Delaney sat in the back of Dean's Impala while he was in the store getting himself, Sam and Delaney something to eat for breakfast. She wasn't sure what kind of breakfast food he would find in a rundown, dirty gas station but she wasn't going to complain about getting some food into her system. She hadn't eaten since last night and her stomach was starting to growl at her.

Dean walked out of the gas station with a bag full of drinks and food. He got into the driver's sat and tossed Delaney a bag of chips and water. "Here you go, Della."

Delaney caught the chips and looked at them oddly. "This is breakfast?" She questioned, looking between her two brothers.

"Breakfast of champions and demon hunters everywhere," Dean responded as he started up the car, Motorhead blasting from the speakers.

"You really need to update your playlist," Delaney commented, leaning forward so her head was between her two brothers.

Dean glanced back at Delaney. "I have a rule in this car. Driver picks the music and passengers shut their cakeholes," he said, pushing Delaney's face so she was sitting back in her seat properly.

"You're such a weirdo," Delaney said with a laugh.

"Sorry I can't hear you. The music's too loud," Dean shouted, turning the music up higher causing Delaney to wince at its volume.

As the Winchester children cruised through Jericho, Delaney alternated between staring out the window or texting her friends from school who were wondering where she was. The only person she was able to tell that she was leaving for a few days was Will and that was only because he had called her when she got back to her room to grab clothes.

Delaney felt bad that she had to cancel on their breakfast date but knowing Dean, he would have won no matter what happened. That was always the case with them. Sam was always the buffer between the two of them and Dean was always the authoritative figure when their dad wasn't around. Sometimes Delaney wondered if Dean really thought he was her dad with how he ordered her around most times. She knew he did it because he loved her and wanted to make sure she was always happy and protected since their dad was out on a job a lot. However, sometimes she wished Dean would take just a tiny step back and act like her brother. Delaney already had a father, she didn't need another one.

Sam closing his phone snapped Delaney out of her thoughts. "So there's no one matching Dad at any of the morgues or hospitals. So that's got to be a good sign."

Dean went to answer when he noticed two cop cars sitting on the bridge they were heading towards. "Check it out," Dean said to Sam, pointing to the cars.

Sam leaned forward and checked out the scene as Dean pulled over to the side of the road to get a look at what was going on. A few cops were on the bridge, looking at some abandoned car in the middle of it. One communicated back and forth on the radio in his hand with someone.

Dean and Sam exchanged a look before grabbing their fake marshal badges out of their pockets. Dean turned to Delaney who was looking confused on what they were doing. "Act natural got it? You're a trainee and you came with us so you could get used to going on cases, which means no talking. Understood?"

"What exactly are you doing?" Delaney questioned, feeling herself grow nervous. She wasn't exactly the best liar in the world, earning herself multiple groundings because of it. Hence, lying to the cops might be a bit hard for her to do.

"Just follow our lead," Sam said, shooting his sister a reassuring smile and getting out of the car along with Dean. Delaney scrambled out after them.

As the three walked over to the cops on the bridge, Delaney wrapped her black leather jacket tighter around her body. She was trying to hide her shaking legs and nervousness from the cops. She had to act natural and Delaney was pretty sure constantly shaking and being wide eyed was something that was not natural or normal.

"No sign of struggle?" The sheriff was asking as the siblings walked over.

"No footprints, no fingerprints. Spotless. It's almost too clean," the cop who was kneeled down by the open driver's side door replied.

"So this kid Troy, he's dating your daughter isn't he?"

"Yeah she's putting missing posters out all over town."

Seeing the break in conversation, Dean decided to finally speak up. "Fellas, you had something just like this last month didn't you?"

The sheriff looked at the three with a skeptical expression. "And you are?"

Dean held up his fake marshal badge. "We're federal marshals and the girl is a trainee."

The sheriff took a good look at all three of them, growing more and more skeptical as time passed. This made Delaney's nerves skyrocket because what if he noticed the boys were lying? They could go to jail and Delaney wasn't about to be locked up in a dingy cell for several years because she lied to a cop.

"You guys are a little young to be marshals and a trainee," The sheriff noted.

Dean flashed the sheriff a charming grin. The type of grin that usually got him out of any sort of trouble. "Thanks that's awfully kind of you," he replied before turning his attention back to what was going on around them. "You did have another just like this, right?"

"Yeah, that's right. About a mile up the road," the sheriff answered. "There's been others before this one as well."

"So this victim, you knew him?" Sam asked.

The sheriff seemed to grow solemn as he thought about the recent victim. "In a town as small as ours, everybody knows everybody."

"Any connection between the victims besides that they're all men?" Dean interrupted, causing Sam to glare at him.

"Not so far as we can tell," the sheriff admitted.

"So what's the theory?" Delaney asked, deciding to open her mouth and make it seem like she was just trying to learn her job. This earned a look from Dean and Sam. She knew she wasn't supposed to say anything but Delaney felt weird not asking at least one question. Didn't trainees usually ask a question or two as well? Not just stood there looking useless.

The sheriff turned his attention to the youngest Winchester, shocked to hear her speak. "Honestly, we don't know. Serial murder, kidnapping ring. Could be anything as of right now."

Dean scoffed and shook his head. "That is exactly the kind of crap police work I'd expect from you guys," he remarked, causing Sam to stomp on his foot for being an idiot. Delaney placed her hand over her mouth to hide the laugh that escaped her lips.

The sheriff looked at Dean as if he wanted to do just what Sam had done but worse. This caused Sam to speak up and say, "Thank you for your time." He began to walk down the bridge, Dean and Delaney quickly following after him. Once they were far enough from the sheriff that he couldn't see, Dean whacked Sam on the head.

"OW!" Sam snapped at Dean. "What was that for?"

"Why did you have to step on my foot?" Dean fired back.

"Why do you have to talk to the cops like that?" Sam countered, shooting Dean another glare.

Dean rolled his eyes and stopped walking to turn to Sam, causing Delaney to bump into his back from his sudden movement. "Oh come on. They don't really know what's going on here. We're all alone on this and if we're going to find Dad, we're gonna have to get to the bottom of this thing ourselves."

"What exactly is going on?" Delaney asked, still lost on what was happening. She still didn't believe her brothers were demon hunters because that just sounded like a bad horror movie. They must be into something bad though if their dad had gone missing.

Both boys glanced at their little sister. "Don't think I forgot about you, missy," Dean warned.

"What? I didn't do anything," Delaney defended, gaping at Dean.

"You didn't listen to me. I told you not to - " Dean was cut off by a real marshal and two FBI agents standing behind them.

"Can I help you guys?" The marshal questioned, not looking too pleased with them.

Dean turned to face the three men standing in front of them. "No, sir. We were actually just leaving." He nodded at the two FBI agents who they had run into a couple of times on other hunts before leading his siblings back to the car.

Delaney followed her two brothers down the block towards the girl Amy. She pulled on her brothers' arms, having an idea pop into her head.

"What?" Dean questioned, looking at Delaney with a confused expression.

"I think I should talk to her instead of you guys," Delaney suggested, looking from the small girl hanging missing posters back to her brothers who were looking at her like she was crazy.

"Why should you do it and not us?" Dean asked, crossing his arms across his chest.

Delaney shoved past her two brothers as she walked towards the girl. "Watch and learn," she muttered to herself before stopping in front of Amy, startling her at Delaney's random appearance.

"Hey, um, you're Amy right?" Delaney mustered the best fake smile she could as the girl gave Delaney a once over.

"Yeah why?" Amy skeptically answered.

Delaney glanced at her brothers who were curiously watching the scene unfold. "I'm in Troy's science class. We're kind of lab partners and I guess you could say friends since I've known him since we were in diapers. I'm looking for him as well and I'm really worried something bad happened to him."

"He's never mentioned you to me before," Amy stated, crossing her arms.

"Yeah I guess I deserve it. We're kind of in a big fight and he went missing a few days after our big blow out. I've been asking around and you guys were together so I was hoping you would know something that everyone else doesn't," Delaney explained, trying to sound as sincere as possible. She was mentally patting herself on the back because for someone who couldn't lie, she's been doing a great job of it the past few hours.

Before Amy could say anything, a girl around Amy's age walked up to the two girls. "Amy, are you okay?" She was eyeing Delaney as if she was a stalker or something.

"You don't mind if I ask you guys questions do you? We can go sit inside a diner where my brothers are. They're worried about him as well."

Amy and her friend had a silent conversation with each other before nodding in agreement and following Delaney into the diner nearby that she saw Dean and Sam duck into.

The five of them sat at a booth in the back of the diner so the boys and Delaney could ask them about Tony without having anyone listen in on the conversation. Wouldn't be good for anyone if someone happened to turn around and hear the interrogation going on in the booth.

"I was on the phone with Troy and he was driving home. He said he would call me right back and, uh, he never did," Amy recited from her memory, feeling tears well in her eyes.

Delaney handed her a napkin so Amy could wipe away the tears. Her heart broke for Amy. She could never picture something like this happening to Will. She would probably react the exact same way that Amy was. It made Delaney want to grab her phone and call Will just to tell him she loved him and hear his voice. It was something she always did when her anxiety would get too much.

"Did he say anything strange or out of the ordinary?" Sam asked.

"No, nothing that I can remember," Amy responded, gripping the napkin in her hand as if she was trying to hold onto something to remind her this wasn't a dream.

"Listen here, ladies," Dean began. "The way Troy disappeared, something's not right. So if you've heard anything..." He trailed off as Amy gave her friend, who they learned was named Vanessa, a look. Vanessa rolled her eyes as if what Amy was trying to silently tell her was absurd.

Delaney picked up on it as well and leaned forward in her seat. "What is it?"

"Well, it's just with all these disappearances, people tend to talk you know?" Vanessa vaguely replied.

"What do they talk about?" The two Winchester boys eagerly wondered, hoping this is something that could lead them to whatever demon was hurting these men.

Vanessa hesitated and it was obvious she thought the whole thing was kind of stupid. However, she sat up straight from her slouched position against the window and began to explain whatever it was to the Winchesters. "It's sort of this local legend. This one girl, she got murdered like decades ago. Apparently, she still hitchhikes up there and whoever picks her up disappears forever. No one knows what happens to them."

Delaney looked to her brothers to see them already doing their talk through facial expressions thing again. She really needed to learn a code for these kinds of conversations so she could know what was going on.

"So why exactly are we back at the bridge?" Delaney was rushing to keep up with her brothers as they walked back onto the bridge they were on earlier that day. While she was taking a nap in the car, her brothers had apparently found an old article that gave them some sort of lead to what had happened in this town. Delaney was confused on how this would help the guys find their dad but, at this point, she was tired of asking.

Dean and Sam ignored her as they stopped at the railing, looking over the side of the bridge. "So this is where Constance took the swan dive."

"Do you think Dad would have been here?" Sam looked to Dean for an answer.

Dean shrugged. "He's chasing the same story and we're chasing him. We've got to keep digging until we find him."

"Dean, I have to go back to - " Delaney was cut off by Dean groaning and turning to face her.

"School, I know," Dean cut her off. "So you really want to do this whole college thing? Be away from your big brothers and your father."

"Dean..." Sam tried to stop the argument before it even started, but Delaney held her hand up to shut him up.

"You think that's why I'm going to school? To get away from you and Sammy? Don't even get me on started on Dad, okay? I can't get away from a man that was never home to begin with," Delaney snapped, growing irritated with this age old argument. Dean never liked that Delaney had gone so far away for college. He was upset she went to college to begin with, wanting her to stay with him and Sam.

It was obvious Dean was growing irritated too because his green eyes were slowly turning darker, a sign that Dean was about to be in bear mode. Something that was rarely seen used on Delaney, but it came out when the girl pushed the right buttons. "He has a job to do, Delaney. He can't be home everyday now, can he? That's why you have Sammy and I."

"Dean, honestly, we all know I'm Dad's least favorite!" Delaney stated, throwing her hands in the air. "He doesn't like it that I actually voice my opinions and not keep quiet like you and Sammy. You don't have to listen to his every word."

"He's your father and you should listen to him! Dad has a lot going on since he has to play both parents for us. It's not easy."

"You want to know what's not easy, Dean? Not even knowing what mom looked like without having to look at a photo. You and Sam actually got to know Mom and I got fucked out of knowing her because she died before I could even blink!" Delaney ranted, her chest heaving from how angry she was getting. She'd never been this angry with Dean before, not even when he gave her the lecture on why going away for college was a bad idea.

Going to walk a bit away from the arguing siblings until they calmed down, Sam stopped when he noticed a woman with dark hair and a long white dress standing on the railing of the bridge to the right. "Um, do you guys see that?"

Dean and Delaney followed Sam's gaze to see the woman. The woman turned to look at the Winchester siblings with a pained expression before falling forward towards the dark water below. Dean and Sam pushed each other as they ran to the railing to look for her where, unfortunately, they couldn't find her.

Hearing a car starting up, Delaney looked to her right to see Dean's headlights on. "Dee, who's driving your car?"

Dean fumbled in his jeans pocket until he retrieved his car keys, holding it up for his brother and sister to see. The three shared a confused look until the car started moving forward on its own.

Sam grabbed Delaney by the arm and flung her behind them. "Run!" He yelled to his siblings before they all started darting away from the car that quickly started to speed up.

Realizing there was no way they could outrun a car, an idea popped into Dean's head. "Jump over the side!" He ordered his siblings before hopping over the side with them.

Dean, the ever unfortunate one of the group, wound up overjumping and landed in the mud below the bridge. Sam and Delaney dangled from the railing for a moment before finally being able to haul themselves over.

"Wow I should have did more in gym," Delaney groaned, massaging her aching biceps from holding her up for those few minutes.

Sam chuckled and looked down at Dean who was spitting mud out of his mouth. Serves him right, Delaney thought as she peered over with Sam. "You alright?" Sam called down to Dean who gave him a thumbs up.

A few minutes later, Dean had made his way back onto the bridge and looked over his car to make sure everything was okay with it.

"Your baby okay?" Sam asked, watching Dean do one more sweep of his car to be double sure it really was okay.

Dean shut the hood and leaned against it. "Yeah whatever she did to it, it seems alright now. That Constance chick is a BITCH!"

"Well, she doesn't want us digging around here. That's for sure," Sam added, turning to Delaney who still looked freaked. "Della, you okay?"

Delaney merely nodded, trying to muster a believable enough smile to assure her brothers she was fine. She'd like to keep the little flaw of having anxiety and it creeping up without warning from them both. The two would just treat her even more like a baby and that was the last thing Delaney needed.

"Now do you believe us?" Dean asked, spitting more mud out of his mouth.

"I just can't believe this is actually happening," Delaney mumbled, running a hand through her dark, wavy hair. Who knew demons actually existed? Vengeful ones at that. She thought that only happened in, like, the Exorcist or Paranormal Activity.

Sam wrapped an arm around Delaney's shoulders in a sort of hug, hoping it would help ease her nerves a bit. He knew how freaky this whole hunter business could be, so he expected this reaction from her. "What should we do now?"

Dean shrugged, flicking more mud off his clothes.

Sniffing the air, Sam gagged slightly. "Dude, you smell like a toilet."

About an hour later, the trio were standing in the room that their father had apparently rented for a whole month. Dean had wanted to rent the motel so he could shower but once they got there and found out their Dad had a room there, now Dean would be doing a lot more than showering.

Delaney sat down on the bed as the boys looked around the room. Picking up old food wrappings and looking at the salt circles that their dad had put around the front door of the motel room. She could only wonder where her dad was now if he wasn't here in the room with trash everywhere.

"Looks like he hasn't been here in a few days at least," Dean announced, tossing the old burger back onto the nightstand.

"He was trying to keep something from coming in," Sam stated, tossing the salt he had in his hand back onto the floor. He noticed Dean staring at clippings their dad taped all across the room. "What are you looking at?"

"The other victims of the highway. I really would love to know what these guys with different jobs and ages have in common," Dean wondered aloud.

Delaney looked around the walls as well and her eyes landed on something that stuck out to her. Standing up from her seat on the bed, she walked over to the wall that had the words WOMAN IN WHITE taped to the wall with a picture of a woman in white underneath. "Looks like Dad figured something out."

Dean and Sam both looked where Delaney was currently occupying her attention with. The two walked over and took a closer inspection of what was on the wall in front of them. "Dad found that same article we did. Constance Welch and she is the Woman in White."

"Okay but if we were dealing with this Woman in White, Dad would have found the corpse and burned it," Dean stated.

"Unless she has another weakness," Sam suggested, the gears in his head starting to turn with ideas.

"Knowing Dad he would want to dig around and make sure. Does it say where she's buried?"

Delaney leaned in close to the article, skimming it quick but shaking her had. "No, it says nothing."

"Maybe we can find out if we ask her husband. If he's still alive," Sam voiced, earning a nod from his siblings.

Dean looked over the article and other clippings of the Woman in White for another minute or two before stepping back. "Alright, Sammy, see if you can find out an address. I'm going to hop in the shower and clean up quick before we head back out."

Watching Dean make his way to the bathroom, Delaney followed after him and grabbed his hand which caused Dean to look down at her in confusion. "What's up, Della?"

"I'm sorry for going off on you earlier. I didn't mean what I said about all that crap. I really do appreciate all you and Sammy did and still do for me since Dad isn't around. I understand now why he was never around because I finally know what the family business is. I probably sounded like a brat," Delaney rambled, looking up at Dean with regret.Β

As much as she hated that Dean could act like her father, she now really did understand why he did it. He was the eldest of the three and he had to act like the boss sometimes if their dad wasn't there, feeling obligated to make sure his two younger siblings were safe. He may go a little hardball with it sometimes but at least it proves he cared.

Dean leaned down and kissed Delaney on the forehead. "It's okay, kiddo. I still love you. I should apologize too because you didn't deserve the harshness from me either."

"What happened to no chick flick moments?" Sam mused, smiling at the two finally making up. Dean and Delaney could fight like bears but it never lasted more than an hour before they were joking around with each other again.

"Shut up, Sammy," Dean said, rolling his eyes as Delaney giggled.

"Jerk."

"Bitch," Dean shot back, winking at Sam before retreating into the bathroom.

An hour later, Delaney and Sam walked onto the property of where Constance's husband lived. When Dean had left to grab them a bite to eat from the diner across from where they were, he ran into the sheriff they bumped into on the bridge. He knew that they weren't real marshals and that Delaney was no trainee. So Dean had made them both sneak out of the room and hide while he wound up going to the police department. That was exactly what Delaney feared would happen and she voiced that many times to Sam on the drive over to the property. By the annoyed expression Sam kept shooting her, she was sure he would tape her mouth shut if he had tape on him.

Sam lead Delaney to the front door and knocked on it three times. Once the man opened the door, Sam smiled politely at him. "Hi, are you Joseph Welch?"

"Yeah..." Joseph replied and followed Sam when he gestured for him to walk along with him and Delaney.

Sam handed Joseph a picture he had in his wallet. It was of their Dad, Sam, Dean and Delaney. They were standing in front of an entrance to a carnival. John had his arms wrapped around Sam and Dean while Delaney stood in front of him. Dean looked at the camera with what he called his "smolder" look, Sam looked like he was in the middle of saying something to John and Delaney was showing all her teeth, except the two front teeth that had fallen out that day, a big teddy bear was in her arms. Delaney remembered Dean spending forty five minutes trying to win that thing for her because he knew how badly she wanted it. She still had it to this day at her dorm room and it never left her bed.

"Yeah he's older but that's him," Joseph was saying to Sam, making Delaney snap back to reality. "Came about three or four days ago saying he was a reporter."

Delaney nodded as if their dad told the man the truth. "Yeah we're working on a story together," she lied. Sam had agreed to let her do some of the talking while they were here. She never did this kind of work before and she wanted to try it out and see how she would do. Delaney was always the more curious of the three and she would always take on a challenge.

"I don't know what the hell kind of story you're working on, not with the questions he asked me," Joseph said as the three continued to walk through the lot he lived on. "He asked me where she was buried."

"And where is that again?" Sam questioned, not even bothering to hold back on his curiosity. He was the professional one at this?

"I got to go through this twice?" Joseph asked, looking like he was slowly getting fed up with the conversation.

Delaney noticed Sam struggling to come up with a response so she gave one of her own. "It's just fact checking, you know? We want to make sure we are truthful about everything. If you don't mind telling us what you told John Winchester."

"She's buried by our old place down on Breckenridge," Joseph told them after a minute of silence.

"How come you moved?" Delaney asked

Joseph sighed and shook his head. "I'm not gonna live in the house where my children died. That would just be torture for me."

"Mr. Welch, did you ever marry again?" Sam asked as he turned to face Joseph. It was as if an idea had popped into his head. Delaney could tell from the determined expression that had taken over Sam's face.

"No way," Joseph immediately answered. "Constance was the love of my life, prettiest woman I ever known."

Delaney could tell Joseph still loved his wife, just by how he talked about her. She couldn't imagine how he must feel not having her by his side every day anymore. "So you had a happy marriage."

"Definitely," Joseph agreed, smiling softly at the thought of his marriage.

Sam and Delaney nodded at each other. "Well, that should do it. Thanks for your time."Β

Without another word, Delaney and Sam made their way over to the Impala. Delaney halted in getting into the car when she noticed Sam pause by his door. She shot him a confused look, silently asking him why he was stalling.

"Mr. Welch, have you heard of a Woman in White?" Sam called out to the man who was now a little bit away from them. Delaney looked at Sam as if he was crazy. Why was he asking this guy that question?

"A what?"

"A Woman in White, or sometimes a weeping woman. It's a ghost story. Well, it's more of a phenomenon really," Sam started, ditching Delaney by the car and walking back over to Joseph. "They're spirits. They've been sighted for hundreds of years in dozens of places, in Hawaii and Mexico, lately in Arizona, Indiana. All these are different women, you understand, but all share the same story."

Joseph stared at Sam as if he just sprouted about fifty heads. "Boy, I don't care much for nonsense."

"You see, when they were alive, their husbands were unfaithful to them. These women, basically suffering from temporary insanity, murdered their children," Sam went on as if Joseph never said anything.

Delaney honestly wished Sam would just shut up so they could leave. He was starting to sound like a mental patient. Now that Delaney knew about this world it didn't creep her out - okay it did, but not the way it would creep out this man who knew nothing about it - but she could tell Joseph was getting creeped and also insulted that Sam would insinuate that he had beat or mentally abused his wife.

"Then, once they realized what they had done, they took their own lives. So now their spirits are cursed, walking back roads and if they find an unfaithful man, they kill him."

"You think that has something to do with Constance, you smartass?" Joseph snapped, getting in Sam's face. "I mean, maybe I made some mistakes, but no matter what I did, Constance would never have killed our babies. Now, you get the hell out of here, and you don't come back."

Delaney rushed over and grabbed Sam's bicep. "I am so sorry about him. Sometimes he kind of just loses it. I'll get him home and give him meds. We won't bother you again, Joseph. Promise," she rushed out before dragging Sam back over to the car.

Once Joseph was out of earshot, Delaney punched Sam in the arm, hard. The old man yelping as he rubbed the sore spot on his arm. "What in the hell is wrong with you, Sam? Why would you say that shit to the man? He lost his wife. The love of his life."

"Couldn't have been if he cheated on her and was unfaithful," Sam said, chewing on his lower lip.

"Sam..."

Sam sighed and walked to the driver's side. "Let's just go."

As Sam and Delaney drove down the empty road, Sam's phone began going off in his pocket. Digging it out, he put it to his ear. "Dean?" he asked, causing Delaney to perk up. They hadn't heard from Dean in hours so she was glad to know he was okay. She scooted closer to Sam and placed her ear to the other end of the phone so she could hear.

"Fake 911 call, Sammy?" Dean teased, chuckling. "That's pretty illegal."

"It was all Delaney's idea not mine," Sam defended as Delaney grabbed the phone from him.

"You're welcome by the way," Delaney said, grinning at her brilliance.

"Della, put me on speaker," Dean ordered and Delaney complied. "Listen, we got to talk."

Sam nodded even though Dean couldn't see him. "Tell me about it. So the husband was unfaithful. We are dealing with a Woman in White. She's buried behind her old house where the children died."

"Sammy, would you shut up for a second?" Dean commanded, trying to get a word in.

"I can't figure out why Dad hasn't destroyed the corpse yet," Sam wondered aloud.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you, Sam. Dad left Jericho."

Sam and Delaney shared a look. "What? How do you know?"

Β "I've got his journal."

"He doesn't go anywhere without that thing," Sam said.

"Well, he did this time. It's the same old ex-marine crap when he wants to let us know where he's going," Dean explained, flipping through the pages aimlessly.

"So where is he then?" Delaney asked, even though she didn't know how she felt about seeing her dad again. Anytime the two of them got in the same room it was just toxic for everyone involved.

Dean sighed in frustration. "I don't know yet."

Before Sam could say anything, Delaney let out a scream as the Woman in White appeared in front of them on the highway. "SAMMY!"

Sam slammed on his break but he hit them too late because he went right through the woman. The tries screeched as the car came to a halt, the siblings breathing heavily from fright.

"Sam? Delaney?" Dean yelled, worried something had happened to his siblings.

Delaney and Sam sat there for a minute trying to catch their breaths. However, it was short lived as the woman appeared in the back seat. Delaney let out another scream, scrambling against the door.

"Take me home," Constance ordered, looking at Sam in the rearview mirror.

Delaney looked from Sam to Constance in the back. She had no idea what was going on or why Constance had appeared in the car with Delaney being there. She only appeared when the men were alone. Unless she didn't know they were siblings and she thought they were together. The thought made Delaney want to vomit.

"No," Sam refused, glaring at Constance in the rearview mirror.

Suddenly the doors started locking on their own accord, causing Delaney to panic. Grabbing on the lock on her side, she tried pulling it up but it was stuck where it was. "Sammy!" Delaney yelled, hoping her brother could do something. He was having the same difficulties on his side of the car as well. With the two distracted, the car started to drive itself.

Delaney and Sam watched out the windshield as the car drove itself to Constance's house, stopping right by the steps that led to the front porch. Sam could tell Delaney was freaking out, so he nudged her hand with his to remind her that he was there and he would make sure she was okay.

"Don't do this," Sam said to Constance, trying to reason with her.

"I can never go home," Constance stared at the house in front of them.

"You're scared to go home," Sam noted, realization dawning on him.

Delaney and Sam went to look behind them at Constance but she was gone. Suddenly, she appeared on top of Sam, pushing the seat back so he was laid down and she was straddling his lap.

"Oh God," Delaney squeaked, covering her face. She never wanted to see her brother in that kind of position. It was absolutely traumatizing. At least he wasn't naked.

Constance rocked her hips into Sam's. "Hold me. I'm so cold," she seductively told him, her boobs practically popping out of her dress.

"You can't kill me," Sam told her, trying to push her off him. "I'm not unfaithful. I've never been."

Constance pushed down onto Sam's crotch causing him to cry out. Delaney interpreted it to be pain though with how forcefully she pushed down. "You will be." Constance leaned down and planted her lips onto Sam's, having a one-sided make out session.

After a few seconds, Constance flickered and then vanished. Sam started to scream out in pain, clawing at his heart. Delaney rushed over to him, helping him unzip his jacket to see five holes in his shirt. Constance reappeared, her fingers showing as they pushed into Sam's chest.

"Delaney, duck!" Without hesitation, Delaney did as Dean had asked and heard gunshots. She saw Constance vanish for a second before reappearing again. This caused Dean to shot even more bullets at her, which she disappeared again.

Sam sat up, determination set onto his face. "I'm taking you home." He turned the keys and floored the car into the house. The crash caused Delaney to smack her head on the dashboard, only enough to cause her vision to go dizzy and possibly give her a concussion but not hard enough to knock her out.

"Sam! Della!" Dean tore his way into the house to check on the two in the car. "Are you okay?"

Sam nodded but they both glanced at Delaney who was holding her head. "Little one, you good?"

"Can you move?" Dean asked, pulling open the passenger door and helping Delaney out.

Delaney gripped onto Dean's shoulder as he held her up. "I'm just dizzy. Nothing broken," she replied, her grip tightening on her brother.

Constance walked over to the portrait of her and her kids and picked it up, looking at it as sadness pooled in her eyes. She looked up at the Winchester siblings, pain evident on her face. She threw the portrait to the ground and moved out of the way of a dresser flying across the floor. It knocked into the Winchester siblings, pinning them against the side of the Impala. The two boys tried to push it off, knowing Delaney would have no strength right now to do so, but it was if an invisible force was holding it against the three of them.

The lights in the house started to flicker rapidly, making Delaney's headache slightly worse, and water began to trickle down the stairs. At the top of the stairs, stood Constance's son and daughter.

"You've come home to use, mommy," the little children said in unison. They appeared at the bottom of the stairs before hugging their mother together. Constance screamed out in pain as she flickered quick and then vanished into a pool of water with her kids.

Finally, Sam and Dean were able to push the dresser off them. Delaney slumped a little more into the car, the room tilting. She watched as the two boys walked over to the puddle of water where Constance once stood with her children.

"So this is where she drowned her kids. That's why she could never come home. She was too scared to face them," Sam explained, looking from the puddle to Dean.

"You found her weak spot. Nice work, Sammy." Dean slapped Sam right where Constance had her fingers digging into his chest, causing Sam to instead of laugh like he wanted to, groan in pain.

"I wish I could say the same for you. What were you thinking shooting Casper in the face, you freak?" Sam joked.

Dean walked over to Delaney and wrapped her arm around his shoulders to help hold her up so she wouldn't be uncomfortable against the car anymore. "Saved your ass didn't it? What were you thinking doing that stunt with Della in the car?"

"Don't be mad at him, Dean. I'm fine don't worry. The most I am is concussed, but at least you guys finally got rid of that psycho bitch. It was traumatizing seeing Sam in that position with her. I wish this concussion came with amnesia of the past thirty minutes," Delaney teased, causing both of her brothers to laugh.

About an hour or so later, Dean pulled back onto the campus. There was a parking lot outside each dorm building so Dean would be able to drop her off right outside the dorm. When Dean stopped the car, Delaney frowned as she looked at her two brothers in front of her. This was one of the first times she actually loathed leaving her brothers to go to school. Usually she was upset but never to this extent. She would just get home sick thinking about them leaving her because it would be so quiet without them around, but then be okay after a few hours.

Getting out of the car, Delaney was handed her duffle bag by Dean who was obviously trying not to cry. He didn't want his sister to leave Sam and him. Even though Sam almost killed himself and Delaney with that car crash stunt, Dean had felt more at ease with Delaney being around them. He didn't have to constantly worry if she was in danger or not because he could see for himself if she was.

"Be good, baby girl," Dean told her, bringing Delaney in for a tight hug. Delaney buried her face into Dean's chest. He smelt like leather, cologne and the Impala. He smelt like home.

Sam jumped on them and joined the hug, causing his brother and sister to laugh at his attempt at a group hug. "We'll call you if we find Dad."

Delaney nodded as she pulled away from her brothers. "I love you, guys. I promise to call you before I fall asleep tonight." Giving her brothers a sad smile, she made her way up to her dorm. She walked a little quicker knowing Will would be there waiting for her. He had texted her two hours ago saying he was going to wait for her in the room so they could see each other the second she got back to campus.

When Delaney walked into her dorm room, she heard the shower running and figured Will was taking a shower. It was obvious her roommate wasn't there because her bag was gone and her bed was still made. Laying down on her bed, Delaney closed her eyes as she tried to unwind before Will came out from his shower. It didn't last long, however, as Delaney felt something drip onto her forehead.

Fluttering her eyes open, Delaney screamed as she saw Will on the ceiling. His stomach was cut across the middle, blood smearing the front of his t-shirt and he looked absolutely petrified. Delaney scrambled to her feet, not being able to tear her eyes away from the scene in front of her. Suddenly, the ceiling started to fill with fire, engulfing Will's body with it.

Her door broke down as her two brothers ran in. They looked up at the ceiling as the room started to fill with fire, dressers flaring up and homework being scorched by the heat.

"Delaney!" Dean yelled, rushing over to her frozen body and picking her up bridal style.

Once they were outside, they waited a few minutes for the ambulances and fire trucks to show up. By that point there were already a lot of people standing around, trying to figure out what was going on. Will and Delaney's mutual best friend, Darren Vanderbilt, was standing to the side talking to the cops. She was too distraught to say anything so he did all the talking for her, telling the cops whatever the Winchester boys had told him.

Delaney sat on the back of an ambulance, a gray blanket wrapped around her shoulders as she stared blankly in front of her. Dean was sat next to her and Sam watched people run back and forth trying to do their job and talk to as many people as possible. "I just can't believe he's gone."

Dean scooted closer to Delaney, wrapping her up in his arms. He knew how she felt because the same thing happened to their mother the night she died. So he knew how it felt to go through something like what just happened to Will. His heart broke for his sister because he knew how much Will had meant to Delaney. The kid was really good and it was rough knowing his life had to end the way it did.

"Delly, what if we knew what killed Will?" Sam offered and Dean shot his brother a glare. He knew what Sam was suggesting and he had thought they both agreed with their dad that Delaney would stay far away from the family business. One of them deserved to be normal and Delaney deserved that right. However, at the same time, Dean was starting to realize maybe that couldn't happen if the thing that happened to their mom, happened to Delaney's boyfriend as well. Maybe their family was cursed to be hunters. Plus, it was obvious they really couldn't leave her behind on her own anymore.

Delaney tore her eyes away from the bush she was staring at to look up at her brother. "What?"

"The thing that killed Will also killed Mom. That's what Dad is hunting and has been hunting since her death. It's a demon, but we aren't sure which demon. You should come along with Dean and I so you could help us find him," Sam suggested, stuffing his hands into his jacket pocket.

Delaney bit her lip as she thought over her brother's words. It would be nice to find the thing that killed their mom and her boyfriend so she could show it what it felt like to be killed. Granted, the demon would already be dead but at least she could send it back to Hell if it was possible.

"I guess we got work to do, boys."
