"Noooo." Harvest groaned as she came down the stairs, dragging herself out of bed barley.

"Oh, good morning." Tyler rose his eyebrows her way.

"Mom, i'm sick." Harvest looked at her mother as she packed her bags, "I think I need to stay home."

Bode laughed.

"On the first day, are you serious?" Nina gave her a knowing look, motioning for her to come down, "Look, you look so cute. You have to go."

"She looks like she always does." Bode pointed out.

"Exactly." Nina pitched her redhead daughters cheek slightly, "Make her eat something."

"Eat something or i'll kick your ass." Tyler threw a apple her way with a knowing look, "I even know how you hate the red ones."

"Here, I made you lunch." Kinsey gave the sack to Nina quickly.

"Oh, Kins, that is so sweet." she spoke with a grin as she took it with her bag.

"Make sure you get a parking pass from Bernadette. If you don't, she has a power trio about getting people towed. Happened to Logan." Kinsey nodded her head as she followed her mom around the kitchen.

"And don't use the soda machine in the field house. It eats dollars." Tyler added while grabbing the cup from near the sink.

Harvest groaned as she fell to hit her head on the table.

"Guys, I got it." Nina smiled at her two oldest, patted Harvest' hair, "You, my redhead child, try to smile."

"Are you riding with me and Logan?" Kinsey nudged Harvey quickly.

"God, no." the girl commented a she sat up more.

"Gabe's picking you up?" Tyler hummed.

"No, last time he bothered me this early I broke up with him for a week. We have a rule he doesn't talk to me until a hour after i've been awake." Harvest hummed as she stood up, looking at her watch, "And it's only been twenty minutes."

"Then i'm your ride, let's roll." Tyler snapped his fingers at her.

"Can't believe this is your last first day, you're old. Before you know it, you're gonna have a saggy ass and no front teeth." Harvest followed Tyler out of the house, "Can I drive?"

"You're insane." he shook his head at her, "And i'm not old, and i'm going to college, you know."

"Duh, but it's still different. You won't get to drive me then." Harvest spoke as Tyler unlocked the doors, "How's Jack after last night?"

Tyler glanced over the car toward her, "Yesterday she showed me this memory of Eden somehow sweet-talking a cop into letting them out of a speeding ticket. It was great. It was totally normal. Uh, when I brought it up later, she had no idea what I was talking about."

Harvest frowned as she opened the car door to get in, "I'm sorry, Ty."

"Imagine going into Gabe's head and having him complete forget." Tyler said as he shut the door, looking at his sisters odd look, "What? Find something bad in there?"

"I've never been in his head." Harvey shook her head as Tyler glanced her way, "He never wants to talk about anything personal so I figured he'd definitely not want me looking all around his head."

Tyler gave her a odd look, "You don't talk about anything personal at all?"

"No, all he's ever said was his parents are divorced." Harvest shook her head as Tyler tried to not give a look, "That's bad, isn't it?"

"Not bad, it's just weird." the oldest Locke pointed out as he drove out of the driveway, "You guys have been together for a while."

"Hey there, sophomore." Gabe greeted Harvest as she walked up the steps of the school, "Wait, has it been a hour?"

"Forty-five, good enough." she gave a shrug and accepted his out reached arm, "You're in a lovely mood, get over your stomach bug?"

"Why wouldn't I be? I'm a junior with two classes with a certain sophomore. And, we got a partial standing ovation from premiering what had gotta be the second-best lobster movies of all time."

"Second? Because the first is obviously Fish Tails." Harvest hummed.

"There was no lobster in Fish Tails." Gabe gave a odd look her way, "The Lobster is the first."

"There was no lobster in that one either." Harvest pointed out as they laughed, walking the hallway together.

"Okay, then, we win the number one spot." Gabe hummed as he let their linked arms go to take her hand, "To celebrate our showmance, I got us reservations for tonight at Stan's pizza."

"So classy, I have nothing to wear." Harvest faked a gasp.

"Oh, you better. We got the best seat in the house." Gabe rose his eyebrows as they went down the stairs, "You know the sticky table next to the dartboard? That's all ours."

Harvest ignored the first flick to the back of her head, the same for the second. As she felt it once again, she spun in her seat to give Logan a look of disbelief, "Why are you flicking me in the back of the head? I'm writing about my summer."

"Well, what could you possibly be writing about this summer?" Logan whispered with a raise of his eyebrows, "Scavenging around the sea for sand dollars with a magic key?"

"My camping trip, actually." Harvest gave a matter of fact eyebrow raise, "The one that you nearly suffocated me on."

"Ah, yup, that was my highlight too." he hummed with a nod of his head, "Have my dads talked to your mom any?"

"My mom? No, she hasn't mentioned anything." Harvests shook her head as she gave a minor odd look, "Why?"

"They were supposed to get home yesterday but never showed." Logan shook his head as he messed with his fingers, "I've called and haven't heard anything back."

"Maybe their flight had a delay and they aren't allowed phones on them?" she tired to make him feel better, despite also thinking it was weird.

"You just saw that, right?" Abby gapped later that day after seeing Kinsey bend the entire desk leg with the key. Zadie had the idea of telling her about the keys after how much she helped over the summer with the film.

"That's honestly the least impressive thing i've seen her do." Dough said honestly as he looked up at her. Harvest grinned up at Abby.

"I-" Abby tried to find words to say as she sat.

"Loss of speech is normal at this stage." Dough reassured her with a small giggle.

"But if you start to experience deafness or blindness, please speak up." Harvest gave her a minor wink.

"Dough fainted." Kinsey pointed out.

"All right, while Abby's whole conception of reality is totally altered, let's get down to business." Zadie stood as she looked around at each of them, "Guys, we had a huge premiere. I think it's safe to say we've got a fan base now."

"You mean bigger then just Doughs mom?" Gabe hummed.

"Woah, hey. Don't knock loyalty." Dough defended his mom.

"Linda Brazelle's our OG stan. You show her some respect." Scot pointed a finger his way, arm thrown behind Dough, fist pumping him.

"Just a joke." Gabe hummed.

"He was joking too." Harvest spoke to Gabe with a small laugh.

"Look, we've got some heat." Zadie spoke up again as a faint feeling of awkwardness hung, "I say we ride it and get our sequel off the ground."

"The Splattered 2: Crustacean of Garnage." Dough announced.

"With a side of butter sauce." Logan snapped his fingers.

"Okay, hold on. Hold on." Abby spoke up, "Can we go back to the part with the magic keys?"

"I'm gonna take you into the ocean." Harvest hummed her way, "You'll love it."

"You don't see how the two are connected?" Gabe rose his eyebrows her way, "I mean, no offense to Zadie, but she's not a master at CGI."

"Okay, hold on. Tom Savini never used CGI, and he also didn't have access to a bunch of magic keys." Zadie gave a point.

"So what are you saying? We don't wanna use the keys for the sequel?" Dough gapped at her in disbelief.

"No, Dough. I'm saying let's remember our roots." Zadie corrected him.

"Fair enough." Dough glanced at the boy next to him, "So, Scot, how's the script coming?"

"You should probably tell them." Kinsey spoke his way.

"Tell us what?" Zadie gave a odd look.

"Uh. So, as you might know, i've always dreamt of getting on this really prestigious and insanely..insanely selective film program back in the UK. And as it turned out, a last-minute spot had opened up. And it seems to be down to just me and one other person." Scot spoke as he stood to his feet, looking around the group.

"Scot, that's so amazing for you." Harvey smiled as she stood up to give him a hug.

"Congrats, man." Gabe nodded with a clear of his throat.

"Wait, when you say last minute, you mean like you're leaving soon?" Zadie looked at him in questioning.

"Yeah, couple of weeks." Scot said guiltily, "But, I might not be leaving at all. I might not get in, and I just-"

"Scot, I am so happy for you." Dough cut him off with a cheeky grin, "But so you know, you're committed to that contract. You're gonna deliver the greatest script ever in exchange for zero dollars before you get on that plane."

"Douglas, my friend, I promise I will get it done before I go or before I would have gone in case they reject me, which, let's be honest, they probably will." Scot rocked on his heels with a nod.

"You're here right now, so let's just focus on that." Kinsey pointed out with a grin.

Gabe caught Harvests arm when they all walked out of the lounge, "What was that?"

The redhead gave a odd look, "What was was?"

"What you said in there. 'He was joking too.' Seriously?" Gabe asked her with offense in his tone.

"What? He was, I was just telling you." Harvest pulled her arm away from his grip.

"He was being hostile." Gabe rolled his eyes.

"He was joking around with you. You're the one that made it awkward, all I was trying to do was tell you it was a joke so you didn't get all offended." Harvest gave him a odd look, shocked by this attitude, "Like you are now."

"Well, it was embarrassing. Why couldn't you just have been on my side or just stayed quiet?" Gabe gave her a eye roll, "Didn't realize you and Scot were so close."

"Oh my god, we're not." Harvest gave him a look of disbelief, "You made a joke about Doughs mom, he made one back. I don't know what you're making such a big deal out of it."

"Because you felt the need to say that." Gabe huffed as he rolled his eyes, "Whatever, it clearly doesn't matter."

Then stormed off.
