With Lyla to her right and Ima to her left, the three women down the street, looking through some shop windows. Avery wanted to get some stuff for the room she was renting at Happy's house. After assuring her she could do with it whatever she wanted, she decided to get some decorationsᅳ and with that she meant plants.

Since she already had everything from her old apartment, she didn't need any new furniture. Two weeks ago, Happy and her, along with Lyla and a prospect, had made a trip to Idaho to get the furniture from her apartment, where the redhead could finally spend some time with her mom again, which both women urgently needed.

Due to her drug addiction, the two women hadn't been able to have a real conversation for ages and it was good to finally be able to perceive things properly again and once again Avery was so grateful for Lyla's and Happy's help.

Celine Dvorak had also promised to visit her two daughters in Charming as soon as her job allowed her and until then they would talk regularly over the phone. The older woman was also quite enthusiastic about Happy.

Through Lyla's late husband, she knew that the bikers weren't what everyone said they were but were pretty nice and helpful. And even though Avery had tried to make it clear to her that there was nothing going on between Happy and her, Celine hadn't missed the looks that the two had kept giving each other.

In any case, Avery was now officially in Charming and had already changed her address. Her room was furnished and one wall painted in a sage green. Since all she really needed was her bed, her dresser, her dressing table and chair, and her clothes rail, she was able to sell the rest of the furniture in her apartment, which allowed her to pay Happy her first rent.

And since she still had something left, she decided to go shopping with Lyla and Ima, who had now become a friend thanks to Lyla.

"So, tell us", I'ma started, smirking at her new friend. "How is he in bed? Never did him before though."

Avery almost choked on her coffee to go, causing Lyla to let out a chuckle. "What the hell, Ima?"

"Oh please, you can't tell me you two haven't fucked yet. Do you realize the looks you give each other? You literally undress each other with your eyes", the extrovert blonde stated in a 'duh' tone.

"We don't do that", the redhead muttered under her breath, knowing that Ima was just stating facts.

"Come on, Avery. Even mom noticed something's going on between you and Hap." Lyla linked their arms, smiling. "Why don't you tell him that you like him?"

"I'm sure he knows that already." With her cheeks covered in a dark red now, she cleared her throat.

Ima and Lyla just shared a quick, knowing look, both smirking like idiots as they saw how embarrassed the redhead was for getting caught. But they just wanted to help. It almost hurt their eyes to watch both of them not realizing how they felt for each other.

"You know Happy, he's a man of few words. There's a chance he's not going to say anything about itᅳ that's why you have to do it, sweetie", Lyla told her with a small smile. "He could be good for you. And we know Debbie already loves you. And your cat", she added with a chuckle.

"I agree with everything your sister said", Ima hummed cheerfully before that smirk was back on her face. "And I bet he knows how to treat you behind closed bedroom doors."

"Is sex really all you can think about?" Avery let out a chuckle, shaking her head before taking another sip of her coffee.

"No, but it is important though", Ima shrugged, giving Avery her sweetest smile. "And you, sweetheart, definitely need to get laid soon."

"Not that I encourage you to do this kind of stuff since I'm your older sisterᅳ but Ima's right", Lyla nodded in agreement.

"Good to know the two of you are so intrigued by my sex life", the redhead replied with a roll of her eyes, laughing.

"We just want what's best for you, honey", Ima stated.

"Mhmm, I can see that." Avery stopped in her tracks and threw her coffee to go in the trash bin before gripping both Lyla's and Ima's arms, nodding her head towards the blonde across the street. "Isn't that Kim's sister?"

"That bitch who insulted a child?", Ima asked. A few days after Debbie's birthday party Lyla had told her on a break at work what went down with Happy's exᅳ that's why she knew about it.

"Yep, that's her", Lyla scoffed. "I'd love to slap that smile off that's bitch's face for suing Happy."

Avery didn't care much about anything else but the blonde's arm, which definitely wasn't broken as she told her lawyer. A week ago Happy got a letter from Betty's lawyer saying he needed to pay the hospital or they would bring him to court.

The redhead had seen Happy mad once, and that was on Debbie's birthday, but when he read the letter he was seethingᅳ which was understandable. Yet he had no other choice but to pay if he wanted to stay out of trouble. And Avery knew that the five thousand Betty wanted from him hurt him to pay. It wasn't like he was a millionaire or something.

"Her arm isn't even broken, that bitch faked the whole thing", Avery seethed. At the moment, her mind was clouded with anger, but she still realized how angry it made her when someone tried to screw Happy. "She can't get away with this!"

"Hey! What are you up to?! Avery!" Groaning, Lyla stopped when a car blocked her way after Avery had already run across the street. It was only a moment later that she and Ima were able to follow, but it was already too late to stop Avery from losing her cool.

"Holy shit, she can really throw a punch for looking so innocent." With one eyebrow raised, Ima watched as the redhead swung again and again as she gave Betty a good beating, holding Lyla back when she tried to intervene. "Leave her be, the bitch deserves it."

"We're in the middle of the street, Ima!" Lyla looked around carefully, but it was still quite early and there was actually no one in sight at the moment except for a few cars that drove past, none of which stopped. "I didn't know she had so much anger inside of her."

"Stop it, bitch!" Betty screamed and kicked around as Avery was already on top of her, but she fell silent again when Avery's fist hit her nose once again. Wincing in pain, Betty dragged her long nails along Avery's shoulder in the hope of being able to free herselfᅳ without success. "What's your fucking problem with me?!"

"I won't let you mess with Happy! What did you do with the money, huh?!" Avery hissed at the woman beneath her, her chest rising and falling heavily before she threw another punch, her knuckles already soaked in Betty's blood. "And that was for calling Debbie retarded, stupid bitch!"

"Hey, what's going on here?" A woman in her fifties rushed out of the small store where the fight took place, already clutching her cell phone. "I'm calling the police!"

"Like I give a shit," Avery sneered, all the anger and frustration that she had held inside since her brother died came out all at once.

"Avery, that's enough." Lyla's calm voice reached her ears and when her sister tugged at her arm, which had some warm blood running down it from the scratches Betty had just inflicted on her, she got off the blonde with a sigh and spat in her face, earning a disgusted look from the Saleswoman.

"Give Happy the money back and apologize to Debbie, sincerely or next time I'll catch you where no one can help you", she spat at a whimpering Betty, who was trying to wipe all the blood from her face.

"You're a psycho!" Betty cried out and let the saleswoman help her to her feet. "You're lucky if I don't sue you too!"

"You better not", the redheads voice dripping with venom as she was finally dragged along by Lyla and Ima as more people stopped to see what was going on.

"You've made your point but we really need to leave", Ima emphasized seriously as Avery continued to resist and wanted to attack Betty again as she played the poor victim.

"She can't get away with this, damn it", the redhead insisted angrily, but at the same time she sounded desperate. "She hurt them, both of them."

"And you wanna tell me that there's nothing between Happy and you", Lyla murmured, secretly feeling proud of her sister for this move. Betty deserved what she got, period. "She got what she deserved, that's all you can do, sweetie."

"You could kill her, I'd help you", Ima suggested, grinning like it was no big deal, earning a warning look from Lyla. "Okay okay, we won't do that. But it would be a solution."

Even Avery had to laugh at that. "I know why I like you so much."

Sighing, she finally gave in and left with the two blondes before anyone would actually call the cops on her. Getting arrested was the last thing she needed right now. Even if she would take that risk for justice and for Happy and Debbie.

Man, maybe the little family really meant more to her already than she wanted to admit to herself.

Happy stormed towards Avery as she entered Red Woody, where the Sons were also at the moment to sort out a few things before the productions could really start here, with Ima and Lyla by her side. Even though some films have already been made, none of them have been allowed to be released yet. Until now.

"What the hell happened?!", he barked at the three women and immediately grabbed Avery's upper arm to look at the scratches, and he also discovered all the blood on her bruised knuckles. "Damn woman, what the fuck did you do?"

Ima smirked proudly, putting her hands on her hips. "She beat the shit out ofᅳ"

"Ima, don't", Avery shook her head slightly, not wanting Happy to get mad at her for beating the shit out of Betty.

She knew he hated that bitch, but her move could make it harder for him to win sole custody for Debbie if Betty decided to bring it up. But she had been so angry that she didn't think about that before she threw her first punch.

"Doll, what the hell?" Impressed, Tig put his forearm on her shoulder before a smirk hushed over his face. "Who's got a good beating? Too bad I wasn't there. Two women fighting is so hot."

"Actually, only Avery did the fighting", Ima interjected, soon feeling Lyla's elbow in her side. "Hey! I'm just telling them how it is. The bitch deserved it."

"Does anyone want to fucking tell me what happened?!", Happy demanded, whose expression was anything but enthusiastic. Not because he was mad, but because he was worried about Avery. Even though she stood in front of him almost uninjured, she still looked shaken.

"Come on, let's leave these two alone." Lyla gave Ima and Tig a meaningful look, who both sighed like two children who were now desperate to know how the conversation would continue. Nevertheless, they ended up following Lyla, who was asked into the office by Jax anyway.

"Talk. And I want to know everything, Avery", his dark eyes met hers before he looked at her bruised knuckles again and sighed, and despite his concern, there was also pride in his tone. "Looks like whoever you beat up, you got them good."

"Yeah", she heaved a humorless laugh and scratched her eyebrow awkwardly before she started explaining. "I saw Betty in town, her arm wasn't broken. When I realized she was messing with you, I got angry. It's also her fault that Debbie still doesn't speak as much as usual. Somehow I lost my shit."

She let out a deep sigh, her gaze cast to the floor in shame for fear of seeing judgment or anger in Happy's eyes. "I'm sorry, Happy. I know that you are currently under observation and it is still being decided whether Debbie can stay with you completely. I didn't want to get you in trouble andᅳ"

Before she could ramble on, Happy cupped her face in her hands and leaned in before he gave her a kiss that felt both sensual and demanding. At first she was so surprised that she stared at him while his lips were already on hers but she quickly got over the shock and moved her body closer to his, her hands resting on his chest.

The moment she parted her lips for him he let his tongue slide into her mouth, exploring it with his tongue just like she did with his. A grunt coming from him flowed into the kiss while a soft sigh escaped her throat as their tongues danced together. Damn, it felt better than she had imagined and after this it would be impossible to deny her feelings for him.

It felt like the kiss reinforced everything she felt for him and she now knew for sure what she wanted. She wanted Happy by her side.

"What was that for?", she asked softly after they pulled away, yet he was still holding her close to him.

"Don't ever apologize for standing up for the people you care about", he rasped close to her lips, placing another kiss against the corner of her mouth. "I'll make sure she won't get you in trouble for this."

"So, you're not mad?" She let out a relieved sigh, closing her eyes for another moment before she looked up at him again. "How? I'm sure she can't wait to tell her sister and their lawyer."

"Fuck no. I'm proud of you, little girl", he grunted, the slightest smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. She stood up for his daughter and him, that meant everything to him and made him fall for her even harder. "You don't need to know how, but don't worry about it."

Even though she wanted to know how he wanted to take care of the problem, she didn't push it right now and nodded slightly. "Thank you, Happy. But I'm sorry you have to take care of the mess I made."

"Well, stop feeling bad about it. I don't mind. Besides, I wasn't done with that stupid whore anyway" Shrugging his shoulders, he let out another grunt before their lips collided again. Avery was his now, and no one was allowed to harm his property in any way.
