𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐇 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐄. She was the sunniest soul in a place wrapped in shadows and mischief, where kindness was scarce and suspicion lurked in every corner. Despite her surroundings, Elizabeth always managed to find light — even when it was barely a flicker.

Her smile seemed almost out of place in the damp alleys and fog-covered streets, and she had an uncanny knack for finding the best in everyone, even those who scoffed or sneered at her bright outlook.

For Elizabeth, life on the Isle had been a lesson in patience and resilience. She believed that everything happened for a reason, no matter how challenging. Her perspective was a rare one, filled with hope, which the other villain kids didn't understand and occasionally mocked.

Most residents whispered that she must be an Auradon spy — how else could someone so cheerful survive here? Her mother, the Queen of Hearts, only deepened this suspicion, disapproving of her daughter's unyielding optimism and cheerful nature.

"Don't embarrass me, Elizabeth," her mother would snap, every time she caught a glimmer of kindness in Elizabeth's actions. But that constant need for approval chipped away at Elizabeth's spirit.

She wanted to make her mother proud, yet she struggled to embrace the twisted values her mother cherished. Now, she saw an opportunity to make a difference. Joining Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos on a mission to Auradon wasn't just about proving herself; it was a chance to bring freedom to the Isle, something she believed everyone deserved.

But as Elizabeth stood beside the limo, a wave of nerves swept over her. This was her first time leaving the Isle, and the unknown felt like a vast ocean looming before her.

Her mother's voice cut through her thoughts sharply. "Remember, Lizzie," the Queen of Hearts said, narrowing her gaze. "You are a Heart, and Hearts do not show weakness. Do not embarrass me in Auradon."

Elizabeth swallowed, nodding, though her mother's words weighed heavy on her heart. "I won't, Mother," she murmured, more to herself than anyone else, as her mother turned away without so much as a farewell or a loving glance. No "I love you," not even a simple "Goodbye."

She sighed and stepped into the limo, a curious glint sparking in her eyes as she admired the plush, luxurious interior. Soon, Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay joined her. They all glanced around, eyes wide, captivated by the jars filled with colorful candies.

Carlos and Jay immediately dove into them, stuffing their mouths with sweets. Elizabeth and Evie exchanged smiles, each selecting a stick of rock candy — pink for Elizabeth, blue for Evie — and traded bites, eyes widening in delight at the sugary taste.

Evie then turned to Mal, pulling out a makeup brush. "You're looking a little washed out. Let me help you," she said with a gentle smile, brushing Mal's cheek. Mal batted her hand away, muttering, "I'm. . . plotting."

Elizabeth giggled, teasing, "Well, plotting isn't exactly your best look." She and Evie exchanged a knowing smile, savoring their shared moment before both of them turned to explore the candy options again. Elizabeth's eyes caught on a rainbow candy rope that Jay handed her, and she took a bite, marveling at the flavor.

She had found her new love for candy.

"These. . . it's salty like nuts, but it's sweet like I don't know what." Carlos said, pointing at the peanut butter cup in his hand. He then took another bite, but as soon as he pulled it away from his lips, Jay grabbed it from his hand and put the whole thing in his mouth before Carlos could even interfere.

The limo was alive with laughter and banter until a strange sensation interrupted their joy. They noticed the limo approaching the edge of the island, nothing but open water ahead. "Guys, look!" Elizabeth cried, pointing toward the barrier.

Panic set in as Carlos screamed, "It's a trap!" They all squeezed their eyes shut, bracing for a crash. But to their amazement, a golden bridge materialized under the limo, lifting them up and over the waters.

"It must be magic," Evie whispered, her eyes wide with awe.

Elizabeth was mesmerized, gazing out at the shimmering bridge. "It's beautiful," she breathed, her heart swelling with wonder at the idea that magic like this could be real.

Turning around, Mal tapped the remote on the windowsill, getting the driver's attention. "Hey!" Mal exclaimed, making the driver look at her through the mirror. "Did this little button just open up the magic barrier?"

"No, this one opens the magic barrier." He replied, holding up another remote. "That one opens my garage. And this button . . ." He trailed off, pressing another button as he looked back at the villain kids.

The group all watched as the tinted window that separated them slowly closed back up, causing Mal to let out a small laugh and turn back around with her arms crossed. "Okay. . . nasty. I like that guy."

When they finally reached Auradon, they stepped out into the golden sunlight. The campus was a fairytale come to life, with its grand towers and lush gardens, bathed in the warm glow of the morning.

A marching band welcomed them, playing a triumphant tune as students gathered around. But the moment was quickly interrupted by Jay and Carlos wrestling on the ground over a mysterious object, causing Elizabeth to cringe with embarrassment.

Jay was standing in front of Carlos, his foot pressed onto his chest to keep him on the ground as he yanked on whatever the other boy was holding.

"You got everything else, why do you want whatever this is?" Yelled Carlos.

Pulling harder on it, Jay grunted. "Because you want it!" He yelled back, "Give it to me!"

Elizabeth stood beside the two boys, her hands held together in front of her as she stood awkwardly, looking at the crowd that was watching them. Giving the boys little glances, she felt herself embarrassed of the scene they were causing.

As they continued to fight and bicker, Elizabeth looked over at them once more before looking down at the ground in embarrassment, seeing as people were approaching them.

Fairy Godmother appeared; hands raised to calm the audience. "Guys, we have an audience!" Mal whisper-yelled, and the five teens scrambled to compose themselves.

Jay awkwardly hauled Carlos to his feet, and Fairy Godmother, watching their antics with a tight smile, said, "Leave it like you found it. And by that, I mean just leave it." Jay grudgingly tossed his loot back into the limo, and Mal attempted a smile in the face of the awkwardness.

Elizabeth took the chance to look around, taking in every detail of Auradon. Her eyes fell upon a boy standing nearby, a warm smile on his face as he observed them. He was striking, with a confidence in his stance that made him look every bit the prince.

Elizabeth's cheeks flushed slightly, captivated by his gentle gaze.

The spell was broken as Jay, ever the flirt, sauntered up to a nearby girl, confidently introducing himself with a smirk. "Hello, foxy." said Jay, stepping up to a nearby girl who stood beside Fairy Godmother, the prince on the other side of her. Crossing his arms, Jay smirked at her. "The name's Jay."

She let out an awkward laugh as she looked at him, though he just continued to smile at her with his arms crossed in front of his chest. Fairy Godmother looked back at the girl, then leaned her head in front of her with a wide smile. "Welcome to Auradon Prep."

His smile was wiped from his face, and he took a step back as Fairy Godmother continued. "I'm Fairy Godmother. Headmistress."

"The Fairy Godmother?" Questioned Mal, her eyes widening. "As in bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?" She added, waving her hand around as if she was holding a wand.

Fairy Godmother nodded, "Bibbidi-bobbidi you know it!"

"Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella," she began, "When you just appeared out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile. And that sparkly wand."

Fairy Godmother smiled; a hand placed over her heart. "That was a long time ago. And as I always say, don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future!"
