Sam's Outfit + Suitcase

I was sitting in Alex's room hanging out with him when Penelope burst in and said, "Sam! You have five minutes to go up to your apartment and pack!"

"What? Pack for what?", I asked.

"We're going to San Diego for a few days, and you need to come with us to mediate between Alex and Elena", Penelope said.

"But Alex and I just made up. I don't wanna ruin things between us again", I said.

"It'll be fine. Besides, I already ran through it with Schneider and he said it's okay. Now, the car is packed and we're leaving in five minutes. Alex go upstairs with her to help her pack. Now, go, go, go!", Penelope said.

Alex and I went through his window and ran up the fire escape to my bedroom.

"How many days are we gonna be there?", I asked Alex.

"Like three. There's a pool and stuff, so bring a swimsuit", he said.

"Okay, cool", I replied.

"Four minutes!", Penelope shouted up to us.

"Damnit!", I shouted.

"Alex, go into my bathroom, grab my makeup bag, my hair dryer, my hairbrush, my curling wand, my glasses, my contact case and solution, my retainer, and my little caddy of travel shower stuff. Ooh and tampons just in case!", I said.

"There's no way I'm gonna remember that", he said.

"Just go!", I said.

I grabbed my tie-dyed suitcase, and I filled it with enough clothes and underwear and bras and stuff for three days, my birkenstocks, two swimsuits, my phone charger, and two books.

Alex stumbled out of my bathroom with all of the stuff I asked him to grab.

"Oh my gosh! You got it all! I'm so proud of you!", I said.

"One minute!", Penelope shouted.

"Just put all of it in my bag, wherever there's space. I don't even care", I said.

We finally got my stuff all packed just as Penelope shouted, "Times up!".

I grabbed my phone and AirPods, and my suitcase and was all ready to go.

A few minutes later, we were all packed into the car, with me smushed in the back between Alex and Elena.

They were fighting and yelling at one another.

I was trying to just tune them out and listen to music until the yelling got unbearable, so I of course had to join in.

A few minutes later, we were stuck in even worse traffic.

"Lupe... I think we should have taken another way to San Diego", Lydia groaned.

"Really, Mami? Because I picked this route just so we can sit next to the power plant that looks like boobs for half an hour", Penelope yelled.

She took a deep breath and sighed, "It's okay, it's all gonna be worth it".

The rest of the car ride was as bad as the first twenty minutes and it included lots more yelling and Elena throwing up, and to be honest Lydia was totally right. Elena's throwing up noises were freaking hilarious.

The hotel was super nice and so was our room, although to get the room Penelope used three different types of discounts, didn't put Lydia down as a guest, and made it so that Elena, Alex, and I were triplets. Fun times.

Alex and I sat on the bed together and turned on HBO, since the hotel had it and we didn't usually get to watch it at home.

"Guys, here come check this out. We have a view of the pool!", Penelope said.

Alex, Elena, and I rushed to the window.

"Dang. That's a lot of bikinis", Alex said, making me roll my eyes.

"Don't forget the talk we had about respecting women", Penelope said.

"Yeah,Yeah, Yeah. There's hearts behind the boobs", Alex said, which made me cross my arms over my chest and roll my eyes.

"Those are some big hearts", Elena said, smirking.

"Woah! That lifeguard out there looks exactly like Timothée Chalamet", I said,teasing Alex.

"Hey! I'm way hotter than that!", Alex protested.

"Hmmm.... I don't think so", I said.

Our conversation was interrupted when Penelope's brother Tito arrived.

I was introduced to him, and then after a little while of conversation, we all took turns in the bathroom getting ready to go to the pool, as Tito had booked a cabana for us.

Sam's Outfit

Tito ended up having to go do a business thing, and Elena had decided to stay in the room and study, so it ended up just being Lydia, Penelope, Alex, and I at the pool.

Alex had immediately gotten into the pool, and Penelope had immediately gotten into the hot tub, leaving Lydia and I sitting under the cabana.

"So, how are things with you and Alex?", she asked me.

"I actually don't know. After the whole Instagram thing, we broke up and then he apologized and we made up. But I don't know if we're like back together or just friends. I mean, we've hung out a lot but I don't know if it was as friends or as boyfriend and girlfriend", I said.

"I can tell that he wants you to be his girlfriend if you're not already, although I've been saying that since you were eleven. If you're not boyfriend and girlfriend already, by the end of this trip you will be", Lydia replied.

I was about to reply, when Alex came over and dragged me to the pool.

"Oh come on! I was having a good conversation! And I made a really good pool playlist!", I protested.

"You can talk to my abuelita anytime, and nobody wants to hear Kacey Musgraves and Billie Eilish or whatever you put on that playlist", he said.

"Ughh fine. This isn't even a good swimsuit for swimming though! I should have worn my other one", I said.

"If it's not a swimsuit for swimming, than what's it for?", he asked.

"It's for lounging by the water. And it makes my boobs look good", I said.

"Yeah it does", he said, looking me up and down.

"Perv!", I said, pushing him into the pool.

I jumped in the pool after him and we spent the rest of the afternoon swimming.

After we were finished at the pool, we all went back to the room to get dressed for dinner. Tito was taking us to a super nice restaurant on a boat. I'd protested and told him to just take his family and that I'd stay back in the room, but he'd insisted on me joining them.

Sam's Outfit

After I was done showering and stuff, I dried and curled my hair. I also did my makeup all nice and got into a pretty sundress. Since I'd only had five minutes to pack, I didn't bring a strapless bra, so my dress showed the top of my bra and my bra straps, so I layered a jean jacket over it so it wouldn't show. I also put my converse on since I didn't have any other shoes that weren't my birks.

Once we got to the restaurant, we were sat at a round table and were instructed by Tito to order whatever we wanted.

Once we were done eating, and Penelope and Tito had kind of made up, Alex announced, "I'm gonna go out to the deck and take some pics for my Insta".

"Yeah it's been ten minutes. People may start believing that you have a life", Elena replied.

Elena and I ended up going out there with Alex, Elena because Penelope told her to and me because Alex needed someone to get his good angles.

He vlogged for a little while, and then he instructed Elena to take a picture of him and I together.

"Why? Wouldn't you rather have a picture of just you for your followers?", I asked.

"No. Get over here", he replied.

He put his arm around me.

"Don't grab my boob", I said, jokingly.

Elena took a few pictures of us together, and then Alex and I picked one that we both liked for him to post.

We stood on the ship and looked over the water.

"So, why did you really want a picture of us together?", I asked.

"Jeez, can't a guy just want a picture of him and his girlfriend to post and to use as his phone background?", Alex said.

"Girlfriend?", I asked.

"If that okay", he replied.

I answered by kissing him.

Believe it or not, Lydia was right when she said that Alex and I would be boyfriend and girlfriend by the end of the trip. But we still defied that, since it was only our first night and we were already together.

It's based off of S3E4 of ODAAT, and I really wanted to include some cute Alex and Sam moments! I'm hoping that I'll be able to update this story weekly in the new year, so keep your fingers crossed!
