๐๐๐๐๐ wind brushed back the newly knotted curls once again, the echoes of the different birds chirping was surprising given the time of day, the sun is on the verge of setting, creating a dimmed lighting surrounding the youngest Chambers sister. The sky was a mixture of orange and red, making the atmosphere gorgeous and slightly illuminating.
ย ย Liz Chambers found herself escaping the Chambers-Black household pretty late in the evening. Her once exhausted mood seemed to have vanished completely after the newly founded information that was dropped into her lap only hours prior. No one in their right minds would be able to think straight, let alone stop thinking long enough to close their eyes for something as measly as a quick nap.
ย ย Especially not after the revelation she made once she typed that specific word into her laptop. The discovery that caused her brain to go haywire and her appetite to completely vanish when Danny called her down for dinner. It definitely raised some concerns when she sat down at the table, picking at her meatloaf with her head resting in her opposite hand, not uttering a word the entire time as her mind completely lost in thought and having to be asked three times if she was alright by her guardians before she excused herself back to her bedroom was certainly odd behavior for the young blonde, but Ester and Danny seemed to know better than to question it further.
ย ย After departing back to her room, she only sat on her bed for maybe five minutes at the most before abruptly rushing to her closet, grabbing her sneakers that she hasn't touched since before the accident, changing from her dark jeans into black leggings with a blue tank over her slim figure, slipping on her black Adidas track jacket and securing a scrunchie around her wrist before making her quick escape, calling back to the engaged couple that she would be back later, not bothering to wait for their responses before getting on her bike, driving until she reached her destination.
ย ย Which is how she found herself sitting on the large bleachers outside the Forks High School, staring out onto the empty track field with an absentminded and bewildered expression during the late evening. The sun was just beginning to set, barely visible as it seemed to hide behind the dark clouds. She could tell rain would soon reach the dreary town once again, explaining the beauty in the colors of the sky slowly disappearing.
ย ย Bella had called her not too long ago, which Liz let go to voicemail before listening to her message, which stated that Bella, Jessica and Angela were planning on going to Port Angeles the following day like they had talked about earlier. Bella explained through the voicemail that she was only really going so she could go to this bookstore she found online that will have more information on the Quileute legends Jacob told them about and how she will call her once she has more information. It struck Liz harder then she thought it would when listening to the message, as her friend was still searching for answers when it only took a small question and Ester's brilliant memory for Liz to finally uncover the truth.
ย ย The information Google provided was very minimal, of course talking about all the myths and legends from Dracula or that vampire slaying show her grandmother loves all too much about a girl named Buffy. It only has little information regarding the Quileute legends, but it was enough for even Liz herself to put two and two together. Enhanced speed, unexplainable strength, pale skin, stiff composers around other humans, being pulled from school only on the days when the sun would shine bright or can go several minutes without looking like they were breathing. All these qualities screamed the Cullen's, as well as never touching their food during lunch and their god-like complexions.
ย ย Liz knew she sounded insane. It was completely and totally mental and she would hit her own head repeatedly against the wall to knock some sense into herself if she didn't fear the repercussions. So it is why she chose not to call Bella back, wanting time to process the new information and to clear her mind before she talked to her new friend. Which brought her back to the track field, debating whether this was really a good idea or not. Clearly it was not, she knew that it wasn't but she was just so damn infuriated. Because the one thing she always did when she is stressed, frustrated or needed to think, the only thing that could clear her head and make everything semi-better again, was the one thing she wasn't allowed to do.
ย ย Running was her passion, something she found everlasting joy in, something that always kept her adrenaline pumping and could always put a smile on her face despite being in one of her worse moods. It somehow was her way of thinking clearly, especially when she struggled with school or a serious matter - like her sister and parents arguments that she would always have to listen to or trying to comfort her mother whenever Ester said something hurtful towards her for taking their father's side - she would always just throw on her shoes once her mother was sound asleep and her father took over the comforting and just go for a run. Coming to the track field even during the weekends was nothing new to the blonde, something she has done on multiple occasions and the teachers who would have to stay afterwards or for Saturday detentions are never surprised to see the Chambers girl running the track without a care in the world. It was actually a normal sight for them if anything.
ย ย ย Shaking her legs anxiously, Liz glowered down at the black brace on her knee, as she has done multiple times since the moment she woke up with a cast on in the hospital. The cast had been worse than the brace, having to spend the first month and a half walking on crutches that hurt underneath her arms and only made her look weak. Having to go to her parents funeral with not only the cast, but stitches and pale features was humiliating to say the least.
She hates the fact that she was worried about looking weak at her own parents funeral, but everyone was already looking at her with so much sorrow, she did not want to give them another reason to pity her. Liz hates being pitied with a burning vehemence, it was not a welcoming feeling for the teen. Which is why when she was told she wouldn't be able to ever run again, anger was a common emotion consuming the teen in ways that it never had before.
ย ย Which is kind of what she was feeling at the moment. Anger. It was a deafening sensation, one that she was used to and one that clouded all others. All she felt upon this new information was anger and maybe a little fearful. Nobody who was sane would digest the information she has without feeling a bit disconcerted. Of what they are, of what they do. Liz wasn't afraid of admitting when something frightened her. But for some weird, inexplicable reason, Liz knew that deep down, Jasper Hale would never harm her, at least not in the way she was thinking. Though, Liz does not know the Cullen's or what they truly are well enough to make that assumption.
ย ย With that thought in mind, Liz flipped her hair back and gathered the thick large curls into both of her hands, tying it back with her brown scrunchie until it was tightly pulled out of her face, the few strains fell back to her face which she only tucked behind her ears before pulling herself up using the railing.
ย ย This is a terrible idea. This is a terrible idea. This is a terrible idea.
ย ย She repeated those words over and over again in her head as she approached the beginning lines of the track field, a familiar sensation of comfort that she always felt when stepping foot on the field resurfaced. Liz tries to remember her last track meet, the last time she felt complete in her life. Before everything came crashing down, before she got into that car to go to Seattle with her mother, before the first car hit their white Honda that caused them to spiral out of control, before she woke up to cracked ribs, bashed skull and an injured kneecap and the devastating deaths that shattered her world into a million tiny little pieces.
ย ย Liz froze where she stood, trying to give herself enough time to back out, but her head was starting to hurt from thinking so much. The pain between her eyes slowly recurred, but it was minor and something she could easily brush away. Without a second thought, Liz extended her foot back and crouched down until her fingers touched the concrete. She readied herself, looking straight towards the next line up. She was just going to do a sprint. It is the shortest run there is and it shouldn't be too difficult. She wouldn't be able to do anymore than that. She just has to force herself, she refuses to let doctors tell her how far she can push her own strength. She knows she could do this. She will recover, she just needs to.
ย ย Liz counted backwards from three and just as she was about to take off, a voice broke her out of her intense concentration. "Don't do something you'll regret later, Liz."
ย ย ย The curly haired blonde jumped so much to the point she fell over to the side and landed on her ass. Cursing under her breath, she knew exactly who had spoken without having to look at him. Her entire body stiffened and her heart picked up a mile a minute, looking back to see the familiar golden orbs gazing down at her softly yet sternly. Jasper Hale stood there, wearing the same painful countenance she was so used to seeing when looking at him. However, something was different, he held another expression that Liz had only seen once, back at the hospital where he randomly appeared in the parking lot after the incident at school. She could tell by the way his eyebrows scrunched downwards, and his eyes swarmed over her intently, like he was searching for something, an injury or something alarmingly wrong with her.
ย ย He was worried about her. It was as clear as day and Liz did not know how to feel about that.
ย ย "What the fuck- what are you doing here?" Liz hissed out loudly, finding whatever courage she could muster to finally speak, pushing herself up from the ground and taking a small step back, a bit cautious as night time was approaching closer by the second.
ย ย ย Jasper didn't even blink, he just stared blankly and once he saw she was alright, he relaxed only slightly but also hardened his features more than ever before. "Making sure you don't do something stupid."
ย ย ย "Did you follow me here?" Liz's eyes widened as she asked, wondering if he's been watching her, immediately becoming timorous, which was strange as she still did not feel threatened in his presence, just wary.
ย ย "No. But I knew you were going to be here and I needed to make sure you didn't go through with what you were planning. I was almost too late."
ย ย ย The youngest Chambers sibling noticed how he whispered that last bit to himself and gave him a bewildered look, as if he grew five heads and was talking nonsense. "What are you talking about? Too late for what? How did you know I'd be here?"
ย ย "What were you thinking? Do you know what would've happened if you ran that sprint?" Jasper chastised her in clear irritation, completely ignoring her questions. "The damage on your knee would have been catastrophic."
ย ย "Catastrophic?" Liz repeats loudly with a cold chuckle. "I think you are being almost as dramatic as you are an asshole. Besides, you don't know anything about me or my injury nor do you know what could have happened if I ran that sprint - wait, how did you know I was going to run a sprint? Actually, you know what, don't answer that. The doctors are wrong, I know they are. I've rested it, I've iced it, I wear this stupid brace everywhere I go and I go to physical therapy when I have to. I do everything I'm supposed to so who the hell are you to tell me what my body can or cannot handle? For all we know, I would have been fine."
ย ย ย "Are you really willing to take that chance?" He deadpanned.
ย ย ย Liz's face falters, gritting her teeth together. She knew he was right, all he was telling her was what she was thinking moments before he appeared. She knew it wasn't worth the risk, she knew it was reckless and stupid and she might of even backed out at the very last moment. But who was he to belittle her like this as if he knows her? Which is what brought back the same rage, the all too familiar reaction that didn't seem to want to go away.
ย ย ย "Jasper, how did you know I'd be here?" She repeated her earlier question, tucking the strain of hair behind her ear once again as the wind blew it away.
ย ย The Hale boy didn't respond, just stared at her intensely as she could see his golden specks getting a bit darker. It frightened her, though she has seen it happen plenty of times with him specifically, she wasn't exactly sure what it meant but now knew it couldn't be something good. Her heart picked up again, and Jasper's tight expression twisted into a small confused frown. "You're scared. Why are you scared?"
ย ย ย Liz shook her head, quickly trying to come up with an excuse immediately. "I'm not scared. I'm angry that you think you have the right to talk down on me or can tell me what to do."
ย ย ย Jasper shook his head slowly, as he took in all her emotions like an energy wave, as they always seemed to be confusing, harder to determine than most. Anger was a common one he always got off the girl, mostly since she returned from California. Liz Chambers was always angry at something. It was like she was angry at the world around her, though she had every right to be. But he detected something else. His gifts might be questionable when around the Chambers girl, but he knew he felt one emotion he never wanted to feel come off of her in presence, and that was fear. That only meant one thing and he knew Liz was a lot smarter than she gave herself create for.
ย ย "You know." He voices in such a low tone, Liz almost didn't hear him. "You know, don't you?"
ย ย ย The blood rushed to her cheeks, feeling a bit panic and nervous under his vigorous stare, but still she wasn't exactly afraid of him. Liz just feared the situation in general. "I-I don't know what you're talking about."
ย ย "Don't act dumb, Liz. You and I both know you're far from that."
ย ย Liz only sighed, trying to look anywhere but into his sharp gaze, but found it nearly impossible as it felt like his eyes were staring into the depths of her soul. Knowing that there was no other way but to tell the truth, which is exactly what she does. "Yeah, I know. There is no logical explanation to explain everything that has happened, so why not go with the most insane possibility there is. Vampires."
ย ย He flinched at the word, as he knew he was breaking every rule in the book right now. "How did you figure it out?"
ย ย The blonde barely shrugged. "Apparently all it only takes is an old tribe legend, my sister Ester's amazing memory, and a Google search to discover the world isn't what I thought it was."
ย ย Jasper did not find amusement in her words, just became nervous as he was the only to step back only slightly, as if he was terrified of seeing the same fear he felt radiating off of her in her gorgeous crystal blues. "Let's go somewhere else, I do not feel comfortable speaking about this out in the open."
ย ย ย The fear was slowly disappearing and determination was taking over, Liz giving the boy a stern look. "Okay, well pick a place, because vampire or not, I'm not letting you leave until you tell me everything I wanna know."
ย ย ย "Always the stubborn one," Jasper examines in amusement, before finally looking back at the one girl that makes him question everything about himself and more. "I know a place, but I need you to trust me. I know you're scared, but I would never harm you, at least not on purpose. You have my word." He stared down at her as Liz was completely captivated by his Southern drawl once again. "Can you trust me?"
ย ย Liz hesitated for a split second, contemplating the risk of taking the hand of a blood-drinking vampire who wasn't even sure of his own self control and how anyone who was sane would run in the opposite direction. Despite always trying to think logically, Liz knew there was a bit of insanity hidden behind her closed walls and nodded. "More than I probably should."
><><><
ย ย "๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ HOUSE?" Liz deadpans as she walks into the dark, misty building. Trash was spread out here and there, graffiti was splattered on the walls and she could have swore she saw a mouse run alongside the pipes. "This is what all the cloak and dagger was about?"
ย ย Liz didn't know much about this abandoned fire station, only that it was shut down because the Forks City Council decided to rebuild a new one closer to the police station around 1978, leaving this place on sale for about two and a half decades. It was located on the edge of town, secluded from the roads a bit but not too hidden where it was nearly impossible to find. Several trees surrounded it as the road towards this place was removed and now only a very thin dirted path was the only way in. Liz honestly has only been here once, and that was because her father liked to drive by this area every once in a while and decided to take a detour to see if the fire station was still there. Luckily she remembered where it was since she was forced to drive here, thankfully she knew how to get here through the back roads.
ย ย Jasper grins at her comment, as he has been waiting here for quite some time, almost thinking she had backed out until he heard the motor of her bike from a mile away. "No one ever comes here. I like to every once in a while to think or to calm myself whenever I'm feeling too overwhelmed with - well, everything really."
ย ย Liz had texted Ester to let her know that she was at 'Angela's' doing a project she had forgotten all about and to not wait up. "How exactly is a creepy old building comforting to you?"
ย ย "Let me show you," Jasper says, motioning for her to follow him, walking towards the rusted steel doors in the back and sliding them open without care. She follows slowly until they are once again outside. She looked around in confusion. She was about to ask what he was going on about, when suddenly she felt his arm wrap around her waist tightly as he forced her arms around his neck. "Hold on tight."
ย ย "Wait, wha- ahh!" Liz practically screams as he leaps in the air, using the old rusty pipes on the side to help him swing up until they were safely on top of the roof. Liz's crystal blue eyes were wide in surprise, not believing he basically just jumped onto what she believes is a twenty-five foot tall building. "Woah. That was just um - wow."
ย ย Jasper almost immediately lets the blonde go, backing away from her so quickly as if she burned him. Liz's head shot towards him, her bright smile fading as she watches him retreat further away. He turned his back to her and looked out over the edge, creating as much distance between them as possible. The Chambers' girl shivered from the wind that blew, crossing her arms over her chest as she planted her feet firmly on the ground. "It's hard for you, isn't it? To be so close to me."
ย ย The boy didn't respond at first, he just kept his head down until the burning that he fought so hard to keep at bay for many years settled back down. Over the past few weeks since Liz returned, he had learned to control himself a bit better the more he found himself in her presence. "It's hard for me to be close to anyone. It is why I like to come here, to watch the night sky and get my head on straight when I feel like my control is being tested. Sometimes I like to stay up here from the moment the sun goes down to the moment it rises again. It's quite a beautiful sight."
ย ย He paused for a moment, still keeping his back towards her as he speaks once again. "Control does not come as easy for me as it does for my other siblings."
ย ย "Sounds tough," Liz blankly stated, though she felt for him, she needed to know now more than ever. "Mind elaborating on that a bit for me?"
ย ย After a couple seconds, Jasper finally turned around, the wind blowing his once golden locks back as he does. "Sure thing, M'Lady. What would you like to know first?"
ย ย "I don't know, how does one ask about vampirism?" The blonde shrugged drastically before thinking. "How exactly is this possible, Jasper? How are you a vampire? How does any of this exist?" Liz gave him a desperate look, her voice shaking a bit though she fought like hell to be strong.
ย ย "I don't really think I can answer that for you, Liz." The Hale boy replied honestly. "I mean, not about how vampires came to be. Our kind has been around for centuries, the date of how far that goes back remains unknown. What I can tell you is that we are bitten, the venom from our bite is what will turn you into a vampire, that is if you have enough strength to stop the thirst. Our natural instinct is blood, we crave it more than anything and some lose their humanity, if you are naive enough to believe you still have one."
ย ย Liz didn't say a word, just watched him attentively as he continued. "Those who survive on human blood, their eyes remain a dark, crimson red. However, if you are like my family and I, we are of those naive ones who try to prove to ourselves that we aren't as monstrous as we believe ourselves to be, so we survive off of the only other kind of blood there is. Animal blood."
ย ย "Animal blood? And it works the same for you guys?"
ย ย "It suffices, only enough to contain ourselves, but it doesn't really crunch the thirst like human blood would. Drinking animal blood makes it easier for us to be among humans, to try to live a life as normal as we'll ever get. Which explains why our eyes are golden, keeping on this 'diet'- if you would call it that - long enough turns them gold. But it always turns black when we're hungry, always reminding us that we'll never be as normal as we so desperately seek to be."
ย ย Liz rolled her eyes at the word she always hated. "Normal is overrated. I always thought being extraordinary was more fascinating anyway."
ย ย "We are far from extraordinary. We are abominations in this world. My family may feed off the blood of animals, but we are the animals, Liz. We are not something to fascinate over."
ย ย Liz turned her body clockwise until she was completely facing him, sending daggers into the side of his face as he refused to even look at her. "How can you say that about yourself with everything you just told me? You said you don't hurt people, that makes you more humane than most humans in this world."
ย ย "There is nothing humane about drinking blood to survive." Jasper whispered sharply. Liz's face fell, knowing that it was best not to argue and continue on.
ย ย "What about all the myths?" Liz inquires.
ย ย "That's all they are, myths. Movies and scary stories, they always exaggerate a bit other than the basics." Jasper explains, turning his head so he was facing the blonde beauty standing before him. "Speed, strength, heightened senses are all accurate. Sleeping in coffins and being killed by a stake was obviously made up by someone trying to be humorous."
ย ย Liz tried to keep a neutral straight face. "What about the sun?"
ย ย "The sun has a completely different effect on us, but it doesn't harm us." Liz tilted her head at his words, but he just shook his head dismissively. "Maybe I'll show you some day."
ย ย Liz didn't press further, just turned her head to look out into the now night sky. "How did you know I would be at the track field? How did you know if I ran that sprint, that I would have damaged my knee even more?"
ย ย Golden eyes gazed down, looking away from the intriguing girl before him and stared at the concrete ground. "Some of us possess special abilities, gifts we like to call them. Not all of us, but most of us, we do. Like my sister, Alice. She can see the future."
ย ย Liz raised her brows in disbelief. "You're shitting me, right?"
ย ย "No, I am not. She gets visions, though they may not always be accurate as they are subject to change, but they most likely always are. She had a vision of you running that sprint and you shattered the thigh bone completely, resulting in major surgery where the risks were too severe. One of them being that you would never be able to walk properly ever again, at least not without permanent crutches."
ย ย The curly haired blonde stared at him, her crystal blue eyes glossing over and she turned her head to stare out over the trees so he wouldn't see her reaction. Her heart broke and her head raised, the cold reality of her injury hitting her like a brick wall. The funny thing about damaging your ACL is that this particular injury is caused among athletes actually playing the game they loved. The irony of damaging hers was due to a freak accident and not actually doing the one thing she loves more than anything.
ย ย Jasper could sense her distress, watching her intensely as the sudden force of distraught waved over him, delaying as per usual. Despite feeling broken and defeated, Liz refused to let a single tear fall, keeping the composer as she needed more answers. "I guess I should thank you, then."
ย ย Jasper sent her a wave of calm before shaking his head sternly. "You don't have to thank me. I was almost too late."
ย ย ย "What do you mean?"
ย ย "For some reason, you have an effect on all our gifts, they don't work properly around you. It's like with you, ours are always delayed in some way. With Alice, she can't see your future unless it is merely seconds before it happens or right as it's happening, but most of the time, it is always blurry. It throws her off completely. You are unpredictable for her and it bothers her relentlessly."
ย ย Despite the news that she apparently has some weird effect on vampire powers, only one thing really stuck out to her through his whole statement. "All of your gifts? You each have a gift?"
ย ย "Not all of us, just Alice, Edward and myself." Jasper reveals, turning to see Liz was fiddling with her fingers as she leans on the edge, the vampire getting lost in the perfect imperfection that is Liz Chambers, who only stared up at him and waited for him to continue. "Edward can read minds"
ย ย ย The curly haired girl frowned in discomfort with the thought of Edward Cullen being in her head. "Wait, seriously?"
ย ย ย Jasper nodded. "Yes, with the exception of you and Bella Swan, of course."
ย ย "Bella?"
ย ย "Edward can't read her mind at all, it's blank with her. It's the first time he could never not know what someone was thinking, which got him very curious about her." Liz hummed, as it explained all his staring and sudden fascination with her friend, one that he never showed in anyone else before. "As for you, you affect him the same way you affect Alice's visions. He can read your thoughts, but they are always delayed or a bit of words here and there. He can never fully understand what you are thinking as sometimes as it's always all over the place."
ย ย "That's both comforting and disturbing at the same time," Liz murmurs, letting out a deep sigh. "What about you?"
ย ย "I'm an empath. I can feel and alter other's emotions."
ย ย Liz raised a brow at the revelation. "And I have an affect on that as well?"
ย ย Jasper could tell she was digesting all this in a bunch of ways. Although she was trying to be understanding, he could tell that she was struggling a little bit. And he wanted so much to make her feel at ease, but he did not know how to do that exactly. "Yes. For some reason, the emotions I feel from you are always short lived. I can only feel them for a brief moment before they disappear and it's rare when I can alter them. Lately I've been feeling a lot of emotions coming from you, but there are days when I can't tell what you're feeling at all."
ย ย Liz frowned deeply. "That doesn't make any sense. How are there days you can feel my emotions and days that you can't?"
ย ย "I don't know," Jasper admits. "But I can't explain it any other way."
ย ย Before she could ask him to explain more, her phone ringing caused her to jump slightly, answering it instantly once she saw it was Ester. "Hey, what's up?"
ย ย "I know you said not to wait up, but Liz, it's nearly eleven and I know you of all people don't do school work for more than twenty minutes. So please get home. I don't want you driving this late, especially on that death trap." Her sister's worried voice made her smile only slightly, but she realized that she was right. She hadn't really been paying attention to how late it had been and she did agree to be home by eleven earliest. And she was right, she definitely would not work on a project for this long intentionally. Ester really did have the worst timings, though.
ย ย "Um, okay. I'll be home soon." Liz hung up the phone right before her sister went into a speech about motorcycle safety, turning to see Jasper who had heard the entire conversation. She doesn't think she'll ever get used to that. "If I don't get home soon, Ester will send a swat team to Angela's house and most likely give Mr. Weber a heart attack, which would be unfair because he's actually a really cool dude."
ย ย Jasper couldn't help but laugh at her words. "It is getting pretty late."
ย ย Liz's eyes began to panic a bit. "I still have so many questions. I need to know about the accident. I need to know what you know."
ย ย "I know you do and I want to tell you everything," said Jasper, who thought for a moment before adding, "How about I pick you up tomorrow and bring you to my home, have you meet my family and I'll explain it all there?"
ย ย "Come to your house? A house full of vampires? With me being the only human? Yeah, that sounds pleasant."
ย ย The vampire rolled his eyes at her sarcasm. "I wouldn't worry about it, the only one I would say you were in any danger with is myself, but I promised I would never harm you. I'm hell bent on keeping that promise."
ย ย I promise I won't harm you. At least not on purpose. She remembers his earlier words, but immediately dismissed him, the intensity of his stare making it hard not to believe him. "How is your family going to feel about this?"
ย ย "I imagine a lot of anger and possibly loud arguments. But once I explain that you figured it out on your own and that you deserve all the answers you seek, they should come around. Besides, you basically met everyone besides Esme, who will love you and probably adopt you as her own the minute she sees you."
ย ย This was true, she has never met the mystery wife of the best doctor Forks has ever had. Her sister is constantly stating how jealous she is of her, despite being engaged herself. "I'll probably regret this later, but fine. Only because I really need more answers and because the more I stand here, the more I realize how exhausted I truly am."
ย ย With a curt nod, Jasper smirked at the blonde beauty before him. "Until tomorrow at noon, m'lady."
ย ย This shall be interesting.

- Omg this chapter is so cringy! Like there was no way for me to write this scene and not make it cringy and I feel like every author who writes a twilight fic with the love interests being one of the Cullen's always struggle with this part the most. Those who write this kind of scene about the human OC learning the truth well like any other chapter, I applaud you. Cause holy shit this is terrible. I tried guys, I'm so so sorry. This is the re-written one, yeah I had one that was even worse.
- Anyway, despite this chapter being terrible, it is a two parter which the second part will 'hopefully' be coming soon. I have been stuck on it so I won't promise anything, it might be a few days maybe even a couple weeks, but I'm gonna try to get it out as soon as possible.
- Next chapter will be a big reveal, mostly about the accident and Liz's secret injury that she has kept hidden. I feel obligated to repeat from my intro notes explain that I don't know if what is happening to Liz is actually a real thing that could happen. My research says it is, but there might be a few medical mistakes that I put in there but the gist of it is pretty simple.
- Question, does anyone wanna take a guess? Kind of curious if anyone put the pieces together.
- Also, credit for both this opening gif and the one that will be on the following chapter goes to my friend amirahiddleston ! (sorry for all the tags, I just want to make sure you get the credit you deserve for always coming through)
