Adelaide had settled for peace in the Safe Haven, until she realized her old friends would keep her company. With a difficult past and the incapacity to speak, she attempts to put things back together.

The one that seems least appealing of all ends up helping her more than anyone else could, understanding her experiences with their friends.

Everything is perfect: the Safe Haven manages to put their hands on important electronics, like simulations and software to help produce the cure... only to realize a new, advanced threat unleashes, the source unknown.

The former Gladers must navigate through the Safe Haven's island, full with symbols, dangers, and disturbing truths. Friendships break into pieces, and so may people.

Or maybe the other way around.

Hi, welcome (back)! Most of you already know how this will go, but as always, I'll mention a few important things!

— My name is Vera and my first language is not English. Please let me know if there are any grammar mistakes or if you have tips in general!

— This book will not contain smut. I usually add a few spicy/fade-to-black scenes but I'm not sure if I'll add it to this one as well. Let's just see how it goes :)

— Aside from Adelaide, most parts of the plot, and some side characters, all credits go to James Dashner and Wes Ball.

— Don't be afraid to spam the comments, I don't mind at all. I love it, in fact. And even though I don't always reply to comments, I do read pretty much all of them.
