■3rd Person POV■

Daichi is sitting on his post, reading some notes that he took while on patrol. Today there's no trouble at all and soon his shift will ends. Daichi looks at the clock hanged on the wall, five minutes left before he can leave. Urie walks into the post ready to take over the shift.

Urie: yo!

Daichi: ah, good evening Urie san...

Daichi is talking with Urie when the two hear a sound coming from the entrance. Daichi and Urie looks at the entrance when black hair and (e/c) eyes pops in.

Miaka: Papa!

Daichi's eyes soften at the sight of the 5 years old girl.

Daichi: Miaka

Urie: oh my, picking up your papa Miaka?

Miaka nods and shows the two officers a big smile.

Miaka: Miaka comes here on her own! I'm a big kid!

Daichi: really?

Daichi pats his daughter head and then looks at the L/N cookie shop. There in front of the shop a woman is smiling while waving her hands. Daichi couldn't help but smile, already know that Y/N is secretly watching their daughter heads to his post.

Daichi: what a brave girl Miaka... well, should we go now?

Miaka: Yes! Leggo Mama's waiting!

Daichi lifts his daughter and carries her, he says goodbye to Urie and told Miaka to do the same before heading to where Y/N is.

Daichi opens the door to the store

Shuri: Ah my handsome in law~

Daichi: goood evening mother

Shuri welcome her son in law warmly. This is like a habit of Daichi, after works he will come to the store and pick Y/N and miaka up. If he has night shift, he will help out a little in the morning and then took a nap in the afternoon before going to his post.

Another presence walks in, Shoji came with a new tray of cookie.

Shoji: oh, officer... you againn...

Daichi: hi father... let me help you with that...

Shoji just walk past Daichi and puts the tray on the counter.

Shoji: nah no need... you hurry up go home and play with your daughter... and... rest...

Daichi and Y/n exchanges glances and smile. Though Shoji act as if he was hostile to Daichi, he actually happy that Y/N's husband is a good man like Daichi. The young Sawamura couple and their daughter leave the L/N store and head to their own house.

Daichi: so how's today?

Y/N met with her college friends earlier in the afternoon, she brought Miaka with her so she can play with her friends children.

Miaka: Miaka made new friends papa! Miaka share her cookies, I'm good kid

Daichi: haha, yes, you're a good kid, you have to share with your friend...

Y/N: She was playing with the other kids happily, and she look after one of my friends 2 years old son...

One of Y/N's friends has a son and Y/N think of her son as adorable, always clinging to his mother. Y/N listen as her friends says how adorable it is to look at her son and husband who looks alike.

Y/N: She shows us the picture of her son sleeping on the toop of her husband and they looks like a person and a mini him...

Daihi stares at her daughter who happily talksabout her meetings with her friends and their children. When they arrived at home, Daichi plays with Miaka while Y/N cooks. The family then eat together both Y/N and Daichi tuck Miaka to sleep in her room.

After their daughter fell asleep, Y/N cleans up the dishes and Daichi came to help her out. The two then walks to their own room. As they're laying on their bed, Y/N is already trying o sleep while Daichi has something on his mind.

Daichi looks at his wife and then puts a arm around her body, startling her. Y/n looks at Daichi a little cconfused.

Y/N: Daichi?

Daich: say Y/N... you think that you friend's son is adorable... how about we try to get our own?

Y/N's face turns bright at the suggestion and she stuttered.

Y/N: w-wha- our own... but um even if we try... there's no guarantee that it'll be a s-son...

Daichi smiles and lean closer, kissing Y/N's cheek and forehead.

Daichi: well... i don't mind having another mini you... but, if you do want a son...

Daichi smirks and whispers on Y/N's ears

Daichi: we can always try again...

Y/N can't help herself as her kind husband bullies her her.

Daichi loves his wife dearly and always treat her nicely...

And he also cares a lot about his daughter...

Deep down he's starting to understand Shoji's feeling of having his daughter stolen by him...

But he regret nothing...

Because he now has Y/N and the mini her...

And probably a mini him...

Regardless...

The handsome officer will take care of his family and protect them dearly...
