Chapter 5
(A/N: WARNING, this chapter has the nudity I spoke of! It's literally the 2nd paragraph! So, ya. Don't say I didn't warn ya)
Also, for my non-english readers. A birthday suit means the person is naked. It's an older term- so I guess I wouldn't be surprised if even my English readers aren't familiar with it.
Also, this is the board Jenny shows Carter. (Art By Yours Truly)

Jenny kept looking at me surprised, after a few seconds of this face, it transformed to a calm, and confident one. She seemed like a completely different person, as if her original personality was nothing more than a pathetic mask she used. Like an actor, changing once they left the stage.
My fur began to disappear, then- my tail and cat ears followed. I grew to my original height, (4'9ft or ~1.55Meters) and quickly- I became my human self. I looked down, realizing I was in my birthday suit. "Oh my- uh, this isn't what it looks like!" I said quickly in a panicked tone, as I covered my groin with my hands. I didn't have clothes too quickly put on, so instead I ran to Jenny's bed, and went to the opposite side so Jenny couldn't see my naked body.
"Chill out, would ya," Jenny said walking to her closet bar. She grabbed a red shirt, which had a crown in a dark red color. Then walked to her slabs where the pants were and grabbed a pair of light blue jeans. She then walked back over to the bed where I was, and threw the shirt and jeans at me. "I would give you boxers, but I don't have any," She muttered, turning away.
"I- uh.. thanks," I replied weakly, putting the clothes on quickly. 'This is one crazy day, first I was turned into a cat, and now this,' I thought to myself looking over at Jenny. "Aren't you surprised at all?" I asked her, confused. Jenny seemed abnormally calm. As if this kind of thing happens every single day. If I was in the same position, I probably would have had a heart attack.
"Not really, my family are magic users after-all, well- except my father," She said shrugging. Saying this nonchalantly, as if this was common knowledge. "How do you think we're so rich?" Jenny asked.
"I- I thought your parents just had really good jobs.." I said quietly, "But- how? Weren't all magical relics supposed to have vanished or something?"
"You're asking this, even though you have your own spell book?" Jenny asked, raising an eyebrow. Looking at me as if I just replied something a pathetic child would say.
I thought about this, "Then- why did everyone say the items vanished?" I asked.
"So we could keep them all. Sagertio wanted it all, and they got just that," Jenny replied shrugging. "I'm not sure how you found one though, I guess they missed it."
"You work with Sagertio?!" I was surprised, I knew there were theories the Pecunia's were criminals, but I didn't expect them to work with murderers. Especially Mr. Pecunia, he seemed more of an innocent nerd.
"Not work, apart," She replied.
"But- how?" I asked, still in shock.
"It's a family type thing, my Mom is apart, my Grandpa, my Great Grandpa, and Great Grandmother was, and so on," Jenny replied shrugging.
Footsteps were then heard, they were loud- and sounded to be coming towards the room we were in. They were frequent, meaning the person was running quickly. "Dinner is ready!" A familiar voice boomed. It was Mr. Pecunia..
"Shit," Jenny muttered looking over to the door. "¡tiçãJeæ×ssà, ķck¡¡Œã!" Jenny said quickly, a black arrow then shot into my forehead. It made a loud noise, like a bang. It didn't hurt, it only felt warm. As if I was sitting next to a fire, but instead of the fire staying stationary, it directed its flames towards that very spot the arrow hit. The heat began to lower throughout my body, gaining in strength. I closed my eyes, from a blinding light that ached my eyes. The light then disappeared as soon as it appeared. When I opened my eyes, I was on the floor. Back into my kitten form.
Mr. Pecunia then ran into the room with a worried expression on his face. Once he arrived, he held his knees and was completely out of breath. There was even sweat pouring off his skin in practically all possible areas. His hair was messy, and his clothes were wrinkly. "Wha- what's- going on?" He asked, breathing heavily.
"Nothing, everything is perfectly fine!" Jenny said returning to her bubbly personality she had on earlier. She quickly walked over to her Father, "Relax, okay?" She said. She put her back to where I was and motioned for me to come over with her right hand that was hidden from her father's view from her back.
"Bu- but I heard some sort of bang sound in here!" He countered, looking around the room as he did.
"Oh, you mean that," Jenny said nodding. She then walked over to where I was, and picked me up. "This lil stinker jumped down from on top of my bed. It sorta made a loud noise, sorry about that," She said lying through her teeth, she then began to stroke my neck to try and make it more believable. 'He can't actually believe that- can he?' I thought looking over at him, 'The lie made sense to some extent, but the sound was so loud. A normal cat couldn't make a sound like that.'
"Oh- okay," He said nodding, seeming to believe the lie. "Well, come down to eat," He said, then walking to the door, waiting there for her to follow. 'This guy truly is an idiot,' I thought.
"Okay, let's go," Jenny said, setting me back down then heading to the door. They then both walked out, closing the door.
'That was a close one,' I thought, sighing slightly. 'But now what? I don't know how to change back.. I could head back to my spell book- but the guards probably wouldn't let me go even if I did try to. I walked over to where the balcony was, it was pretty outside. It was afternoon, and the sun was setting, lighting up the sky with colors. These colors were sadly blurry, and faded. It was a shame, the view would have been amazing. I jumped up to where the hammock was. I curled up in a ball and decided to take a nap to pass the time.
After a few minutes, I was already dreaming. In it, I was walking- as a human. I wasn't sure where, just kept going.. Everything was icy. As if I was in the Arctic. I walked around alone, sliding around on the ice. The winds were strong and chilly, snow flew into my face, yet- I kept going. The sky was black, with a dishonorable appearance. As if in any second, the clouds would attack. The clouds were all shades of grey and black, seeming to go on forever, with no ending. I heard a boom from the clouds.. Then, all I saw was a bright light. My ears began to ring- then, I awoke. I opened my eyes sitting up from where I was. I was once again- human. I didn't have any clothes on, but I did have a heavy blanket on me.
"Did you have a good nap?" Jenny asked. She was sitting on a fancy wooden chair that was painted white, sipping out of a tea cup with a grin. She was wearing a light pink nightgown, it was made of some sort of silk and looked comfortable. "Guess the stereotype of all cats do is sleep is somewhat true," She snickered slightly.
I looked over at her surprised, "Uh- thanks for saving my ass back there," I said quietly. It was the first thing I thought of saying, so I said it.
"Well, it's not like I had an option. If my Father saw you, it would have been bad for the both of us," She said, sipping her tea again. She then walked into her room and came back with the clothes I had on earlier. She then threw them to me.
I nodded slightly, glad she did. Something tells me her father wouldn't have been happy with a boy who lived in the slums, to be in his home. I quickly put the clothes on, making sure I was covered at all times by the blanket so Jenny didn't see me naked. When I finally managed to get the clothes on, I sat back down on the hammock. I looked out at the sky, my vision was luckily normal now. Yet, I must've been asleep for awhile, the sky was already black. The only light being the stars from overhead.
"I never got your name, willing to share?" Jenny asked, yawning as she said this.
"Oh- it's Carter," I answered.
"Cool," Jenny said, "By the way, I only picked you up because I knew you were actually a human."
"How'd you know that?" I asked.
"You had a white aura around you," She replied, drinking from her cup again.
"White- aura?" I asked, confused.
"Geez, you really are a beginner aren't ya?" Jenny taunted.
"Well I did start today," I muttered.
"I'll explain, one second," She said standing up and walking into her room. She then came back with a board. "White, means you're a basic, meaning you just started and have never chosen a class."
"What language is that?" I asked looking at it, it definitely seemed to be similar to English, maybe had roots in Latin as well.
"You don't know what Eido' is?" She asked, sounding shocked.
"Is that bad?" I asked, tilting my head to the side.
"Well, ya. If you don't know it, you can't go to certain places. Such as the village of Carai, they sorta use it as verification," Jenny replied, "And also, if you ever wanna use spells without hauling that book, you can use verbal magic. Technically, the spell book's magic is more powerful than verbal magic, but it's more convenient."
"I guess i'll have to learn it then," I replied,
"àŒ¡çâckó ÍLiâ⌡Je!" Someone yelled from outside.
"GET DOWN!" Jenny yelled running to where I was and pushing me to the floor. Suddenly bullets began to shoot at the quartz "fencing". "Quartz is pretty much bullet proof, so we'll be fine for now," Jenny replied.
"What do they want? And what happened to the security guards?!" I asked looking through the cracks of the quartz. They all appeared to be dead, every guard was on the ground with a pool of blood beneath them. There were three men, and one woman standing in the field. All of them were shooting bullets, but had no guns. Instead, they appeared to be grabbing metal from the ground, then shooting it towards us.
"They want you dead, probably want your spell book," She muttered looking at the group, "×ç¡Œss ř×ssóLiřckãŒ!" Jenny yelled. Suddenly, water began to appear around the attackers. It shot into their mouth, then shot back out in all directions as if a porcupine shot out its own quills in all directions. The three attackers then collapsed to the floor in their own pools of blood.
Porcupine "You just killed people?!" I said shocked, 'What the Hell have I gotten myself into?' I thought to myself.
"It's either them or us, what would you prefer?" Jenny asked annoyed,
"Well- I guess them.." I muttered,
Mr. Pecunia then burst through the door, "JENNY GET OVER HERE WE'RE IN TROUBLE!" He shrieked, sounding terrified. "WAIT, WHO THE HELL IS THAT BOY?!"
"Err- well," Jenny said completely speechless. "¡ř Óçssçck!" She yelled quickly.
