(Short Chapter?)

AS BOTH Y/N AND CHARLIE WERE BEING DRIVEN back on the way to go back to the hotel with charlie sitting down next to her, it was a rather silent ride back home. after charlie's discussion with Adam, it looked like it didn't go to well for her from the look on her face.

Y/N had to leave her meeting with Lucifer since she knew when charlie was going to leave and had already told her she was going to pick her up from there. Luckily he seemed to understand and left, much to his dismay.

"I'm guessing he didn't listened to you didn't he?" Y/N asked, finally breaking the silence between them.

"No...." Charlie mumbled out as she clung her knees to her chest, her face buried in them. Y/N patted her back as if to comfort her.

"Did something happened as well?" Y/N asked again, charlie seemed really agitated when she came to pick her up. As if he must've told her something horrible. Which piqued her curiousity.

"They didn't listened at all... And they won't even let me explain at all about my cause." Charlie cried out and buried her face in her hands and sobbed quietly, Y/N only pats her hair out of assurance.

"It's alright, charlie, you tried. Heaven is just difficult to deal with, after all." Y/N replied. Recalling how Lucifer used to complain about heaven and it's hypocrisy, along with the fact that they will twist the narrative to their favor to avoid problems. And the whole reason why he was even here in the first place, even though his kind act had pretty dire consequences.

It was once again a silent ride, with the only noise being the driving charlie and Charlie's quiet sobs, with Y/N now just leaning her elbow against the window with a cold look on her expression. And crossed her leg on top. Thinking about what's next on her agenda.

"Y/N?" Charlie called, wiping the small tears that threatened to stain her pink cheeks. Y/N snapped out of her thoughts and slightly turned her head. Still facing the window.

"Yes, charlie?" Y/N asked, not even looking at her anymore and just looked out the window of the car. She could see through the reflection that charlie finally sat her legs down as her gaze still focused on her back. Laying her chin down on her palm.

"Thanks for being there for me for all my life, caring for me when my parents couldn't, comforting me at my lowest. You really mean the whole rings of hell to me..." Charlie spoke with a tearful smile. Y/N foo a napkin from her pocket and wiped them away with smile. Seemingly satisfied with the results she got.

"That's really sweet of you, charlie. Glad I could be of your assistance." Y/N softly responded as charlie gently holds her hand while she was wiping her tears.

"You're almost like... My mom..." The mention of her mother seemed to made her feel bummed down.

Y/N lightly chuckled. "It's a bit funny, you could've almost called me mom." Charlie chuckled at her remark.

"That's alright, charlie, you're free to call me that if you like." Y/N said as charlie gently held her hand, to which she holds it back for her.

The car then stopped in front of the hotel before any could utter anymore words. Both got out the car and the driver then drove away, Y/N slinged an arm around charlie as they both approached the hotel, and entered inside. Meeting vaggie who approached both of them.

"Charlie!" Vaggie hugged her and Y/N got her arm off charlie as she approached.

"How did it go? Did they listen?" Vaggie asked as she pulled away with hopeful eyes. Y/N would've gladly and blunty told her the opposite but kept quiet and let charlie respond since it wasn't her business.

"Uh, they sure did..." Charlie nervously smiled. Y/N shook her head when she lied about it and charlie looked off to the side. "Hear it... But, um..."

Before charlie can utter another word. Vaggie grabbed both their own hands excitedly. "Come here you two! We have something to show you!" Vaggie said as she dragged the two towards the couch.

"Alastor pulled some strings and it's about air!" Vaggie said as they sat down on the couch.

"I've pulled a few limbs too!" Alastor jokingly said and started laughing at his own humor.

"Wait the commercial? You all made a new one?" Charlie asked surprised.

"How kind of you all.." Y/N said with a small grin.

"Yeah, one of my better perfomances If you ask me." Angel said and started laughing.

Charlie's face lit up in joy and sparkles appeared in her eyes as she teared up. "That's... That's... Amazing." She said and angel quickly hushed her as it aired on.

As the commerical began, it was quickly interrupted by the 666 news, which annoyed half of them.

"Breaking news in hell today! We have just received word, heaven that the next extermination is happening sooner than ever before!" Katie said said. Y/N seemed noticed her change of voice, rather odd.

"Do you know what that means tom?" Katie asked and turned to her co host. "Now what does that mean, Katie?" Tom asked.

Katie snapped her head to the side and quickly leaned close to the camera. "It means we're royally FUCKED!" She said.

And the scene them transitioned to the the giant hour glass tower and the time then significantly lowered to six months.

"Wait, what? Why?" Angel asked and pointed at the TV, Y/N's gaze slowly turned to charlie's horrified look, already getting a pretty good idea why.

Y/N had a subtle look of annoyance in her expression. But it didn't matter to her in the end, she has her ways, and hoped it'll go just as planned.
