The end is nigh

"Are you ready now darling?" Loki asks for the third time.

You stop your pacing and take a deep breath, mentally preparing for your walk back to the control room.

"I'm ready," you assert, convinced you were not going to change your mind this time.

Loki held out his hand and smiled warmly at you. You happily take it, interlacing your fingers with his as you both walk towards the door. But as you neared, your anxiety peaked, and you swiftly turned around. Once again changing your mind.

Loki chuckled, completely expecting your reaction, but tightened his grip on your hand to prevent you from escaping.

"Come now sweetheart, put aside your unneeded shame. Let us make a move. William misses you"

You release a relenting sigh as Loki tugged you back to his side, and after spending many hours in the lavish room, he finally pushed open the doors and both of you confidently stepped out.

As you continue to walk hand in hand down the lengthy corridor, Loki decides that now is the ideal time to expose his actual motives for wanting to leave the room swiftly.

"The private room really was nice, I give Rovi that. And usually I'd love nothing more than to overstay my welcome and anger our host. But you see darling, I have a terrible craving... a deep desire....a monumental urge......to unashamedly gloat"

You suddenly stop mid stride, and give Loki a disapproving stare.

"Don't you dare Loki!"

"Oh but I must Kitten"

"I knew you were mischievous, but I didn't take you for a big meanie!" you snap.

"But he started it! He said, and I quote, 'I very nearly kept your Queen for myself.' That is mean, is it not?"

You watched as Loki tapped his foot on the ground repetitively, eagerly awaiting an answer.

"He was merely playing Loki. He wasn't serious"

Loki huffed and threw his hands in the air, giving you his back, "Of course you'd say that, you still can't see what I see. What everyone who meets you sees"

"Oh and what's that?" you ask, curious.

He slowly turns to face you and looks at you with loving eyes "That you're perfect. That you are everything one could possibly want. A comfort that people are drawn to, that when they meet you they want to keep you for themselves. But you are mine"

You saunter towards Loki with a smile on your face, and raise your hand to caress his cheek.

"Repeat that again my love, your last three words"

He furrowed his brows but did as you asked.

"You are mine" he repeated, and you smile warmly at him "Yes I am. I am yours and only yours Loki"

He grins, his heart feeling lifted at your words, and with love and adoration you place a chaste kiss on his lips "Repeat those words whenever you feel doubt, and believe it wholeheartedly my King. Because there's never a truer word said"

He let out a big sigh and linked his forehead with yours, pulling you into his body.

"You are my everything" he whispers.

"And you are my all" you reply.

As you revel in your serenity with Loki, you hear a faint cough in the distance. You peak over Loki's shoulder, and see Lint attempting to make his presence known.

Loki quickly morphed his besotted expression to that of a stern King and abruptly turned around to face him.

"Lint, all is well I presume?"

Lint bowed his head before answering "Yes my King. The commander Orc has been....um,....most engaging"

You arch a brow and cast him a questioning look, but you could see by the look on the young guards face that he was pleading with you not to make him explain his response in greater detail.

You suddenly had a nervous stomach, now too worried to enter through the double doors that led to the control room.

The thought that something was wrong caused Loki to take your hand and quicken his pace. He stood in shock as soon as he pushed open the doors. The sight causing your own eyes to expand.

"What is the meaning of this?" Loki shouted angrily.

"My King!..I, um..." Moder mumbled. "The Queen said to make the commander happy."

Loki gave you an accusatory look, and you shamelessly turned away, remembering you did ask Moder to cheer him up. But you never imagined she would go to this length to do it.

"But Skargg, you too! Why?" Loki scorned, refusing to believe that he was actually witnessing his first general engaged in rather intimate behaviour with Rovi.

"My King, was I not supposed to make the Commander happy too?" he asked in surprise, believing he was.

"No Skargg. Clearly not!" Loki shot back.

Skargg's eyes widened in shock, now disgusted with himself.

"It was Moder!" he yelled, pointing his finger at her smirking face. "She said it was a direct order to make the Commanding Orc happy!"

"I was ordered" she chuckled "but you were not."

Skargg's face slumped before a look of humiliation and self-shame swept over him, causing Moder to laugh even harder.

Skargg immediately dropped hold of Commander Rovi's feet and rushed towards her, his eyes now full of rage. She quickly let go of Rovi's freshly manicured hands and sprinted away in a mad panic, hiding behind obstacles whilst laughing mischievously.Β

"You made me wash his feet!" Skargg yelled angry. "I buffed his hard, calloused skin!" he retched. "You reduced me to being his personal maid!" he puffed. "You conniving frost rat!"

Skargg charged at Moder with outstretched arms, his fury making his blood boil.

"You're lucky our King and Queen had finished making another heir, I was going to make you sensually wash his hair next!" she blurted out before laughing in hysterics, dodging a flying chair that was hurled in her direction.

Rovi observed with glee as the boisterous pair of undisciplined soldiers rushed around the control room. He chuckled while holding his hands out in front of him, observing the cleanliness of his polished nails. Then looked down to his feet, impressed with how supple and soft Skargg made his skin. They had never polished up so good.

He cast Loki a pleased grin, relishing the look of disappointment on his face.

Loki's angered eyes drifted to Rovi sensing he was staring smugly at him. And when he locked eyes with the grinning Orc, Loki released a long drawn out growl of intimidation.

After wiping the smile from his face, Rovi slowly rose to his feet and took on an equally intimidating posture. They stared at one another, their heaving chests rising and falling in short spasms.

You giggle at Skargg and Moder behaving like prankish siblings once again. You never thought Moder would engage in girlish activities such as nail manicures. She acted more manly than Skargg most times, but it was clear now, she would push the boundaries to any level just to humiliate him.

The sounds of Loki's unruly guards causing chaos around him finally made him snap. He suddenly roared aloud, showing his extreme irritability.

Moder and Skargg immediately stopped what they were doing. Resuming a straight face and a soldiers rigid stance.

"I'm disappointed with you both. You have made a mockery of my Jotun army. Excuse yourselves immediately and ready the ship. I will seek words with you later"

Rovi shot Loki a smug smile upon hearing his disgruntled attitude towards his soldiers.

"I actually found it rather enjoyable to be treated like royalty and given a unique glimpse of your dazzling daily life, Loki"

You could almost see the scorching steam rising from Loki's flared nostrils as he snarled.

"You were merely being pacified like a pampered pet, while I was busy making love to my Queen, Rovi"

Rovi, who disliked being referred to as a typical lap dog, glared at Loki, but before he had a chance to respond, Loki continued speaking.

"And I'm thrilled you remember my name. Does the sound itself still reverberate in your ears? I know full well you heard the name Loki rattle around your ship as it bounced off the walls in her pleasure filled voice"

You release a deep sigh and mentally ready yourself for the moment Loki has been so keen to reach. The dishonourable bragging. You were already completely exhausted with their back and forth banter and it had only just began.

"Hm.. I hear it's common in the realms for the men with fragile egos to demand their women scream their name during intercourse. And the women do it to appease them, for the simple fact they can't function without constant sexual validation"

Loki growled offended, but hit back without thinking.

"And you know what I hear?" Loki said.

"What? what do you hear?!" snapped Rovi.

"I hear nothing. Absolutely nothing. You know why?...Because you're a dying breed. The end is nigh for you" he scoffs.

"Loki!" you yell, appalled with his cutting retort.

You see the utter misery on Rovi's face when you look at him. Hearing Loki's words broke his heart.

"Rovi, I'm sorry. He didn't mean it" you say saddened.

Loki observed the sorrowful look on Rovi's face and the compassionate gaze you gave him. It made him unexpectedly feel a fleeting moment of guilt over his choice of words.

You hear a soft whimper come from Rovi, and immediately it made your heart ache. You dashed towards him, and embraced his large body.

Jealousy replaced Loki's regret and automatically he beckoned you to come back to his side at once.

"Oh Loki hush. He's sad" you reply.

Loki furrowed his brow and glared "Well let me bring back Moder, and she can be in his arms, not you!"

Immediately, Rovi's face shot up upon hearing Loki's jealousy, and aimed a devilish grin towards him. Loki scrunched his face in confusion but then watched incredulously as Rovi took your face in his hands and crashed his lips against yours. Holding you in place as you struggled against him.

Only a few seconds had passed before you felt your body being violently wrenched away, and before you could process what had happened, a big brawl broke out.

"Stop it! Stop it!" you yell, seeing Loki and Rovi battle like wild animals around the large room.

They clung to each other, both not willing to lessen their grip, and none caring where their bodies were flung to.

"You kissed my Queen! You nefarious meathead!" Loki spat, trying to hurl an insult in between punches.

"I can still taste her sweet lips!" Rovi taunted, struggling to respond while avoiding a direct hit.

Loki suddenly put all his forced into a frenzied attack and both huge bodies bashed into the blinking controls, making the ship suddenly tilt.

They fell to the floor, groaning in pain, but carried on the fight. Their strengths equally matched.

The sudden movement of the vessel pushed you against the wall hard, knocking the wind out of you. You gasped and spluttered as you desperately tried to suck in air, your noises immediately grabbing the attention of Loki.

He forcefully pushed Rovi aside and ran towards you, cradling your body against his while you focussed on resuming normal breathing.

"I'm sorry darling. Are you okay?"

"No!" you snap out of breath.

"Ekeri..are you hurt?" Rovi asked, full of concern.

"Shut up! You dirty space Ogre" Loki raged.

"Get lost you cold blooded brute!" Rovi snapped back.

Rovi began walking towards you but Loki held out his arms, threatening him with a green ball of magic that hovered within his palm. Rovi immediately stilled his body, wary for himself and his people.

"Loki stop. You know magic in a confined vessel could kill us all!" you warned.

"I would not miss my mark. His sizeable body gives me an advantage"

"You'd risk killing us all over a menial kiss, you know he did it to get back at you for your awful remark. You were both in the wrong"

"Menial kiss!" Loki yelled in shock, disarming his magic and looking at you speechless.

"It was nothing Loki. Don't make a big scene. Can we just-"

"Nothing?!" he gasped, outraged. "His lips touched yours. His tongue-"

"There were no tongues!" you curtly refute.

"Even so. Your lips have been tainted with his. The image ingrained in my mind. And you calling it menial like it was nothing, just provokes me even more!" he yells angry. "I have a mind to grab any female here and plant a lingering kiss on her lips. Just so you can feel what I feel right at this moment!"

"Don't you dare!" you glare, narrowing your eyes.

Loki saw your heated stare "See. The very mention of my lips placed elsewhere but yours, stirs your jealousy"

You sigh, and take Loki's hand, giving him a frowning face. "I'm sorry my love. Of course it angers you. I shouldn't discount your feelings"

"No you shouldn't" he replied, pouting "and I think because you did, you should make it up to me" he said with a pitiful, yet suggestive frown.

You slowly turn your lips up into a smile "Oh and what do you suggest my love?"

"Well. I want all of you Kitten" he says closing the gap between you both, and snaking his hands around your waist.

"Don't you have all of me already?"

"I do" he said "and I've had all of your body. But it's been a while since I've had this"

You jolt from the sudden tight squeeze on your ass, and immediately you knew what he was referring to.

You lean in close "You want to fuck my ass?" you query in a low whisper, so low it was like a barely audible secret.

He answers with a smile, matching his tone to the same low volume as yours "I do Kitten. Very much so. Also, why are we whispering? Orcs have extraordinary hearing."

You feel a scorching flush come over your cheeks, but you dare not look over at Rovi for fear that Loki was correct.

"So, what's your answer darling?...Or should I grab Moder and plant a sensual kiss on her blue lips"

You scowled at the very mention of it and roughly pulled him in "Kiss anyone else but me, and you won't have a cock to fuck my ass or any other pleasureful hole on my body"

"So that's a yes I presume?" he smirks.

You roll your eyes, "It's a yes Loki"

"Great!" he says, feeling triumphant.

He quickly pulled you in and planted a passionate kiss on your lips, and immediately the burn of arousal shot down to your core.

"There, now I've once again marked your lips as mine" he says, breaking off with a smile.

"Butt play is rather enjoyable. May I suggest pegging" Rovi suddenly interjected.

Loki sternly turned to face him, "Not a chance in hellheim!"

You cast an inquisitive glance at Loki. It piqued your interest to see him so full of objection on the matter.

"Well now. This is something we need to explore further my love" you say with a smirk, before abruptly swatting Loki's ass, startling him.

"Carry on with your spanking Kitten and I may have to drag you back to our borrowed room once again" he purrs, pulling your body in sharply and nibbling down your neck.

"I envy you Loki" Rovi sighed, watching you both be so smitten with each other. "I don't deny that I'm jealous of you. I want what you have. To not be alone, to have my people safe in a home we call ours. To have a son to carry on my name. But not all of us are blessed with perfect lives. You've probably never felt the severe affliction that comes from all this hardship, growing up with a silver spoon in your mouth, and in a protective bubble."

You felt Loki sigh against your neck as he listened to Rovi carry on with the wrong assumptions of his life.

"He doesn't know Loki. He's not aware of your difficult upbringing" you whisper. But Loki was already angered by Rovi's presumptions, and swung around to face him.

"You have no idea how much I've been through. But please continue with your unfounded notions about the ideal life I've led, while I leave your ship with my Queen safely on my arm"

Loki turned his back and gripped your hand, leading you away.

"If I am wrong then tell me. Explain!" Rovi yelled out.

"I don't need to explain anything-" Loki replied continuing his stride towards the door.

"Ah I see, it's because I am right. A person having never felt true pain simply can't explain hurt" Rovi scoffed.

Infuriated by his remarks, Loki abruptly turned around to confront him.

"Hurt? Hurt is such an inappreciable word for the pain I've lived through. What caused this pain you wonder? How about the utter despair that crippled me when I found out I was in fact not Asgardian but Jotun. A monster, living around kings, queens, nobles and even maids that despised me. Fearing to even enter a room I resided in, incase it provoked the inner frost-scum out of me. The torment I felt for just being me was pain enough, but lets throw in a tyrant of a father who loathes you. Purposely adding fuel to my already fired up suffering each and everyday because I was a constant disappointment to him. And then the burn of self loathing that consumed me day in and day out that urged me to just end it all. But I couldn't. I wouldn't. Not because I were a coward who feared death, but because I believed I deserved to suffer the agony that is life!"

Loki shouts out his emotional anguish, causing his chest to heave, and Rovi continued to look at him in silence. Yet now he began to realise both he and Loki were comparable cast out monsters.

Loki turned to you and took your hand "I was told I could never love, or be loved, and I truly believed it. And when one believes such a thing it changes them. Makes them into the dark monstrosity all perceives them as. But then at my lowest, I found a light within my darkness. My Queen. And although I wanted her light so badly, I had become accustomed to the bleak murkiness, that I begrudgingly tried to shoo her away. But the more I pushed, the more I became a moth to the flame"

Loki continued to speak softly while offering you a tender gaze "When this small midgardian bookshop owner showed tenderness and love, I clung to it. Savouring every beautiful moment because I didn't think I'd ever be lucky enough to have this forever. But when we declared our love for each other, I knew then forever was possible. Yet our beginning was not easy, the hardships to remain together should have torn us apart. But my Queen is the strongest person I know"

You blink through tears and take Loki's hand to your lips, pressing a kiss to the middle of his palm.
"Between the wars we stood, but stood defiantly we did. Both of us fought against our injustice Loki. And we'll keep fighting until the very end. Together"

He took hold of your face and gently kissed your lips as you looked up at him.

"You loved a monster darling, but saved him at the same time"

Not only did Rovi observe the deep love between you both, but he also felt it. It gave off an aura of romance that permeated the entire area.

"I apologise for my wrong assumptions" Rovi admitted, sincerely "I didn't realise your life or relationship had contained many challenges"

Loki looked at him puzzled, he never believed he'd hear an apology from someone as stubborn as him.

"I understand now why you're so protective over Ekeri. Your love is constantly being thwarted like star crossed lovers. No wonder you're suspicious of everyone's motive when they befriend her. I understand, I too would behave this way."

"She is the torch that guides me out of my darkness, but each time I almost lose her, I sink back into the depth of it"

"Then I pray you never lose her" Rovi sighed. "I am sorry that I displayed pettiness and kissed your Queen. If you must know, I felt no arousal come from her. Plenty from me, but none from Ekeri. She does not desire me in that way"

You saw Loki clench his fists at the reminder of the kiss, as well as Rovi's admittance of his own arousal. But you quickly take hold of his hand and calm his rage, knowing Rovi was just being sincere.

"I hope we can still have an alliance and that my actions have not broke our agreement"

Loki blinked with confusion.

Rovi noticed Loki's mystified expression, and immediately arched an eyebrow in shock, realising you hadn't told him.

"Ekeri? You did speak with your king didn't you?"

Loki gave you a questionable look and you nervously pick at your fingers in response.

As soon as Loki didn't respond positively, Rovi sighed and lowered his shoulders. Believing he wouldn't agree.

Loki observed his dejection and although he was unaware of the terms of your agreement with him, he trusted your actions.

"The fact that you defied my father and protected my Queen, is warrant enough to grant you whatever she has promised"

Rovi shot his head up and stared in disbelief at Loki, and when Loki extended his arm to confirm the agreement, Rovi's mouth dropped open. He stood in stunned silence contemplating whether it was a practical joke.

"Pssst... take his hand Commander"

You turn to face the low voice that was just whispering, and you see Nordak, Goji, and Zenn on the other side of the room, their wide eyes glued to the scene. You wondered how long they had been there.

Rovi noticed how eagerly they were pleading for him to accept his hand. Finally, while grinning, he took Loki's hand firmly in his and began to shake, forging a new alliance with Jotun's and Orcs.

"Welcome to Jotunheim!" you squeal, clapping your hands together in happiness.

"What!" Loki exclaimed, immediately turning to face you with an expression of bewilderment on his face.

You giggled, taking his face in your hands, "This is going to be great!" you beam. "Trust me."

Loki leaned his forehead against yours and sighed, and with a nervous swallow of uncertainty, he nodded.

"Now, I really miss our son dearly" you smile "Let's go home"

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”

"Are you sure touching it won't cause a big explosion or something. William is asleep in the next room, it's safe right?" you ask with trepidation.

"Perfectly safe darling. The spear is connected to the force that flows through you. It won't react to your touch in a negative way. Just think of Huggin as you touch it" Loki reassured.

You breathe in deeply and extend your arm.

"Good luck my Queen" Skargg said, his face full of worry.

"Thanks Skargg" you say warily, but as you reach closer you see Skargg's face grimacing more and more.

"Your fearful expression is not helping Skargg!" you exclaim, feeling even more hesitant.

"Sorry. I shall look away" he replied, covering his face with his hand.

"You're such a big baby" Moder scoffed, rolling her eyes. But Skargg, still feeling disgruntled, chose to keep ignoring her, and now peaked through his open fingers.

"Stop ignoring me" she snapped annoyed "I said I'm sorry!"

The only action that genuinely irritated Moder was Skargg's repeated use of silence. But as soon as Skargg learned of this, he vowed to keep it up until she physically grovelled.

"On the count of three sweetheart" Loki said, before beginning the countdown.

"One"
.
.
.
"Two"
.
.
.
"Three!"

You force a breath in and reach out to touch the glowing spear while immediately picturing Huggin. However, when you entered your thoughts and combed through what appeared to be an enormous mountain of Odin's wisdom and his closely held secrets, your expression grew glum.

"What is it darling, tell me what you see?" Loki asks, growing concerned by the look of frustration on your face.

"It's a jumbled mess. I can't focus on anything"

"Think of Huggin. Order the force that runs inside the magical weapon to show him to you"

You proceed to do as Loki said, calling out for Huggin, and each time you did the view in front of you became a bit more clearer, making a path within the middle of the piles of unneeded information.

You see yourself moving along the clearing following where your instincts tell you, until you come to a single black feather that now lay in front of you.

"Huggins feather" you smile, reaching for it, but a ominous voice bellowing out from behind you, made you stop.

"Talk to me sweetheart. Tell me everything you're viewing" you heard Loki's disembodied voice echo out in the distance of your consciousness.

"I hear someone yelling. Pleading for me, but it's not Huggin"

"Ignore it sweetheart. Just find the object that is linked to Huggin. When you find it, touch it and it will unlock key information" Loki instructs.

"I found his feather. But the pained voice. It's calling me. I need to go and check"

"No Mina don't" Loki pleaded.

"But Lok-"

"It's Odin! Please don't sweetheart. Do not go to him. If you see where I put him, and the suffering he is enduring, you will truly think me a monster"

Your heartbeat quickened, and you hesitantly retreated from the begging calls that were now audibly screaming. Brutal howls that reminded you of the damned souls in hell. You instantly turn around and reach for the black feather, tightly clutching it in your hand, choosing this time not to defy Loki.

Immediately your mind opens up a whole new view, and you gasp as you're thrust outside a familiar place.

"Darling, speak to me" Loki urges, hearing your sudden gasp.

"I did what you said. I ignored Odin's cries"

"Good girl" Loki exhales with relief. "Where are you now?"

"I'm outside a wooded area Loki, but I know this place. It's the perilous woods. He's here, inside. I can feel him"

Loki furrowed his brow confused "Why would he not simply leave?"

A sudden rush of wind flitted through the trees, drawing out Huggin's voice, "Unlock the door Flower."

"What door?" you ask puzzled.

You quickly turned around in response to a loud noise coming from behind you to see a big black door materialise. You were frozen, your heart beating faster as a profound sense of panic swept over you upon hearing a tapping coming from the other side.

The tapping grew louder and more erratic the longer you ignored it. Up until someone on the other side started pounding so loudly that your entire body jumped. You slowly began to back away from the black door, which now appeared to be beating like a pulsing heart.

"That's not the door I should open" you said fearful.

"Let me out!!" yelled Odin's familiar voice, yet it was different. Each syllable contained all the misery and suffering he was experiencing. You felt only a tiny glimpse of it, and that was enough to swarm your heart into despair. You knew then that in his desperation, he made an attempt to convince you that this was the door Huggin required to be unlocked.

It seemed even though he was imprisoned inside theΒ  subconscious, he could hear your every action due to his connection to the spear.

"Please let me out" he whimpered on the other side.

You had to push aside the shared feeling of hopelessness so that you could concentrate on finding Huggin, you turned from the door and began to walk away.

"MERCY!" he bellowed out.

His howls tugged at your sympathy but more so at your piqued curiosity. Then, as if your legs were guided by your emotion, you spun back around and walked closer until your nose almost touched the door.

"Odin" you whisper.

There was an unnerving silence in place of his cries and knocking, and you paused, waiting for his reply.

He whispered back in a ghostly voice, "Let me out Mina"

"Explain why you tried to have me killed and what you have done to Huggin? Tell me, and I may help you"

Odin, eagerly willing to disclose all information at a chance to escape his hellish torment, began to speak against the other side of the door.

"I believed you had deceived me. When Huggin vanished, I genuinely looked for him. Using my map, I followed his whereabouts. But what I noticed astounded me. I observed not one, but two ravens. Huggin was present with Munnin in the magical woods, where he was alive"

"Munnin is alive?" you gasped.

The realisation that Munnin was still alive filled you with a flood of feelings. You were bombarded with questions. Eager to learn how he survived his terrible injuries and fall.

"Your gasp is further proof of how very wrong I was. I thought you and Loki had intentionally misled me about Munnin's passing. Instead, I thought you were going to keep both of my ravens for yourself. I went to the forest to order them to return to Asgard, but the woods were now open, my power had been reversed. You somehow managed to unlock it."

You instantly recalled the time you were in the woods and a rush of magic flowed out of you, it must have unlocked the entire forest.

"Every creature that was within the perilous wood were allowed to roam free. And they did, escaping the forest that had served as their prison for countless years. It wasn't trolls robbing the peasants, it was the very monsters you let go free" he paused, abruptly going silent as though something had approached and scared him. A few chilling seconds pass before he pressed his lips closer to the door and continued to whisper "I sealed the forest once more, making sure that everything still within remained hidden, including Huggin and Munnin. However, I sent my guards inside to fetch them, and when they did, what they saw stunned them. They saw several more ravens present in addition to Munnin and Huggin"

"More Ravens!" you exclaim in shock.

Huggin must have been drawn to the woods because he could hear their voices calling out to him for help. Munnin and the incredibly few raven genocide survivors who had managed to flee.

"In my anger, I went insane. I hastily ordered your death. However you must understand, I believed you were aware of the ravens presence. I thought you planned to lead all the ravens and combine them with frost giants to overthrow Asgard. I knew that my soldiers would be powerless to oppose such a force"

"You attempted to assassinate me on the mistaken belief that Loki and I would force these ravens, who have lived awful lives, to engage in combat. For what end..to seize control of Asgard? Do you realise how absurd that sounds. You are a deluded, old tyrant."

"Yes, I see that. I now recognise my error. Please forgive me, let me go" he pleads "I'll make it up to you, and Loki. I swear, I will"

"But what door do I need to open" you ask, dismissing his pleas.

"The forest entrance is the door. I locked it again, forcing them to stay in. However, since all of the creatures fled when you opened it, there are no longer any animals to eat."

"So, your strategy was to starve them to death and force them to submit to your obedient allegiance or perish slowly and painfully!" you shout angrily.

He didn't say anything at first, but eventually his low voice spoke "Yes"

"You evil bastard. Have you no heart!!"

"Ssh!!.. For the love of mercy please lower your voice. Do not draw them to me" he begs, his voice visibly shaken.

You begin to wonder what exactly roams within his hellish prison with him. What is he so terrified of.

He cautiously moves closer to the door, clinging to it while resuming a barely audible whisper.

"I realise my mistake. But I told you everything. I admitted my wrongs. Simply go to the Enchanted Wood and unlock it. That is the door, your force is the key. They will be free should they still be alive. Release me and we can go together. I will help you"

You deliberately scoff loudly, while backing away from the door "Loki really did put you in a place where you are truly suffering, didn't he. You'd never beg otherwise" you say, the amusement evident in your loud tone.

Odin started frantically hammering on the door as soon as he heard your voice grow distant. His cries and pleas becoming even louder than before, except now you hear additional voices who seemed to have heard him. They crept up on him, and pulled him away, grabbing his flailing body away from the door, thwarting his last effort of escape.

"Maybe someday I will grant you mercy. But not yet. You deserve your suffering Odin"

Immediately after you finished speaking, the huge door vanished. Odin's voice trailed off in frightful cries, and Loki's anxious sounds started to fade in.

"Answer me Kitten!"

You pull your mind from the force of the spear and come to, awakening with Loki's arms wrapped around you.

He peered at you, fraught with concern "Darling, what happened? You stopped talking to me and remained motionless.

"I know where Huggin is, but we need to be quick"

"Asgard?"

"Yes Loki, Asgard" you sighed.
