Isabella arrived back from the apartment's gym as she jumped into Mason,

"Kia Ora Mason!" The girl grinned as she was always happy after a day at the gym,

"What now?" Mason asked wondering what the girl had just said,

"Oh Kia Ora?" Isabella cocked her head to the side as the boy nodded,

"It's a Maori greeting, it basically means hello." The blonde explained as the boy nodded,

"Oh that's kinda cool," the footballer smiled as he made the mental note to try to learn a bit of Afrikaans or Maori in an attempt to impress the girl,

"You on your way to work?" The blonde asked seeing his signature tracksuit,

"Yea, you just got back from a lecture?" The brunette looked down to see her tote bag which had a notebook and her laptop,

"Well kinda, I went to the gym after my lecture." Sometimes if she had some time to kill, she would use it just being active in the gym.

"You enjoy running?" The footballer sent the girl a skeptical look,

"Why you make that sound so shocking?" The University student scoffed as the boy smiled,

"Because I heard you groan when you had to take the rubbish out," Mason smirked as he crossed his arms,

"Okay well that one isn't really my fault, I wasn't mentally prepared to have to carry it down the stairs." It was the day when the elevator decided to break so so having to go down the stairs was something that wasn't appealing to the blonde.

"Well if you ever need a running partner you know where to find me," the footballer smiled as he looked down to his phone,

"Tammy is here, so I have to go." He added as the girl nodded,

"Bye Mason," she waved the boy off as he smiled,

"See you later Wilson," Mason gave the girl a salute before he walked off leaving the girl to just standing by herself in the corridor,

"Damn," the Kiwi whispered under her breath as she walked back into her apartment,

Isabella walked out of her bedroom to see Asher just arriving back from somewhere,

"What are you doing back so soon?" Asher asked as she walked the girl look up from the fridge,

"I didn't have an international students session today so I used some of the time to just go to the gym." Isabella explained to the older girl who nodded,

"Are the boys coming soon?" The South African looked at the calendar to see the date that was marked in the calendar,

"No plans have actually changed, the boys play against each other in Auckland so I just said I'd go down to them as I have no lectures that week." The Kiwi smiled as she hadn't seen either of her brothers in a bit,

"So much for a good family trip," Asher joked as the girl nodded,

"Why do you think I'm flying back the evening of their game." Isabella let out a laugh knowing that at least one of her brothers weren't going to be happy.

The girls left to go collect the food leaving Mason and Isabella in the Apartment,

"Where did the girls go?" Mason asked as he walked out of the bathroom,

"They went to go get dinner, so they left us here." Isabella explained as the boy nodded,

"Mason are you trying to kill yourself?" She added as she watched the boy open the big window,

"No Bella, I am getting to the balcony so we can talk," he explained as the girl still stood there quietly,

"Would you just trust me, it's just really nice to sit out there and chat," he added honestly as the Kiwi finally moved,

"Fine but if you kill me, Asher knows to kill you." The blonde warned as they both walked up onto the terrace,

"So why exactly are we up here?" The kiwi asked as she looked up at the boy,

"Well I know next to nothing about you, and figured that we could change that." The footballer explained as the girl sent him a wary look,

"Okay so what would you like to know?" The Criminal Justice student asked as the boy smiled,

"Anything," the midfielder took a rather large gulp of this drink before motioning for the girl to continue.

"I'm the youngest of three, with two older brothers Harry and Gabriel both play rugby. One plays in New Zealand and the other plays in South Africa." Isabella explained as the boy nodded,

"Umm what else? Oh my mum works as an environmental advisor for the New Zealand government." She added before she tugged on the rings on her fingers,

"If you don't mind me asking, what about your dad?" Mason instantly assumed that it was a tough subject for the girl to talk about, so of course he decided to attack the situation with caution.

"Oh he walked out of my life when I was four months old." The blonde brushed the question off as she had quickly learnt that there was no point in getting upset about it all,

"Shit I'm sorry?" The footballer felt his heart break for the girl,

"Don't be Mason, I never knew the man and I have two older brothers who are the only male figures I ever needed growing up." The kiwi shrugged as she looked out at the view,

"So what about you?" She added turning to the boy,

"I am the eldest of two with a younger sister, Mackenzie actually goes to your University. My mum works as a baker and my dad is a business advisor." Mason explained as the girl nodded,

"Guys we're back with dinner," Amelie called out as the two looked at each other on the balcony,

"We should probably get going back inside," Isabella pointed to the apartment as the boy nodded,

"Yea we should," Mason nodded as he almost felt disappointed that the conversation was about to end.
