"DONE." ADENA STATED AS SHE FINISHED HER LIPSTICK. "with five minutes left." alessia praised, high-fiving the greek girl after. "take some pictures, i look fine as hell."

alessia did as she was told, taking pictures from literally every angle possible. then, the phone of hotel itself rang. adena quickly picked it up, "is this adena drakos?"

"yes, this is she."

"there's a young man by the name of franco, waiting here for you." adena could feel her heart pounding in her throat. god, i'm nervous.

"i'll be right down, thank you." she hung up the phone and quickly grabbed all of her stuff. alessia pulled her into a hug unexpectedly, "don't fumble." she whispered jokingly, as a giggle fell from both of their lips. "i won't."

adena walked out for the elevator, into the lobby. she immediately saw him, he had a bouquet of flowers with him. she made her way to him, smiling all the way there. "fran." she sighed when she was close enough. he let gave her that same boyish grin, like he did at the airport, "hi niña linda," his eyes raked over her figure before he looked her in the eyes again, "you are stunning." he breathed.

adena's face flushed instantly, but she ignored it and let her eyes glide over his figure as well, "you're quite handsome yourself." she complimented back, making the boy grin.

"i have flowers for you, but don't open the card until tonight, when i bring you back." he instructed. adena looked at him questioningly as she took the flowers from his hands. he only gave her a wink as answer. "you're insufferable, colapinto." she groaned, only making his grin widen.

"let me put these at the front desk, i'll just take them up with me when i get back." adena said after admiring the bouquet for a few seconds. she did as she said and gave them to the lady at the front desk, who took them happily and wished them a nice evening.

franco held out his hand for her to take, which she didn't have to think twice about. he led her outside of the hotel and to a silver mercedes-maybach. even though she was raised rich, she was still slightly surprised at how he had gotten it just for this evening.

he opened the passenger seat door for her to get it, "ou, such a gentlemen." she smiled teasingly, "only for you." he replied smoothly. adena's cheeks flushed once again, it seemed to be a frequent occurrence when it was franco speaking to her.

"shut up." was the only thing that came out of her mouth as she tried to suppress the grin that wanted to take over her face. "you liked it." he teased, ushering her into the car's open door.

the boy quickly made his way over to the drivers side of the car and got in. as he started the car, he spoke again, "you can have aux, it's about a twenty minute drive to the restaurant." he smiled, giving her a side glance while reversing the car out of the parking spot.

adena gladly took that opportunity and connected her phone's bluetooth to the car. she scrolled through her playlist for a few seconds until deciding on 'killshot' by magdalena bay.

adena sung along softly as they drove with out really speaking, she would save her yapping for when they were actually at the restaurant.

as promised, twenty minutes later, they arrived at the restaurant. as adena was about to open the car door herself, franco stopped her with a hand on her arm, "stay put." he politely demanded, "i'm sat." she blurted, making the boy let out a nose laugh before getting out of the car. he made his way to her door and even held his hand out for her to help her get out.

the two made their way into what —adena could only guess— was a five star restaurant. she followed franco up to the server that was waiting at the entrance, "hello, sir and ma'am! do you have a reservation for today?" the waiter asked, making franco nod, "yes, should be under colapinto."

the waiters eyes raked over the notepad that was on the side table next to him, "yes, i see! i shall bring you to your table and one of our waitresses will be with you as soon as possible." he finished, before leading them into a little more secluded part of the restaurant, where less people were.

the couple both thanked the waiter as the argentine pulled out adena's chair for her, "is this your attempt to get me head over heels in love with you, ángelos?" she teased as she sat down. he walked around the table to sit down himself as he smiled cheekily, "might be, hermosa." he flirted back.

adena blushed again lightly, i need to get that checked out.

only a few seconds after, a girl, maybe sixteen, came up to their table, "ciao, my name is rosa and i'll be your waitress tonight! what can i get you started with for drinks?" the girl —rosa— smiled as she put menu's out for both of them.

"are you okay with a wine, dee?" franco asked, his eyes towards his date. adena nodded, "white preferably." she said with a smile. rosa stated some of the wines they had that eve and franco chose one, making the waitress nod and walk off to go get them their drinks.

as the two were alone again, adena's eyes found his, "are you even allowed to drink during the race weekend?" she asked, making him smile mischievously, "i won't tell if you don't. besides, i'll only drink one glass, i still have to get you home safely as well." he winked, making adena laugh. "you're so stupid."

more then two hours later, franco and adena were still sat in the restaurant, laughing and chatting about the most random stuff.

"so alessia, mac and i went to this club on a random thursday night right? and all of the sudden, i hear alessia let out the biggest gasp of her life. so i turn around and i see luca, a girl under each arm, and a sneaky smile on his face, and he was looking right at me!" she animatedly told franco the story of how alessia almost fought her ex boyfriend. the argentine boy listened intently, only interrupting to laugh at the things she would say.

"alessia just immediately jumped at him and started yelling in italian and pointing one of those angry fingers at his chest. it scared the two girls that were with him so bad, that they ran off. me and mac enjoyed it up until the point sia actually started hitting him." adena finished with a laugh, franco laughing with her. "remind me to never get on alessia's bad side." he joked, making adena snort through her laughter. "she'll only hit you if you actually do me dirty." she comforted sarcastically, grabbing his hand on the table in mock reassurance.

"in that case, i think i'll be fine." his tone wasn't as lighthearted as before, he sounded genuine. he squeezed her hand as she averted his gaze, not wanting him to see the red flush on her cheeks for —what must've been— the sixtieth time that night.

after a few seconds of silence, rosa suddenly popped up at their table again, "i'm sorry, but we are closing in ten minutes, i would suggest going over to the register. i really am sorry, you two look like you're having a great night. i wish both of you the very best together." the young girl smiled.

adena hadn't even noticed the time, "oh gosh! no it's fine rosa, we'll pay and get out of your hair. and thank you, by the way. we'll leave you a nice tip, you've been great." adena rambled to the teen, who seemed to appreciate her words.

"thank you, miss!" the waitress spoke as she showed the couple to the register to get their paycheck. "that'll be 267.90, please." rosa smiled as franco pulled out his card, "make it 285, rosa, the rest is for you."

the girls excitement could be seen from miles away as while smiled brightly. "thank you guys so much!"

as they walked out of the restaurant and back to the car, adena felt her ankles and feet hurt. "fuck, these heels are killing me." she groaned, making franco stop dead in his tracks.

the greek girl quickly pulled her heels off of her feet and walked back up to the boy. he quickly grabbed her heels from her, with outa word before turning around and squatting a bit, "jump."

"fran, stop. i can walk thirty meters back to the car." she laughed, but he wasn't having it. "jump, adena." he instructed again, making her sigh but listen.

she jumped on his back, and as soon as she did, franco went off running. "FRAN! stop!" adena laughed as he kept his short sprint to the car up.

when they reached the car, he let her down from his back and turned around to face her. adena looked him in the eyes. she hadn't previously noticed, but his eyes were hazel, not fully brown. "you have pretty eyes." she blurted mindlessly, the four glasses of wine finally catching up to her.

"thank you, adena," he smiled genuinely, "now let's get you back to your hotel."
