"Hey guys, what's the poops?" Henry came out of the elevator as he threw his backpack on the floor.

My dad turned to him "We're all gonna die."

"Whaaaaa-?"

"You're not gonna die." I gestured to my dad

"You're indestructible." Schwoz reminded him

"We are all gonna die." Charlotte said

"Well, it's still bad for me. Who am I gonna talk to when you're all dead?" My dad asked

"Whoa, whoa, what is going on here?" Henry questioned

Schwoz showed a video of a volcano that's about to errupt "That."

"What is that?" Henry asked

"That is a super volcano." I answered

"Fifty miles below the surface of the Earth." my dad added "Right under this town.."

"Oh. Hey, do you guys think I should get my teeth whitened?" Henry asks

"Henry!" Charlotte said

"Are you serious right now?" I furrowed my eyebrows

"Your teeth?" My dad asked

"Are you crazy?" Schwoz said "Two days from now, that volcano is going to pop. Like a big, red-hot, throbbing pimple."

"Ew."

"Gross."

"Billions of tons of hot lava will spew from the ground and melt everything!" my dad explained

"You mean melt all of Swellview?"

"All of the whole world." Schwoz corrected

"But I just ordered a new bike online." Henry realized

"When does it get here?" I ask

"Next week."

I put my hand on his shoulder "Sorry dude."

"Oh, man. The whole world is going to end? You're sure of this?"

"Yes." Schwoz said

"Schwoz has been watching the volcano.. monitoring the vibrations, and doing all those calculations." My dad stated

"How much time do we have left..?" Charlotte asked

Forty-seven hours, fifty-seven minutes, and thirty-three seconds..

"Just under two days.." My dad said

"Oh, oh, jeez. I got to go tell my mom and dad, and my cousins, and everyone!" Henry ran towards the elevator but my dad used a human.. magnet? Thing?

"Could've just said, 'Henry, come back.'."

"Everyone knows you wouldn't listen." I shrugged

"It's better if people don't know about the volcano." my dad said

"Why?"

"So they can spend their last two days living their normal lives.." Charlotte explained

"Right. Enjoying the simple, important things like, petting their dogs, and watching television, and going on the Internet expressing strong opinions based on little or no knowledge or information." my dad agreed

"I do that." Schwoz admitted

"Well, If I only have two days left on this Earth, I know what I'm doing." I walked up to the auto-snacker "A gallon of ice cream and a spoon."

"A gallon of ice cream and a spoon." the auto-snacker repeated as a gallon of ice cream and a spoon appeared

"Oh, come on, Dria. You can't spend your last two days on Earth just stuffing your face." Henry confronted

"Uh, yes I can." I continued to stuff my face with ice cream

I was hanging out with Henry on his porch, we were stargazing because he knew I loved to do that.

"Hey, Henry?" - "Hey, Dri?"

"You go first." we both said

"Same time?" I asked

"Sure,"

"On three. One, two, three- I--"

"I'm planning on telling Bianca how I feel."

"I didn't hear what you just said." Henry stated

I love you.

"O-Oh, right. I uh, I was just wondering that, since these are our last days on Earth, should I uhm.. should I go to an animal shelter and pet every single pet there?" I quickly came up with a lie

"Go for it." Henry grinned

"Okay.." I swallowed, trying to stop my tears from flowing out

I threw my head back on the cushion until Jasper walked up to us.

"Hey, Henry. Hey, Dria."

"You ever look at the stars?" Henry asked

"Huh?"

"Stars are amazing.." I mumbled

I seriously thought Henry felt the same way for me. Like atleast a little bit. Even if Chloe was there I had a tiny bit of hope Henry atleast felt the same.

Dangit Audrianna. DANGIT.

"Thousands of twinkling little lights shining in the night sky." Henry continued

"Alright.." Jasper shrugged

"I love you, man." Henry turned to Jasper

"Okay, dude.. hey. You guys want to see a pic of my new bucket that I posted online?" Jasper sat down next to us

"No, not really."

"Henry." I nudged his shoulder

"What do you mean?"

"Nobody cares about your dumb buckets." Henry spat out as Jasper gasped

"Henry." I said in a stern voice

The boys looked away from each other.

First, I just found out that my crush doesn't even like me back, now this? Can we just speed up the process of that volcano errupting already?

I saw Charlotte with a big bag of food "Hey, guys." she sat down next to us "What's up?"

"You went to Inside-Out Burger?" I leaned forward

"Yup."

I nodded and leaned back

"Since when do you eat chili cheesburgers?" Jasper asks "I thought you were getting in great shape for that ten-k run."

"I was." Charlotte took a bite of her burger "Now I'm eating this."

"Can we?" Henry asked

"Yeah, get in there." she kicked the bag towards Henry and I as Henry handed me a burger.

Jasper turned to us "These have pickles in them."

"So?" I asked

"I thought you were allergic to pickles and that Charlotte and Henry hate pickles."

"Well, one day, Jasper, we may not even be here to love, or hate pickles. So while I am here, I'm gonna give pickles a chance!" Charlotte spat out,

"Me too!" Henry agreed

"It speeds up the process of my death, so.." I shrugged

"Okay pickles are gross." Charlotte spit the pickles out

"I can't eat this pickle." Henry spit out his pickle

"Nevermind, I don't want a sore throat for two days." I spat out my pickles

I was in my room, watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I figured I would speedrun them before I died.

I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in!"

It was my dad.

"Hey, muffin."

I paused the movie "Hey, dad." I smiled

My dad sat on my bed "Listen, muffin. I may not have been the best father to you but I just want you to know that I love you so much. I know I didn't give you everything you wanted and I regret that every single day."

"Dad." I stopped him "What do you mean you're not the best dad? Best would be an understatement. You are the most amazing dad ever. Even if my mom never abandoned me I'd always choose you.."

I could tell tears were forming in both of our eyes and my dad brought me in for a tight hug.

"I'll miss ya, mufifn."

"Me too, dad.."

"Let's get to it, Muffin. We don't have much time." my dad said

I came out wearing a.. hideous dress "Come on, dad why do I have to keep doing this?"

"I told you. I promised my grandmother that one day I'd learn how to dance the Jitterbug. And in, forty-two hours there won't be anybody left on Earth to practice with. Now, come on."

"Isn't grandma Manchester dead?" I pointed out

"We don't talk about that." my dad played some music "And, five, six, seven, eight."

We started dancing.

Even if my dad is a huge goofball, he's MY dad. And I love him. So, so much.

We came down the tubes only to see Charlotte eating the cream off the Oreos.

"Where have you guys been?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"Eh."

"Sure."

Schwoz came down the elevator "Hey peoples, look it. I got a membership to Muscle Works."

"You joined a gym?" Captain Man asks

"Yah. I paid for five years up front which got me two percent off and this tank top." Schwoz grinned

Kid Danger sighed "No, no. Schwoz. Why did you pay for a gym membership when you know the world is going to end tomorrow?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Seriously? five years??"

"Yeah wh--"

"You guys didn't get my text?"

"What text?"

"What."

"What text?"

"Well, you know how I figured out that the super volcano go kaboom tomorrow?" Schwoz asked

"Yeah." Captain Man agreed

"You definitely said that." I agreed

"Uh-huh." Charlotte said

"It's not going to happen tomorrow."

"Then when?" Kid Danger asked

"In about.. seventeen million years."

We all stared at Schwoz in shock.

"I swear I sent you a text." he shrugged and left the room

We all screamed in excitement as I immediately hugged my dad and Kid Danger turned on the disco lights.

"We gonna live. Ha!"
