving to the camera and leaving.

Hayun sits beside Chowon in seat nineteen. The two girls give each other a high five to the surprise of the other non-individual trainees.

Bae Chowon (IND // ??): Hey Hayun unnie, fancy seeing you here.

Hwang Hayun (IND // ??): What's up my Canadian rapper friend.

The room falls in silence for a little while. The trainees who can do math calculate there's only three trainees left because of the empty seats.

Suddenly a girl runs in and cartwheels up to the first level, finishing with her arms held high. Two others follow her soon after, but they walk in, laughing with each other.

The girl who cartwheels introduces the trio.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // ??): Annyeong- we are the former PLEDIS girls. Please take care of us.

As they go to take their seats, the room is dead silent because everyone recognizes them. Their group, called Heart Attack! debuted in 2016 and won rookie of the year at the MAMA awards that year, only for the group to disappear for the next three years. Their disbandment was announced a few months prior.

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // ??): Annyeonghaseyo jeonun Park Sunhi-ibnida. The ball of energy here is-

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // ??): Zhang Weilan, coming at you! But don't be afraid, i don't bite- i'm just kind of loud. Sorry in advance-

Sunhi nudges the third girl to come forward.

Park Athena (PLEDIS // ??): Annyeonghaseyo *she coughs* jeonun Park Athena-ibnida. I'm sorry for my voice, I'm a little bit sick- but i'm still going to do my best at the performance today.

Weilan taps her on the shoulder.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // ??): It's okay Athena. You'll do great!

Athena manages a shy smile, and tucks her hair behind her ears.

Park Athena (PLEDIS // ??): PLEDIS fighting!

The three girls make their way to up to the empty seats.

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // ??): Alright, who gets to go to the top?

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // ??): Rock, paper, scissors?

Park Athena (PLEDIS // ??): Clearly the most effective way to make decisions.

The girls play and Athena is out first. She resigns herself to seat 15. Weilan and Sunhi have an intense best out of three for Weilan to take the last point.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // ??): Yes! Seat two here i come!

Weilan sits in the second place seat, waving to Sooyoung and Hyunjin.

Kang Hyunjin (SM // ??): Can you teach me how to cartwheel like that?

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // ??): Are you worthy of the cartwheeling master?

Kang Hyunjin (PLEDIS // ??): ...yes?

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // ??): Okay. I'll teach you.

The two girl's conversation is cut off by the sound of the Épanoui theme song introduction. Park Jimin enters the room and one (or more) (i'm not naming any names but *cough* ****** *cough*) nearly faints from excitement.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // ??): Wahhh I'm breathing the same air as Park Jimin right now.

Lee Suran (CUBE // ??): I only have one question to ask him: who gave him the right to be that handsome?

Park Jimin (National Rep): Annyeonghaseyo trainees, I'm your National Representative, Park Jimin, nice to meet you guys. *he gives his famous smile* And while i'm sure you'd all love me to be the sole judge of your fate, let's bring in the rest of the mentors!
