The next day, Y/n awoke to the gentle morning light, a sense of warmth enveloping her in his arms. She glanced down and beheld Angel still nestled against her chest, a soft smile gracing his features.

She smiled to herself and tenderly pressed a kiss to his tousled hair, then shifted slightly to assess the blue spider demon, who seemed to have taken a liking to her. Noticing that her own tail had been playfully wandering about during the night, inadvertently causing Angel discomfort, she thought, Poor guy, that wasn't my intention. I hadn't realized that my tail could have a mind of its own.Β With a gentle sigh, she carefully positioned her fingers to tidy up herself and Angel before easing him from her embrace, though he grumbled sleepily, and turned to his other side, continuing to rest peacefully.

She made her way to the bathroom, taking the towel she had used the previous day to freshen up. As she cleaned herself off, she carefully attended to her pale locks and enhanced her crimson lips with another layer of lipstick. Her wrists were now adorned with small, glistening jewels, and she selected her favorite dress, one with a high collar that shimmered under the light, eliciting a golden smile from her. Star-shaped earrings adorned her ears elegantly, while a delicate necklace with a single star pendant hung gracefully around her neck. Though perhaps a touch ostentatious, it was undeniably her signature style.

Once she had finished getting ready, she made her way back to her room, where Angel Dust was beginning to stir awake. "Hello there, dear. I apologize for nudging you awake twice in quick succession. You're welcome to stay here; I'm certain Charlie will attend to you sooner or later," she reassured him. Angel gazed up at her, his pink eyes blinking in curiosity. "What do you plan to do today?" he inquired.

The young overlord shrugged nonchalantly, "I will likely shadow Charlie and explore a lot today. I do recall hearing his whispers late into the night a few hours ago," he mentioned before she made her way to the door. "Feel free to join whenever you please, Angel," she added before disappearing.

She soon made her way towards the bar and found Husk, as usual, stationed there. He glanced up and gave her a curt nod. "Would you care for something, madam?" he inquired.

"Good day," she spoke softly, "I was simply wondering if Alastor and Charlie have left yet." Husk shrugged in response, "Not that I'm aware of." She nodded in understanding, "Very well, I shall take my leave then. Farewell, Husker." With that, she disappeared down the hallway again, her pale golden eyes darting and sharp. She twitched her nose and soon found Charlie conversing with Vaggie in the elegant living room.

"You shouldn't take this too hard, my dear," Vaggie said reassuringly as she rubbed Charlie's knee. "You know I would have informed you about being an angel, I simply struggled to find the appropriate words."

"I see you are an angel, then," Y/n remarked softly, causing Vaggie and Charlie to jump. "Ah, there you are, Y/n!" Charlie beamed, waving her over, though Y/n could see the sadness clouding the young woman's eyes. "You're feeling melancholic," she pointed out, and Charlie's eyes widened in surprise. "What? No, no, I'm not sad, just a tad irritated, that's all!" Charlie laughed.

"Hmm," Y/n hummed softly as she sat down beside Charlie and wrapped her arms around her, her wings enveloping Cage who yelped as she was pressed against the older woman's chest. Though she was as stiff as a stick initially, she soon relented and allowed the older woman to embrace her.

"What can I do to assist you?" Y/n asked, and Charlie leaned back before sighing and rubbing her eyes. "I... I don't know. Could you perhaps talk to Heaven for us?" she rambled. Y/n chuckled before cupping the young woman's cheek and kissing her nose. "My dear, I don't converse with Heaven. I am a dragon, I am done following rulers who fail to see their kingdoms falling apart. No, I won't speak to Heaven, but you should tell your dad to come over."

Charlie sighed and leaned back against the sofa as soon as Y/n let her go, Cage sitting beside her and warmly cuddling up to her girlfriend. "I suppose, but what could he do? We've already had our discussion with Heaven."

Y/n shrugged and leaned back into the plush chair. "I'm sure I can accompany the two of you to explore a bit. I'm restless and would appreciate somewhere to go," she said as if summoned by her words, the red demon appeared. "Someone said my name," he remarked, the smile always on his lips still there. Y/n smiled back, this time at him, and nodded. "Indeed I did. Would you like to escort us?" she gestured towards herself and Charlie. "Or somewhere where we might gather an army?"

The demon's smile widened and his ears perked up. "I'd love that, darling. Now come along, I'm sure we'd better get this done before afternoon," he said and waved his hand. Soon they were gone, and Y/n took a deep breath. Time to meet the other denizens of Hell.
