The bright light of the morning peeked through Taehyung's curtains. This was one of the things that had woken him up, the other, was the thoughts that were eating away at his mind. After weeks and weeks of contemplation, he would finally make things right between Cho and him.

He gets ready for school and leaves quickly.

Taehyung enters the school with a large smile on his face, until he sees Cho in the arms of Jaebum. As he passes his peers, walking to Jimin, he hears their quiet conversations.

One girl says to another, "Did you know Jaebum and Cho are finally together"?

"Yeah, at least she didn't end up with someone as clingy as Taehyung".

Taehyung huffs at this statement, turning around and glaring at the girls.

"Oh... um sorry Taehyung", the girls say in unison, faces completely turning red.

Taehyung makes his way towards Cho when she is finally alone, during lunch. Jaebum was at basketball tryouts, so he had all the time he needed.

"So..... I heard about you and Jaebum", Taehyung states.

"Yeah, so has everyone, you're not special", Cho retorts.

"Why wasn't I enough, was I too clingy like everyone is saying", Taehyung's eyes reveal his pain.

"No, you were more than I could ask for, you just weren't there".

With that, Taehyung left the table, leaving Cho with Yuri.

Weeks have past, Jaebum became part of the basketball team, and him and Cho were as happy as can be.

"Taehyung, stop fiddling with your food and eat it", His oldest friend, Jin states.

"Don't worry Tae, you're too good for her", The youngest of the bunch, Jungkook, states.

"The thing is,  I'm not. She's too good for me, she's too perfect, too good to be true, and I let her slip through my fingers".

"Geez, you sound like a lovesick idiot", Yoongi states.

"Are you ready for the game today", Jaebum asks, pushing a stray hair out of Cho's face.

"You haven't won a game since the season started. What am I going to look forward to, the other team winning", Cho laughs.

"You're cute when you're mean. But seriously, you haven't been to one game, maybe you could be my lucky charm".

"Fine, I'll meet you there".

Jaebum's team proceeded to win the game that Friday night.

Walking to the bleachers, wiping the sweat off of his forehead with a towel, Jaebum yells, "I told you that you were my lucky charm".

"Mhm...  Congrats", Cho states,  pulling Jaebum into a kiss.

As they pull apart, they notice Mark Tuan,  the captain, walking over to them, towel around his neck, jersey in hand.

"Celebratory Party at my house tomorrow, I better see both of you there", Mark states, winking at Cho before exiting the gymnasium.
