IT HAD BEEN SIX YEARS since Sage Everdeen became the second Victor that called District Twelve home. In an instant Sage is placed in an impossible position; not only does he have to watch Katniss face the same horrors that he had seen six years earlier, but he isn't allowed to be her mentor and had to do his best to help his own tribute; Peeta Mellark.

For six years, Sages' saving grace has been knowing that his family was tucked away in District Twelve. But now, he may not be able to do when he set out to do six years ago.
