As the boat rocked, the more peaceful reading a book about Pirates was. Miyu was sitting on the opposite side of Zoro, who was trying to take a nap. "quit flipping the pages so loud" Miyu looked over at the guy who kept his eyes closed "Shhh! I'm reading" She shushed him, she put her index finger on her lips "I'm trying to take a nap." He shifted his arms, that were above his head, his typical napping position. "You always are, I'm not surprised." This time she flipped the page really loud to get on his nerves "Fine. Since I can't take a nap, might as well help with the map." He got up from laying down and walked outside where the others were.

Miyu smirked, crossed her legs, and kept reading her book, until her peacefulness was cut off from liquid? She looked down and saw water coming from the floor "Uh guys, sorry to interrupt but there's a leak on the floor" She said when she walked out, her book in her hand. "what?" Nami quickly jumped off the barrel to see what was leaking. 

"Miyu, what do you think?" Miyu looked up at Luffy, he held up a black flag that had a white skull on it with a straw hat, similar to Luffy's. "That doesn't look like a skull." It looked nothing like a skull, the mouth just looked like a lines. "Exactly my thoughts." She heard Zoro behind her "Hey now, don't disrespect my art skills!" Nami came out of the door "We're taking in water, what did you do?" She looked in Miyu's direction "me?" She pointed at her chest "yeah, what did you do?" She repeated herself "I did nothing, I was reading this book." She held it up to show Nami "the way your clanging that sword around, you must've broken something." Miyu responded with pointing her thumb towards Zoro "what?" He asked "He has three swords, Nami." 

"It wasn't me" "guys, guys guys. Okay, crew meeting" Luffy spoke up "not a crew" Zoro and Nami said at the same time "why are you with us if we're not a crew?" Miyu asked both of them, but was looking more in Zoro's way.  "Crew meetings!" Luffy repeated again, gaining everyone's attention. "We're gonna need a better ship to make it to the Grand Line. A real pirate ship. Worthy of the straw hat crew." Miyu snorted "Straw Hat crew? Luffy, I love you but that's the most ridiculous name ever." Luffy frowned, but then he smiled again "Well get used to it. It has a nice ring to it right?" He looked over at Zoro, he didn't look too surprised. "demon has a nice ring to it. Headgear? Not scary." 

Miyu turned her head to look at Zoro "why should it matter if you're not apart of the crew?" He looked back at her "I'm trying to make a point." He replied to her "Who said pirates have to be scary?" The three looked at each other, not knowing what to say. "The point is we need a new ship. So where do we get one?" Luffy asked. Nami got the map off of the floor "Our closest bet is the Gecko Islands.  We can probably get there before our ship sinks." Miyu nodded her head, "sounds good to me." 

"great job, navigator." He pointed at Nami "You're still not hanging that on my ship." She told Luffy, he smiled at her. "alright, Gecko Islands here we come!" Luffy shouted.

TIME SKIP

"you gotta be kidding me" Miyu sat on the wall where posters of wanted pirates were hung up, she looked up at Zoro with her hand covering the sun light "That clown was worth 15 million Berries. We should've  stuffed his head in a bag and brought it with us." Zoro looked down back at Miyu "what." She got up from the dusty floor, brushed her clothes, and responded to him. "yeah that's totally not suspicious." 

"I killed many, many,  pirates and yet never got arrested." Zoro tilted  his head "you did by Captain Morgan" Zoro rolled his eyes "That's not the point."  

Luffy got up from laying on the ground, he had sand all over his back side. "Luffy, turn around real quick" He did, she moved her hand up and down his back, he let out a few laughs, yeah, hes ticklish. "What was that for?" "you. laying on sand equals sand all over you" 

Nami came out of whatever she was doing "hey! got us a ship?" Nami smiled at him "Working on it. Did you push the sloop out like I told you?" Miyu leaned on the rocky walls, listening to their interaction. "Yeah. No marines are gonna be following us here." "we'll see about that." Miyu believes Marines will be after them, after they beat Captain Morgan. 

"well, even if they do, we won't be staying here too long."She glanced at Miyu, then back at Luffy. "turns out Syrup Village is known for their ship building" "wheres that at?" Miyu asked, she heard of the place before but never took interest. "it's in Gecko Island." Miyu nodded her head at Nami. "Well, what are we waiting for then?" 

Luffy walked away, Nami followed while Miyu waited for Zoro. "What are you waiting for?" She stopped leaning on the wall "I need to do something." He grabbed the wanted poster of Buggy, crumbled it, then threw it on the floor. "Stupid clown." he mumbled angrily "you need Berries that bad, huh?" They both walked in the same motion, at the same time "Yes, I need berries." 

AT SYRUP VILLAGE

They four were walking on the docks, where multiple people were working on multiple ships. "these are beautiful" Miyu admitted, all of the boats looked clean, fresh and nice, she wanted all of them to herself. "How much do these cost?" Zoro queried "If you have to ask, you can't afford it." "Okay so, we need to get one with a very, very, impressive figurehead." Luffy explained the type of boat he wanted "or no head at all" Miyu shrugged at her idea, maybe the other pirates won't think they were going for the Grand Line?

"no no, we need a head. Pirates rules." Luffy and Nami were in the front, guiding Miyu and Zoro where to walk, she looked over at Zoro "they talk too much" She told him as quiet as she could "I agree." Miyu smiled at him, the sunlight highlighted his face well.

"There's only four of us, we don't need a big ship" Nami notified the Captain "four of us right now." "Well, unless you find another weird, desperate soul to help us."  "speak for yourself" Zoro replied to the ginger woman, she looked behind at him "listen.  We are going to need something a little less flashy if we want to sneak out of here." Luffy stopped in his tracks, off guard on what she said. 

"you want to steal a ship?" This time Miyu was on Nami's side, they had no berries to afford "we don't have money luffy, how are we going to buy a ship?" Luffy looked at Miyu in disbelief "I don't know, but we aren't stealing." Miyu followed after Luffy, Zoro was still with Nami.

"How about that ship?" She pointed to a ship that had a deer at the front "eh.. not what I'm looking for." He kept on declining every ship she pointed at, at this point it was getting ridiculous. 

"This is the one." she looked at Luffy's direction, a big ship with a sheep in front "holy shit, you know what?" Luffy turned his head "what?" "It resembles you! We should get it" Luffy laughed, they walked up to the ship to get a closer look. Luffy ran up the steps, Miyu shortly behind him "It's perfect!" Luffy told her "yeah I know, looking in the mirror eh?"

Luffy reached up to touch the sheep on the chin "real beauty huh?'A male voice spoke from above "you can talk?" Luffy stupidly asked the boat "Really Luffy?" Miyu looked at him, why was she even friends with him? "No! over here!" She looked where the voice was coming from, a dark skinned male who had short dreadlocks. Miyu waved at him, he waved back. "Yo. This ship is amazing!" The male rubbed his clothe over the boat, cleaning it. 

"What can you tell me about her?" Luffy asked him, the male looked up at the sheep "Caravel class, top of the line.  Ninety-six feet of pure luxery. Whipstaff rudder, full gallery. Cannon desks fore and aft" He chef kissed the air"You sure know your stuff!" Miyu walked down one step to get a closer look at him "I know!" "is she fast?" "the fastest"

"shes perfect!" Luffy touched the sheep again "you can say that again." Miyu looked down at the steps, only to see Nami and Zoro walking towards them "There you are" 

"We found the ship!" Miyu shouted at them so they could hear her more clearly "this guy will sell it to us" Luffy walked down the steps, Miyu followed behind him "uh wait, what?" he got off the ship "yeah! the ship, we'll take it" He bit his lips, he had a color scheme going on with his clothes, they all matched. "Technically shes not for sale." He informed, Miyu scoffed, she turned around to look at the others "and technically... I'm not a salesman." Miyu scratched the back of her neck, confused.

"do you even work here?" Nami questioned "of course I do. I'm Chief Technician. In charge of encrustation  removal and aviary waste eradication." He explained who he was "uhhhh..." Miyu did not understand all the nerd talk, apparently Luffy didn't either. "He scrubs  barnacle  and cleans bird shit" Zoro answered, how, out of everyone, did he know what that meant.

" he can't help us" Nami crossed her arms over her blue  shirt "wait wait wait!" he got Nami's attention again "I can help you. The owner of this ship just happens to be my closest friend in the world." Miyu smirked at him, maybe they will get to have the ship. "your friend owns this ship?" "Not just this one, she owns the whole shipyard. Shes rich rich." He explained.

"I'm sure you could strike a deal with her." Luffy smiled brightly, he jumped slightly while holding on his straw hat "let's go then"

I love  usopp sm, ever since he showed up the show got WAY BETTER. I love him istg, he and kaya deserve eachother.
