Currently ranked in fifth place, Roh Yulhee is the first to enter the rehearsal room.

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): I wonder who else will be on this team...

[ 2 MINUTES EARLIER ]

Park Jimin (National Rep): Roh Yulhee, our current fifth place trainee. *he hands her an envelope with her song*

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): *reading* Ah! Yes!!

[ CURRENT TIME ]

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): To be honest I'm a little surprised that none of the trainees above me are on this song, but I guess the national producers thought they would fit other teams. *she shrugs, sitting on the floor* Now, we wait.

She doesn't have to wait long.

[ OUTSIDE THE DOOR ]

Weilan is standing nervously outside of the door. Another trainee approaches. Who will it be?

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): Shhhh

Athena Park (PLEDIS // 7): *whispers* Sorry! What's going on?

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): *whispers* I'm trying to figure out if there's anyone in there yet.

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): *from inside* You know I can hear you both right?

The two girls make their way inside of the room, giggling to each other.

Athena Park (PLEDIS // 7): PLEDIS girls reunited again!

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): We've literally been on every team together...

Athena Park (PLEDIS // 7): *thinking* Oh yeah, huh.

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): *Gesturing for them to sit on the floor beside her* So what do you think of the song?

Athena Park (PLEDIS // 7): I don't really like the singing, it sounds kind of annoying to be honest. But the dance is the best of the three so I guess I'll stick with it.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): We've got two dancers and a rapper so far... hopefully we'll get some vocalists as well.

The trio aren't waiting for long, as the fourth trainee joins their group.

Kim Sora (JYP // 8): *nervously* Hello?

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): Greetings fellow team mate! I don't think we've ever met... I'm Yulhee, nice to meet you.

Kim Sora (JYP // 8): O-Oh. It's nice to meet you too...

[INTERVIEW]

Kim Sora (JYP // 8): After the last mission, I was a little bit nervous to see who my team mates would be... especially if it was anyone from my last performance. But I knew Weilan and Athena from the group evaluation, and Yulhee seems nice, so maybe this won't be as bad as I thought!

Sora joins the circle of trainees with a smile, sitting between Weilan and Athena.

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): So how are you feeling about the song?

Kim Sora (JYP // 8): As long as I don't get a rap part, I'm looking forward to it!

The discussion continues for a few minutes until the next trainee arrives.

Hwang Hayun (IND // 11): Hello everyone!

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): So that brings us to two dancers, two rappers, and one vocalist... that should be it right?

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): Unless we get a sixth member...

The room goes silent. If team Dumb Dumb gets a sixth member, at least one of them will be unable to perform the song. There's a knock on the door.

Choi Seohyun (IND // 16): Bonjour~

Hwang Hayun (IND // 11): And then there were six...

Roh Yulhee (SM // 5): Well, since I don't think it's possible to get seven members, I think we can begin.

They've been told by the staff to double up on parts until the next elimination. All the trainees are on edge, this episode could make or break them.

Kim Sora (JYP // 8): So that brings us to 2 and a half dancers, 2 and a half vocalists, and 2 rappers...

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): Wait... how can we have half a person?

Kim Sora (JYP // 8): I wasn't sure if Seohyun wanted to be a vocalist or a dancer, so I just split her in half~

Athena Park (PLEDIS // 7): Well, it looks like there's only one dance part, and three rap parts.

Hwang Hayun (IND // 11): Besides Yulhee and I... does anyone else want to rap?

Her question is met with silence.

Hwang Hayun (IND // 11): Let me rephrase, can anyone besides Yulhee and I rap??

[INTERVIEW]

Park Athena (PLEDIS // 7): I really really wanted the dance part. But I've rapped before, I did it in the group evaluation and everyone in this room knows that...

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): This was going to be the make or break. My rank might be six now, but after the last evaluation, I'll bet I'm dropping to the bottom. So I guess I did it for two reasons: sort of as as a last chance to prove myself to the national producers, but also for Athena. I knew she really wanted the dance part, and I'd really like at least one of the PLEDIS girls to make it to the final group. To show everyone that we're more than Heart Attack.

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): I'll take the third rap part. I rapped in the group evaluation.

Kim Namjoon (Rap Mentor): Weilan, it's not that you're not trying, but I feel like you need to spend a lot more time on the rap part compared to the dance

Kim Sora (JYP // 8): Are you sure Weilan?

Zhang Weilan (PLEDIS // 6): Yes. I'll do it.

The six girls begin rehearsing the dance next, Athena getting the dance part she requested.

Chaerin gives a friendly smile and does the hands to the Dalla Dalla dance from their joint audition.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): Too long, I'm glad we get to work together again.

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // 4): To be honest, I was terrified of being on the same team as Chaerin again. She hasn't dropped out of the top two since the beginning and she seems to be able to do everything and sometimes it seems like there's no spotlight for the rest of us.

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // 4): So what do you think of the song?

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): I actually really like it. It seems to have been produced really well~ I'm excited to have the opportunity to perform it.

Before Sunhi can reply the door squeaks open.

Lee Suran (CUBE // 9): Heyyyyyy!

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): Suran! Welcome to the team!

Lee Suran (CUBE // 9): I'm not surprised to see you here Chaerin... oh hey Sunhi!

The next three girls to join the team excitedly push through the door together.

Shin Eunjin (IND // 12): Woah...

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // 14): Why are you surprised?

Shin Eunjin (IND // 12): Oh I don't know. It seemed like the right reaction?

Kim Herin (BigHit // 15): There's literally three people in here? Why are you surprised?

Shin Eunjin (IND // 12): I came here to have a good time and i'm honestly feeling so attacked right now.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): Look who it is? The BigHit girls are reunited.

Kim Herin (BigHit // 15): No surprise it's on a girl crush concept too.

Chaerin gives Herin a slightly awkward, but affectionate side hug.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): We haven't been on the same team since the beginning!

Kim Herin (BigHit // 15): *teasingly, pointing to Suran* Yeah, and I see you've already replaced me.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): What no! I could never!

Kim Herin (BigHit // 15): Okay, whatever you say Chae.

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // 4): I hate to cut this reunion short, but should we maybe start practicing now?

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // 14): Well it looks like we'll have to double up on parts for now because there's six of us.

Shin Eunjin (IND // 12): We have... four vocalists and two rappers... well that actually works out fine for now.

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): I'm pretty confident this is going to be a strong team. I don't really think there's any weak links... but I haven't worked with many of these people either so, you never know.

Shin Eunjin (IND // 12): So who wants to go for the main vocal position?

Four of the six hands go up, unsurprisingly.

Park Sunhi (PLEDIS // 4): I have lost the main vocal position twice so far. It's not happening again.

Lee Suran (CUBE // 9): The obvious choice was Chaerin, but there were also three other vocalists who would also fight for the position, so this could end very badly...

Lee Chaerin (BigHit // 1): Since we don't have a dance focused trainee... i'll do it. I'll take the main dance part instead.

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // 14): I think i actually just want the sub vocal part... there's no use creating more competition.

Kim Herin (BigHit // 15): So what's the best way to decide the main vocal position?

Shin Eunjin (IND // 12): Throughout this whole competition i've never gotten to be the main vocal. I really want the opportunity now.

Charlotte Ashbourne (SM // 14): Well we don't actually have to decide just yet? Because we have six members we can just double up for now.

The group seems wary of leaving such an important question unanswered, but agree its the best temporary solution.

Unlike the other two teams, Misae and Choonchee wait outside the rehearsal room for the rest of their team mates. The staff instructs then to go inside, but the pair are adamant that going in early would be rude and that they shouldn't be treated differently because of their ranks.

Misae Nakamura (JYP // 2): Hey! Not really surprised to see you here~

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 3): Me either. Guess the producers and I both know what i'm good at... especially after that last evaluation.

Misae Nakamura (JYP // 2): I thought you did really well on the dance team...

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 3): No matter how well i do, i feel like there's always someone who is better.

Li Mei is the next trainee to join the team. She walks up to the duo, surprised.

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 10): What's going on? Are we not allowed in yet?

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 3): We're just waiting for the rest of the team to arrive before going inside.

Misae Nakamura (JYP // 2): I'm a bit surprised to see you here Li Mei.

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 10): Me too honestly. But i guess this is what the national producers wanted.

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 10): I was hoping for the girl crush group, or whatever concept the second song had, but i guess i'm stuck in the cute concept now. This might be difficult... just based on who's on the team now... and who i think will probably join later.

Kang Hyunjin (SM // 13): Is this where the Summer Dream team is meeting? Do we not get a room?

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 10): We do. We're just waiting for our last team mate now.

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 3): Who do you think our last team member will be?

Kang Hyunjin (SM // 13): Either Chowon or Seohyun. They were the last ones to get their letters.

Chowon comes running down the hall, holding her half unfolded envelope in one hand.

Bae Chowon (IND // 17): *out of breath* Sorry I'm late. I hope i didn't keep you waiting too long.

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 10): It's only been a few minutes, you're good.

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 10): Just what i expected... they're all way too bright and shiny for me...

Misae Nakamura (JYP // 2): Shall we start rehearsal now?

The five file into their rehearsal room and promptly watch the video of their song on repeat for the next 20 minutes.

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 3): Shall we decide parts then?

Misae Nakamura (JYP // 2): I think i just want the sub vocal part for now... i'm not super confident in this concept...

Kang Hyunjin (SM // 13): I think there's something bothering Misae... she seems to have lost a lot of her confidence after the last couple evaluations. And she said she only wanted a sub vocal part??? That's so unlike her...

Kwon Choonchee (Yuehua // 3): So who goes for the main vocal position then...

Kang Hyunjin (SM // 13): *looking at Li Mei* Could I maybe take the main part? Then you could have the lead vocal's high note?

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 10): Wait really?

Bae Chowon (IND // 17): You should do it Li Mei!

Yang Li Mei (Yuehua // 10): Thank you!

Jung Hoseok (Dance Mentor): Of all three groups they definitely practiced the most.

Tiffany Young (Vocal Mentor): It was an interesting choice on Weilan's part... but to be honest she's not a terrible rapper.

Kim Chungha (Dance Mentor): Team Get It seems to be struggling with balance. They all seem to want the spotlight.

Kim Namjoon (Rap Mentor): What did you expect? That's most of the stubborn trainees all in one group.

Kim Hyuna (Rap Mentor): I wonder why they didn't establish a main vocal...

Kim Namjoon (Rap Mentor): That's kind of smart though, because now they'll have a backup if one is eliminated.

Jeon Jungkook (Vocal Mentor): I think i was most surprised with Eunjin. She did really well with the vocals and concept.

Tiffany Young (Vocal Mentor): The Summer Dream group was a little messy, but they were so adorable!

Kim Namjoon (Rap Mentor): I was surprised to see Li Mei as the main vocal, but she did very well.

Kim Chungha (Dance Mentor): My biggest problem is that it was just all messy. The dance needs to be really clean in order to look good on stage...
