So much had happened within two weeks and Cordelia could barely find herself keeping up with all of it. Elena had taken charge of working with Bonnie to break the Moonstone spell, Damon keeping watch over the Gilbert doppelgänger after her sacrifice attempt. Meanwhile, Cordelia had been studying the Saturn Grimoire, learning the spells that she had never seen in the Bennett Grimoire; some of them were beyond the natural realm they lived in. She wasn't stupid, she wouldn't use them without caution, focusing on the warnings that came with the spells as she didn't want to overexert herself or accidentally blow up the entire town. And with Stefan hovering around her, she couldn't really do much else.

Due to their concerns, Damon had Elena trapped in the Gilbert home with Bonnie's help however, unfortunately for everyone, Bonnie's magic wasn't enough against Cordelia who broke through her own seal within seconds. Thankfully for all of them, Liz Forbes was the only person who could actually tell her daughter to stay put; the young Forbes listened and begrudgingly stayed home where she just worked between studying for school and studying for magic. Obviously, Caroline and Jeremy had been upset with the blonde's actions and didn't fail to verbalise it whenever they were around. Tyler though was a little more preoccupied with the upcoming full moon and the lack of Mason's presence only to be startled by the arrival of Mason's friend, Jules.

It wasn't long before Cordelia and Jules had a run in of their own, the blonde wolf immediately felt the presence of the Starlight, she sneered harshly at her as she left the grill leaving the Starlight to approach Damon and Alaric, both of which caught the interaction. It wasn't long before Elijah finally confronted Elena, though the way he went about it caused discomfort for the Gilbert girl who instantly told Cordelia. The blonde was sure there had to be a spell that would lock a vampire out, she find it or hell, she'd create it. Based on what Elijah expressed to Elena, he told her all about the real curse on Klaus. During this, Caroline was helping Tyler with his first transformation into a wolf; And it terrified him.

Cordelia walked into the Salvatore home to find Damon sitting in the library with a glass of bourbon in hand. "Alaric called and told me about Jules' little threat," Cordelia told Damon as she moved to sit next to him, the Grimoire in her hand before she placed it down. "I'm not too worried about it. Thought you were angry with me," Damon replied as he sipped his drink. "Damon, you're one of my best friends, I'm not angry, I'm upset that you all don't trust my plan," Cordelia explained to him with a tired sigh. "Well, it'd be helpful if you told us your plan, huh?" Damon told her as he ruffled her hair, she shoved his hand away and laughed softly. "It's simple, Dames. The prophecy tethers me to Klaus, I guess... I just figured he might listen to me," Cordelia answered in a small voice, doubts forming.

"But based on what Elijah told Elena, he cares more about this ritual than his soulmate. You heard Elena, Emerald. Klaus only wants you so he can lock you away and prevent others from using you against him, he doesn't actually care about you. Elijah said it himself," Damon reminded the blonde of what Elena had been told by Elijah, the words stung at Cordelia's chest in a way she hadn't expected. "Yeah, I know... but I doubt any witch he has is more powerful than me," Cordelia teased making Damon roll his eyes fondly before the sound of glass shattering echoed through the room. Both jumped up to investigate only to see a wolf leap through the window into the living room, snarling and growling as it focused on Damon.

Damon grabs a sword from the wall and swings it out to keep the wolf at a distance, Cordelia uses her magic to throw Damon out of the way; the wolf jumps on her, pushing her to the ground on her back, and chomps down harshly on the blonde's shoulder. Damon's heart clenches at the scream of pain that tore from Cordelia's throat, the power sent the wolf flying across the room before it jumped up and escaped. Damon drops down next to Cordelia and holds her up, brushing her shirt aside to reveal the bite. His brows furrow in confusion seeing strange veins forming around the bite, Cordelia whimpers, "Damon... wolf venom affects Starlights too... not fatal but..." Cordelia's breathing became shallow as Damon lifted her into his arms.

"You'll be okay... I promise," Damon whispered to her, she had saved him once again. The pain burning through Cordelia was causing her to grit her teeth, she began shaking and her skin became cold to the touch as Damon laid her down in Stefan's bed. "Will blood help?" Damon asked her but the blonde shook her head, the Saturn Grimoire stated clearly that wolf venom was like a severe allergic reaction for most, for others, it was like a severe case of influenza. "What can I do?" Damon asked, he felt guilty for angering the wolf. "Water..." Cordelia asked as she coughed, Damon rushed to get her a bottle of water, holding her head up so she could sip it. Stefan showed up rubbing his shoulder, his eyes focused on Cordelia instantly. "What happened?!" Stefan asked as he rushed over to sit with Cordelia.

"Wolf visit from Mason's friend... Cori protected me from being bitten," Damon answered as he stood up, guilt swam in his steel blue eyes. "It's okay, Dames. I'll be okay," Cordelia reassured him, "Better me than you dying." Damon lowered his gaze before leaving, he couldn't watch her suffer because of his actions; not after everything she had done for him. "It's not his fault," Cordelia whispered to Stefan as the younger Salvatore worked to clean the bite, the strange veins around it made him feel uneasy. "I know..." Stefan replied softly, applying a bandage to keep the wound clean. "Stay with me," Cordelia pleaded, Stefan didn't hesitate to wrap her up in his arms. "I'm never leaving you again," Stefan promised the blonde as she fell asleep.

With Cordelia out of commission due to her weakened state, the remaining Mystic Falls Scooby Gang was left to handle everything on their own. Stefan refused to leave Cordelia's side, the coughing fits to the point of vomiting blood and the pain that left her screaming, he couldn't bare the thought of leaving her alone. Caroline kept herself and Tyler distracted focused on the fact that Samuel Winters had involved himself when he protected Caroline from an aggressive Tyler, revealing that he was a warlock ─ more specifically, a Syphon. It was through this that Tyler had revealed Samuel's crush on Caroline, the older Forbes twin taken by surprise but happily accepting the offer of a date.

Liz was focused on helping Alaric and Damon deal with Jules, though Damon just wanted to rip her apart; Liz wouldn't let him. This left Elena and Jeremy working together to locate Isobel after a conversation with Katherine lead to a helpful drop of advise. Unfortunately however, Tyler had been informed by Jules about Mason's death which lead to him confronting Caroline who was taken by Jules and her pack. Cordelia had been sleeping when she startled awake, a strange pressure in her head that hadn't been there before. "Cori?" Stefan muttered sleepily, he gently grabbed her hand before noticing her eyes were flickering between blue and a pink before she threw the blankets off. "Cori!" Stefan jumped up to follow her but she wasn't listening.

Caroline woke up in a cage in Brady's RV, a bullet entry wound on her forehead. She screams a little as she digs the bullet out of her head and numbly drops it. She tries to unlock the cage, but sees Brady and stops. "I see you got that bullet out. That was nasty. I got lots of wooden bullets, other toys. It's gonna be a long night, sweet pea," Brady taunted the vampire. "My sister is stronger than anything in this world, she will come for me and you will suffer her wrath. And trust me, it may look pretty but it'll burn," Caroline threatened with a sneer, Brady laughed mockingly doubting her words before he raised his gun and shoots her in the chest; completely unaware that his action had lead death directly to him.

Stefan had lost Cordelia in the woods and it wasn't long before Tyler confronted him. "Damon killed Mason?" Tyler asked Stefan with a glare. "No, Tyler. He was going too but Cordelia saved him. He took off cause he wanted to escape Jules and her pack," Stefan told him truthfully, pulling out his phone and dialing a number. "Stefan?" Mason's voice came through, "Is everything alright? How's Tyler doing?" Tyler felt his heart drop into the pit of his stomach before he spoke, "Mason, it's Tyler." It was silent for a moment before Mason spoke, "How are you holding up, Tyler? I'm sorry." Stefan let them talk for a moment before Tyler lead Stefan towards Jules and her pack. A call with Jules had pushed them to hurry due to Caroline's predicament, her scream caused both of them to worry for their friend.

"How many vampires are there in this town anyway?" Brady asked Caroline as she cried, the pain of wooden bullets in her body was becoming too much. She doesn't answer him so he shoots her with a toy gun filled with vervain causing her to scream out. "Why are you doing this to me!?" Caroline asked. "You're a vampire. Why not?" Brady asked like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Brady continued to torment Caroline who continued to scream at him until he grew bored and walked out to join Jules outside. "Get it out of your system?" Jules asked unimpressed. "No, I'm just getting started," Brady answered with a smirk. "Brady, let's be smart about this. I just want the boy. It's our duty to help him, it's who we are," Jules argued against his plans.

"You want to talk about duty and honour? These are vampires. They cross one of us, they cross all of us. That's who we are," Brady reminded his lover. "And the Starlight? I don't think she'd be too happy about you killing her sister," Jules snapped at Brady who scoffed. "You bit her, Jules. I doubt she'll have any strength right now. She's not the one, she's just another common ball that'll fade out like the rest," Brady reassured Jules but the woman didn't trust those words. Brady soon left Jules to her thoughts, it was a small time span when she felt the presence of others arriving. "I know you're out there," Jules spoke tauntingly. "Where's Caroline?" Stefan asked as he and Tyler walked out of the woods into the light.

"Locked up tight," Jules answered with a smirk. "Let her go, and I'll release Tyler," Stefan stated, he and Tyler shared a subtle glance that Jules missed as Stefan continued, "It doesn't have to get any messier than it already has. I'm not your enemy, Jules." Jules scoffed at his words, she wasn't amused by him at all. "It's a little late to be waving the white flag, don't you think?" Jules asked him. "You need to leave town. No one has to get hurt," Stefan expressed. "I'm not leaving without Tyler," Jules snapped at him. "Tyler is free to make his own decisions, as soon as you release Caroline," Stefan replied to her as Damon arrived having gotten a call from Stefan. "My brother, the peacemaker," Damon spoke up, his darkened stormy blues glaring at the wolf who bit his best friend, his humanity.

"Since Stefan got here before me, I'm gonna let him try it his way before I resort to my way, which is a little bloodier. So give us Caroline," Damon warned the wolf. "Let go of Tyler," Jules demanded. "Give us Caroline. Without a full moon, it's not an even fight and you know it. We will take you," Damon threatened the she-wolf. "I'm not so sure about that, tough guy," Jules replied with a smug smirk, she whistles, and the rest of her pack walk out from their hiding places, all holding weapons including stakes, cross-bows and a flame-thrower. "Let's try this again. Give us Tyler," Jules demanded. "You heard her. Go. Get over there," Damon told the teen wolf who walked over to Jules. "Which one of you killed Mason?" Brady asked but before Damon could speak, another did.

"Mason ran from you useless, pathetic, pups," Cordelia's voice broke through the silence as she approached, her appearance seemed so calm and collected but the flicker of blue and pink in her eyes said otherwise. "Now, I'm only going to ask once, mutt, give me my sister," Cordelia warned, her eyes locked on Jules who was cowering away. "Kill her," Brady ordered and the pack rushed forward. Stefan moved to fight one of the wolves that rushed him while Damon went for Jules, Tyler rushing into the RV to help Caroline as he and Stefan planned. Cordelia fought against two wolves, blocking punches and hitting each target. The wind around them began to pick up as the clouds swirled in the sky similar to how a tornado or hurricane would form.

Cordelia felt the electrical tingles nipping at her nerves, she noticed how lightning struck through the sky flickering between the two colours of blue and pink; a battle of balance. Using magic to throw the wolves away, Cordelia closed her eyes and held out her palms facing the stormy sky. "Saturne, nunc audi me. Saturne, magna me audi. Inventa est anima mea, custodia tua ligata est. Vobis opto, Saturne, vires sinite elope," Cordelia spoke, her voice echoing through the woods like a powerful siren. Rose Gold mist formed around her, circling the space like a protective shield before the Starlight opened her eyes to reveal a Rose Gold shine that sent shivers down the spines of all watching. Caroline and Tyler leaned back against the RV watching in awe as the mist circled the area before suddenly being consumed by Cordelia.

Everything was silent for a moment before Cordelia released a powerful shout, the mist shot out of her body and struck the hearts of the wolves ─ except Jules and Brady who managed to drop to the ground ─ killing them instantly before their bodies faded to dust. The wind stopped instantly with the magic, the clouds disappeared from the sky leaving behind a beautiful view of the stars above. Jules and Brady managed to escape as Cordelia dropped to her knees, breathing deeply as she sat unaware of Jonas witnessing her accepting the power of Saturn. Stefan rushed over to Cordelia and pulled her into his arms, she happily snuggled into his chest while Damon checked on Caroline, sharing a nod of respect with Tyler. "It healed..." Stefan whispered noticing the bite was gone.

Cordelia has fully accepted her power, y'all aren't gonna be prepared for this!
( she still has weaknesses and enemies so shut up about the "mary sue" and the "if she's powerful, do something" comments )
