Akira Pov

The pillow felt so comfortable under your head that you couldn't help but snuggle your face into the fluffy pillow, which smells so divine in your nostrils. Your arm was tightly embracing it, and you didn't want to wake up from your delightful dream of cuddling up with your knight on the beach with the breeze blowing through your hairs. You were enveloped by varied sensations of freedom: love and affection.

You heard your name faintly whispered in the wind, but you couldn't open your eyes. You don't want to leave the blissful state you're in right now.

A soothing voice whispers in your ear, "Akira...sweetheart...Akira. Wakey..wakey." You felt warm hands gently caressing your mahogany locks from your face...caressing your rose cheeks...but your floating body refused to heed to the reality of your consciousness and...after five minutes of contentedly enjoying your universe...on your magical beach setting. Your hand had a mind of its own as it caressed the soft yet firm contours of your pillow, relishing the heat of the folds...

Until your mind registered a return to reality when a sharp intake of breath drew your attention, your eyes flew open, and your mind was still a little dazed. Your eyes widen in horror as you realize what position you've found yourself in. Still, in your soulmate's embrace, your hand was cheekily inside his sweatshirt, stroking his strong six-pack abs with his hand holding your hand in position, preventing it from wandering off into uncharted territory.

Your eyes widen as you slowly raise your flustered face and lock gazes with your smirking soulmate's equally flustered face.

With a horrified expression on your face, you instantly sit up "Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry, Jhope... I imagined you were my soft pillow." You begin to whimper in embarrassment. You are covering your flustered face with both of your hands, peeking through your fingers at him.

Jhope chuckled softly, but his eyes had an undefine expression as he looked into your nervous eyes "It's fine, Akira...thank you for supporting me...to at least sleep. I appreciate it a lot...even if I don't deserve it." He was still resting backwards on the pillows, briefly closing his eyes. You gazed at him and realized that your soulmate was in desperate need of you. You're not sure why, but you're glad you could be there for him.

You twisted your entire body to face him, cautiously taking his hands in yours, amazed that he didn't pull away from you.

"Jhope... You... You deserve to be happy, and I'm delighted I could assist with that." You smile a little as his brow furrows and his eyes widen as he looks at you. He pushed himself up into a sitting position, clearing his throat lightly and whispering in a hoarse voice, "Akira... I'm really sorry for causing you so much sorrow over the last few weeks. I know it will be tough for you to forgive me... I completely understand. I treated you with contempt and unfairness." He winced, a guilty expression on his face "My actions are not an excuse Akira... You have such a pure soul and a big heart...and...and I don't deserve you." A crack in his voice was detected.

You were caught off guard by his eyes, which told volumes about his genuineness. "Jhope...you've constantly wounded me. I wanted to quit up big time on so many occasions...but I couldn't. I...I need you, Jhope...but I also understand that you need time to accept the bonding. We simply don't have enough time on our hands." You say quietly. He sighed heavily and brushed over his eyes.

"Akira, I'm aware of it...but...I'm scared-" he stammered as he looked into your sad eyes. He is tired of hurting you, even if his feelings for you have changed...he cannot express it, especially if the connection was not completed. It will be pointless to tell you that the strings will decide your FATE when completion occurs.

Akira sighs and tenderly caresses his knuckles, "Jhope...I promised you I'd never force you to accept something you're terrified of... I'm not sure if I'll be able to deal with a weakening heart." Your eyes begin to sting as you realize your hour of bliss is coming to an end. Your soulmate is still hesitant to bond. He is scared of the process, but FATE exploited every minute, especially this hour, to increase your affection for him. 

You know he'll deny the bond until the inevitable happens. You turned your head so he wouldn't notice your teary eyes. For the time being, you must accept the inevitable. His heart and mind are not yet ready to welcome you, but his body wants you. You know deep down that you wish to him just as bad.  Right now you are well aware of his fear, but being with him fill you with so much joy and pleasure  without him being a "prat."

Jhope knew he had to suppress his feelings for you with all his power, and FATE took advantage of this hour to accelerate his affection. Right now, he does have a strong urge to kiss you, but he knows that kissing you would be the worst mistake he has ever made, especially in the place you are in right now. He doesn't want to hurt you anymore, but he continues to do so.

" Akira?..." He softly called out your name, and when you turned to face him, his breath caught in his throat. You appear sad, and tears well up in your eyes. Jhope's heart began to thump erratically in his chest. What's the matter with him? With a psychotic saseang waiting for him, how can he enjoy the comfort of a soulmate? He'll put her in grave danger. Saseangs kill soulmates.

"Yeah!" You looked down at your hands, not daring to look at him for too long.

"C...can we complete the bond by Wednesday? I'm sorry...for being such a "prat." Please give me time...so it's difficult for me Akira..but I guarantee you now that if we "yellow string," I would be present as your best friend in your life, supporting you and assisting you in difficult moments." He gives you a serious gaze.

You raised your head and met his gaze. Is he for real? Is he serious? Will he indeed follow through on it? You don't mind being "yellow-stringed" as long as the bonding is complete and both of you are safe and healthy out of harm's way and FATE'S wrath.

Your eyes widen, "Y...you're willing to be my friend... You're not going to push me away?" Your jaw practically dropped to the ground. You assumed he would altogether reject you and eliminate you out of his life. You're too terrified to question his feelings for you or Dove at this point. Without the completion, you'll constantly be insecure about your soulmate and his love for his ex.

Jhope sensed the surprise emotion flowing through you. It made him feel ashamed and guilty. You are so stunning, and his sudden urge to do what he desires caused him to berate himself. Your very presence made him flustered. Being around you will ruin him. He tries to stay away from you since he knows you are both physically attracted to each other. It's undeniable, yet you can't succumb to its temptation. He is aware that he will reach a breaking point if he is in your presence for an extended period of time. Even the boys are aware of his desires for you.

"Yes, I'm going to be your friend...if we're both blue-stringed, the ball is in your court. If...if you decide to... err, " he seemed conflicted, " settle with someone else...I will let you free...to register as a Tarnished and I would never stand in your way Akira "But Jhope knew deep down that seeing you with someone else with the protective string would be too much for him. Blue-stringed soulmates are inseparable, just as red gold is inseparable the only difference the red gold string is like marriage. You are married in the eyes of the system. Unable to separate or live without each other.

You were taken aback. Can't Jhope tell you that you love him and will always choose him...but you don't know him? He'll run to the mountains. It would be best for you to give him a break for the time being and let him enjoy his Tokyo performance without your overwhelming, distracting presence. Hopefully, no one is hurt during the performances. Do- Yun informed that if you are paired as hotel roommates, she will text you. You can't wait to learn more about her. You're a big fan of the Bells. However, being continuously around them will cause your soulmate unnecessary distress.

You will give him the space he requires in Tokyo until Wednesday. Until then, you'll focus on learning more about your past.

You rose from your bed, brushed your hair into a decent style, and nodded in his inquisitive eyes with a sad, but understanding grin.

"Thank you, Jhope, for your openness. I'd love to be friends with you; having you in my life is better than having nothing...but we'll just have to wait until Wednesday. Hopefully, nothing bad will happen to us by then. Jhope, be careful." You gave a small smile and proceeded to leave the room. You've been in here for about an hour now. Right now, you need to be alone—just a moment to think.

When you caught sight of a startling movement, your breath hitched in your throat. Jhope jumped off the bed and unexpectedly wrapped his arms around you, back hugging you. His warm breath tickled your skin. You turned your head slowly as his head nestled in the folds of your neck. You enjoy his skin-to-skin contact with yours. He smells divine...blushing at your dream about your soulmate.

"Akira... ," he says gently.

You took a long breath and asked, softly, with your eyes set on his, "Yeah?" You respond quietly. You both realized how the mood seemed to change as your emotions changed.

"Please don't give up on me yet..." he murmured as he turned you around in his arms and cupped your face with his warm hand, turning your face up towards him. His breath was fanning your face, and you could feel the desire welling up in both of you to just give in to the temptation, You couldn't look away from each other at that moment.

The energy in the air was tangible. Your eyes were locked into one another without your being aware of FATE's involvement. You could feel his heartbeat against your skin as you snaked your arms around his waist. As your lips met halfway, one of his arms gripped you securely against him, while his other hand was entangled in your long hair. You both felt like this kiss might be your last as you gave yourselves over to a hot make-out session.

You were clinging to him while your body felt like jello. Jhope's kisses were passionate and profound. You cherish every second of his passionate kisses. You were both panting for oxygen after a few minutes. As you stared intensely into each other's eyes, your hearts pounded erratically as one. Recognizing that you both want each other physically, but you can't give in till you know what your strings are. It will be disastrous for both of your health.

His forehead was against yours as he quietly said, "Akira. ..Oh,my goodness! I really want to be with you...but we can't give in to this urge. It will make our things more complicated, and I will never do that to you... Without an emotional connection, physical love is meaningless " You interrupted his confession.

You instantly place your forefinger on his swollen lips, "Jhope...I want to be with you as well...but you are right. It will further complicate matters before the bond is completed. I want you to love me with all of your heart, soul, and body." You stroked his cheek as he looked into your loving eyes. You instantly know he is not immune to you, but you'll let him confess first.

You felt yourself smile into the sweet kiss as Jhope's lips briefly pecked yours as a goodbye kiss. Jhope is a "hot" kisser, yet he is so stubborn. Suddenly, the door opened, and a "small kitten" stared at you with wide interest and a big smirk on his face, seeing you tightly wrapped in each other's arms. Yoongi's adorable face was adorned with a mischievous grin. You just rolled your eyes, knowing that all of the Hyungs will be briefed of your exposure very soon.

You and Jhope both stepped out of your tight embrace and turned to face the door, flushed. You hope Yoongi doesn't get all the wrong ideas or witness the small make-out session. Gosh, no! That will be so embarrassing.

Jhope close his eyes for a second, shook his head and sighed loudly, "Come in, Yoongi..." You could only press your lips together, suppressing a smile in response to Jhope's slight irritation in his voice. Yoongi seems indifferent by the obvious emotions on Jhopes' face. Yoongi's gaze shifted to yours, his eyes indicating that nothing positive is flowing out, and you know you'll never be able to escape your tiny boss.

"Oh, I'm sorry...err...the girls are restless. They're waiting for Akira to come over and enjoy the last 30 minutes with them. Funsize and Twinkies are anxious. And, as you know, I have my soulmate, girl. I'll do whatever it takes to make her happy. Please go to them, Akira They've been bugging me to come and wake you up for about an hour now, and it's driving us insane." He looks at you with pleading eyes. You chuckle a little and gaze at Hobi, who appears defeated. Yoongi has excellent timing. Not!

"Jhope, take care of yourself. I'll see you later "You grin, pat his muscular chest, and spin around to avoid Yoongis' gaze and the knowing gleam in his eyes. You swiftly slid by Yoongi to meet the overjoyed soulmates outside at the door, who were squealing with delight and you had to calm them down. They were dragging you to the VIP  areas by linking arms with them.

"We want to know everything you and our sunshine were up to in that room," Funsize chuckled gently.

Twinkies snicker quietly next to you as you groan. These two Bells will be a handful in your life, but you've grown to adore them.

"That's not what happened "As you disappeared inside the middle section, you whispered with a flushed face. The girls couldn't stop laughing and didn't trust a word you said...

......Meanwhile...

Jhope -pov

"Ugh , Yoongi, nothing happened. It was nothing more than a simple hug...jeez!" Jhope exasperatedly waves his hand.

Yoongi makes a deadpan expression at him. "Oh, really...you were cuddling up in a very intimate manner an hour ago, and now you're hugging her again...Hobi. It appears that the two of you just finished a rigorous lip workout. Look how swollen are your lips. So, don't you? "Ugh!  Yoongi " me!"

"Why is it so difficult to get rid of you?" Jhope chuckles. "You're always in situations where you shouldn't be and just think what you want."

Yoongi smiled as he patted Hobi's shoulders and said, "You know you can't get rid of your brother." A cat has nine lives."

"Yeah right, come on, let's quickly use the half-hour to play chess," Jhope said quietly. "I noticed a lovely chess set inside."

Jhope approached the door, but Yoongi caught him by his sleeve and asked, "Hobi...are you truly ok?" His eyes are a little concerned.

"I'm so scared, Yoongi," he said, shaking his head. " The bonding process terrifies me more than needles, yet I'd still want to straighten things out with Akira, but that saseang has escaped from the psyche. I'm just hoping to make it out of Tokyo alive, Yoongi-hyung."

Jhope's eyes are watchful. That saseang terrified him, and it felt like being trapped within a psychological thriller.

Yoongi grins, "You're safe, and the bonding process is magical...just relax and let FATE do the rest, Jhope. Akira is adorable, and she has a kind heart, and I'm sure you're already aware of it. When I asked her to be here for you, she was willing to be rejected again. You need her, Jhope. I observed you two together."

"I know Yoongi...and thank you. Even if you broke your promises by not interfering...once more." Yoongi snorted, and he shook his head."Don't hold your breath waiting for me to stop. If you become as clingy as Jin-Hyung, I'll call it quits."

"Oh my goodness...the Lord forbid!! I'm not going down that road." Hobi wrinkled his eyebrows in disgust. Jin usually provided some amusement for the group, especially when he was apart from his soulmate for an extended period.

Yoongi laughs as he walks to the door. Jhope scanned the room, ensuring nothing was left behind until he noticed a golden sleeper earring on the bed. He hurriedly grabbed it and followed Yoongi, who was already waiting for him outside the door.

The Bangtan boys were playing King of Cash inside the VIP Area, and there was laughter all around. Jin was squealing loudly because Jimin was the bank and had discreetly given Jungkook extra money while he was losing a lot of money. While witnessing the bantering and arguing bunch, the girls smiled.

Namjoon smiles, "The girls must play together next time. Because Jimin is a natural cheater, Akira must be the bank." Jimin looked betrayed by the lack of confidence, and the rest all agreed.

With startled eyes, Jimin said, "What...Jungkook made a legitimate bank loan?"

He smirked at you as you smiled at him. You chuckle at his antics.

"Yeah...but I noticed you giving him additional cash... you maknaes are all in this together," Namjoon scoffs.

" Just accept the fact that you lost the game, Hyung. You were completely outplayed." Jungkook fired back.

Namjoon scoffs as Jin gives him a friendly side hug and says, "You'll win the next time. Today is not your day."The groups' could hear snickers, but their leader is unimpressed.

"There won't be the next time...Joonie-Hyung is the worst in English games, Just keep to that strategic "Chinese xiangqi "chess game. You better at it." Taehyung grinned.

The girls were in stitches. These guys can bicker and fight, but they sincerely watch out for one another when they support one another. You softly smile at the group dynamics.

The two soulmates then took you to the two long sofas in front of the television screen and forced you to lie down in the centre, away from the bickering boys, with the two of them alongside you.

"Let's have some girlie time," Twinkies exclaim. She brought some finger foods for you to chew on.

They were both lying on the side facing you who groans, you are well aware of what they wanted to hear, and you are unwilling to disclose anything about your time spent in the presence of your soulmate.

"Come on, Akira...your guys' soulmate journey is so exciting...full of angst and heartbreak!'

Funsize is pouting "It's incredibly romantic. Our journeys are boring!"

While Twinkies giggled, you stared blankly into Funsize's large doe eyes.

"Interesting and romantic? Guys, I don't think you realize how many tears I've wept over the last three weeks. There is nothing more heartbreaking than fighting a loosing battle..." you cast a distant glance at them," FATE handed me a soulmate who despises the bonding system. I'm not even sure where I stand with him, but I'll give him time to adjust" With a melancholy expression on your face, you murmur.

Funsize brush your hair away from your face, "Please don't give up on him. He is a nice guy; he is hopeful, and when he loves, he loves passionately. You should observe his interactions with his parents and sister. They even have sibling dates. My brother loves me, but he also bullies me a lot...so"

"I'm not sure whether you're familiar with the kpop girl group Blackpink," Twinkies grin.

Your eyes widen, "I believe I heard a tune called Boombayah! It's very catchy. But I don't know any of the members."

"Well, I'm a twin!" Twinkies informed you.

"Really?' You gasped. You wouldn't have guessed it.

"Yeah, and my sister is Jisoo...a member of the band. We used to twin switch a lot, and that is how I met the man of my dreams but at the same time lost him..."Twinkie's eyes became sorrowful, and you wondered how she bonded with the savage member.

"Oh my goodness...you mean Yoongi?" you realized that every soulmate story had a surprise ending.

"Yes, my sister twisted her foot, and we twin switched, and I went to the kpop camp in her place...I met Yoongi there, but everyone mistook me for Jisoo. The camp was part of the evaluation process, and I was required to assist my sister ..."she told you her journey of heartbreak for four years. When he found out about it he rejected her. 

"Wow, that was very sad. Yoongi is so adorable," you exclaimed, but you knew that Yoongi is savage and can be blunt, but his love for Twinkies is evident.

"Not when he is tricked. He's pretty frightening and straightforward. He refuses to love me, and we never activated the bond for four months." She murmured. When she remembered, you could tell how much it pained her.

"Samiya and I couldn't figure out why Yoongi was running so many trails with his soul mark. He was usually depressed and melancholy...until he confessed there at Billboard Awards in the United States." Funsize informed you, and Twinkies gave the nod. During that time in the United States, events took an unexpected turn, and FATE intervened.

Sadly, Twinkies smile. " After the rejection, I learnt that Yoongi had asked one of the Blackpink members out while I was studying in the United States. I was in utter shock. It was all a misunderstanding, as it turned out... For four years and four months, I've never cried so much for a boy. I loved him so much that the prospect of losing him made me want to die...it is worthwhile to believe and have confidence that destiny will find you...so my advice is...don't lose heart."

You sigh dejectedly, "It's challenging to want a guy who can't make up his mind... to complete the bonding. Yoongi forced us to activate the bond, and now we're compelled to complete it, and Jhope is far from prepared...he said he'd do it...but I know is terrified'

"Kira believe us...Jhope is madly in love with you," Funsize says, looking you in the eyes." As soulmates who went through the bonding process, we feel you and Jhope will be a passionate couple...don't act shocked. Your eyes speak for themselves." You simply shook your head.

"I'm not sure, guys. It's best if I don't spend too much time in your company. Jhope wants distance from me, and I give it to him!" You told them.

"What!!!" they exclaim as they glance at you. No!!"

"I don't care...we've had to hang out Kira...Samiya is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. We're going to see what Tokyo has to offer. Our casino hotel will be a five-star resort. We'll dress up and take in the sights, especially if the boys are attending interviews." Funzise exclaimed.

"We'll see what happens. I already have plans?' You smile when you think of Hanbin.

"With whom?" Funsize asked, her brow wrinkled.

When you think of your worker bee buddies, you smile and say, "Hanbin-Oppa and Do-Yun -unnie." You hadn't even thought about Hanbin, and you felt a twinge of guilt because you were so engaged in your soulmate.

"No, call it off." Our group is more exciting. Bangtan is amusing; you'll want to spend more time with them." Twinkies exclaimed with glee.

"All well, we'll see." You notice them with smirks on their faces looking to the side. Yoongi and Jhope were there. Your heart is pounding in your chest. You can never learn to adjust to the presence of your soulmate, and he unnerves you.

"Olalala..loverboy." Funsize murmur with a soft giggle. Twinkies face beams at the sight of Yoongi.

Yoongi's gaze was fixed on his partner, and you could sense the underlying emotions. They wish to spend time together. Funsize grinned broadly. She and Taehyung hung out the entire time, knowing it was their time with their friends now.

Yoongi smiles.

"Hello, ladies! Sejin informed us that we would be arriving soon. So gather your belongings and make sure you don't forget anything." He and Jhope couldn't even play a single game of chess.

Your eyes widen as you realize your belongings are still in your compartment. You briefly connect gazes with Jhope, who is staring at you with an undefined emotion in his eyes. You both tapped into your emotions and recalled the kisses you shared. That made you flush blood red, and that had the soulmates beside you in stitches.

"Oh my goodness!!! Get a room, you two." A good-natured Funsize giggle. While she was laughing, you playfully shoved her backwards. Fortunately, the group on the far side didn't notice because they were still playing the game.

"They've already come from a room!!" Yoongi states dryly. He stood behind his soulmate, stroking her beautiful hair.

"You two need to stop. It's not funny!" You look at them with stink eyes, and Jhope simply rolls his eyes at the group. You rose from your reclined position as Jhope extended his hand to assist you. Your face was flushed, and you grabbed his hand, which raised you up real quick. You thank him quietly, and the two girls snicker at your awkwardness.

JHope placed something discretely in your hand. It was your golden sleeper earring. Your eyes widen because you were completely unaware that you had lost it. You thanked him, and he nodded with a smirk.

You look at the girls and tell them you'll see them later. You swiftly greeted your soulmate quietly, and the group and speed walked to the managers' section. You hope Ms Cheong doesn't ask any questions...but fortunately, most of the managers know you're buddies with the guys. You wondered if Ms Cheong was aware of your soulmate status.

The crew had arrived at their destination. The management made certain that everything was in order for the Bangtan guys. The stylist separated the guys into two groups in the restroom and bedroom to ensure that they looked acceptable for the Japanese press who would be waiting for them at the airport.

When the plane touched down. You were relieved, but your heart was hammering, and for the first time in seven years, you were back in your birthplace...

What surprises will Tokyo have in store for you...only time will tell.
