When I say Spook/Phantom, I'm talking about their ghost duplicate selves. When I say, Vanessa/Rai, I mean their human selves acting as ghosts. Makes sense later.

It's summer, and Rocket is on vacation. Zatanna is a camp counselor for some summer camp. At the moment, the remaining team members are doing their own things in the living room. Megan is in the kitchen, making something. Conner, Wally, Artemis, Mary, and Freddy are watching tv. Robin is doing something on his watch. Finally, the ghosts along with BB are playing with their Nintendos, the ghosts floating above everyone on the couch. Kaldur walks into the room with an excited look upon his face. Megan enters with a tray of cookies.

"My friends, I come with exciting news," Kaldur says, walking into the room.

"I love exciting news!" Megan squeals, gaining everyone's attention. She places the cookies on the counter nearby, Wally immediately speeds over to it.

"What's going on?" Spook asks.

"My two best friends, Garth and Tula, have decided to join the team," Kaldur smiles.

"Do I hear an initiation?" Gar asks.

The ghosts smile.

"But, my friends have already met Spook and Phantom," Kaldur inquires.

"Tula and Garth have met Spook and Phantom, but they haven't met Vanessa, Greta, and Raimundo," Spook smiles.

"They also don't know that we're ghosts," Phantom adds.

"Whfat harre you hetting at?" Wally asks, mouth stuffed with cookies.

Spook smirks as her and her brother create a duplicate of themselves, transforming their originals selves to their human side while leaving their duplicate as a ghost.

"Whoa! You can duplicate?!" Gar shouts excitedly. He runs up to look at the four.

"And we can talk and act and use our powers as we normally would," Vanessa and Spook speak through both bodies.

"Or we can just talk in one," Rai says.

"Can you say two different things at once?" Robin asks.

"Working on that one still," Vanessa says.

"Can you duplicate?" BB asks Greta.

"Duplicating is a very hard skill to master..." Greta sighs.

The four twins laugh. "Yeah, she can only gain another head."

"Hey!" Greta huffs.

"Recognized: Aquagirl, B14. Tempest, B13."

"I'm assuming that's them," Artemis says.

Kaldur nods. Vanessa and Rai disappear along with Greta as Spook and Phantom head to the mission room with the rest of the group.

"Garth! Tula!" Kaldur greets.

"Kaldur," Tula says, moving over to give him a quick hug.

Megan moves up to them. "I'm glad you've decided to join the team," Megan cheers, holding Tula's hands in hers. "I'm so excited that we have another girl! We need to even out with all these boys."

Tula lets out a small laugh. "I'm glad I'm in the surface world. It's so different here. Ah, Superboy, Phantom, and Spook!"

"You can call me Conner."

"Hey, Tula, it's nice to see you again," Spook says. "You as well, Garth. I like the hero names."

"Thanks," Tula says.

"It's nice to be here finally," Garth says.

Greta heads to Vanessa's room to get her stuffed bunny.

"Hey, I'm Kid Flash, but you can call me Wally," he says, wrapping an arm around Artemis. "This is my girlfriend."

She rolls her eyes, giving him a light shove. "I'm Artemis, both on and off the field."

"I'm Sergeant Marvel, call me Mary."

"I'm Lieutenant Marvel, call me Freddy."

"I'm Robin and not allowed to tell you my real name."

"I'm Beast Boy or BB or Garfield or Gar, whichever works for you!"

"We also have two other members, but they're on vacation for summer," Spook says.

Rai appears beside the team, staring straight at the two newcomers. They both look at him expectantly.

"Uh, who is that?" Garth asks, pointing to Rai.

"We've introduced everyone," Spook says.

"Then who is the boy next to M'ga–" Tula starts but cuts herself off seeing Rai gone. "What? H-he was just here..."

"What did he look like?" Megan asks.

"I don't hear any other heartbeats in the cave beside us," Conner says.

"He had brown hair and very vivid green eyes," Garth describes.

"We don't have anyone on the team like that..." BB says.

"Then who did we just see?" Garth asks, looking to Kaldur.

"Maybe it was a ghost?" Robin suggests.

"No, we would've sensed him," Spook says.

"What do you mean by sensed?" Tula asks.

"We never got around to tell you because we were keeping it a secret at the time," Phantom says. "But we're ghosts."

"We're not alive," Spook says, floating off the ground.

"Wait, really?" Tula asks, looking at Kaldur who nods. "That explains why you didn't need to breathe under the water."

"Exactly," Spook says. "Anyway, my brother and I get this feeling and this breath of air is released from our mouths when another ghost is nearby. Which, now that I think about it, is kinda weird considering we don't breathe."

From behind them Kumori, the stuffed bunny, makes an appearance, walking up to the group of teens. Tula gasps and points behind them, she watches as it goes through the floor before everyone turns around.

"Did he show up again?" Kaldur asks.

"No, it was a stuffed rabbit this time," Garth confirms.

"Oh God! A stuffed bunny?" Wally shouts, turning to the ghost twins. "You have a stuffed bunny! Was it from the Ghost Dimension? Did it have some creepy voodoo crap cursed on it?"

Spook laughs. "No, I got it on Easter when I was 10 from my parents. His name is Kumori."

"If I may ask, how old are you?" Tula asks.

"We died when we were 12," Phantom says.

"That happened over 558 years ago," Spook lies.

"Whoa!" Wally shouts. "You're over 550 years old?!"

"Then shouldn't you be with the league?" Garth asks.

"They did ask," Spook says.

"They did?" Robin asks surprised.

Phantom nods. "But, we're going to look like this for the rest of our undead lives. We won't age."

Greta appears as Kumori again, phasing through everyone's legs, without them knowing, and disappearing into the floor.

"You guys didn't feel that?" Tula asks, eyeing the floor where the bunny disappeared.

"Feel what?" Kaldur asks.

"I know! How about we show you around the cave?" Megan suggests.

"That sounds like a good idea," Garth says, placing his hand on the midsection of Tula's back and walking behind everyone.

"Wait, are you saying this is what you looked like when you were 12?" Wally asks.

"We only half died when we were 12. Weird, I know," Spook sighs.

"We officially died when we were 16," Phantom adds. "That's why we look 16."

"How do you half die?" Tula asks.

"Yeah, we're still trying to even figure that out," Robin says.

They continue to walk and Vanessa appears, floating in a nearby hallway just as Tula and Garth pass. Tula squeals, leaping on Garth. The team turns to her quizzically.

"Jeez, you scared the crap outta me!" Spook jumps. "Why are you screaming?"

"G-ghost!"

"Well, yes, I am. What's your point?" Spook questions.

"No, not you," Garth says. "There was a girl floating right in that hallway."

"This cave isn't haunted," Phantom says. "Unless you're counting us. We've already scoped out the place."

The lights flicker.

"Must be having some electrical problems," Robin admits. "The storm outside must be getting harsh."

The two marvels shutter. "I don't like where this is heading."

"Guys, we won't let any ghosts hurt you," Phantom says.

The lights go out. Phantom moves over to Megan to tell her to set up the mind link without Tula and Garth. The lights flicker back on and the ghost twins are missing.

"Where'd they go?!" BB shouts.

The lights once again flicker and the two return in giggles.

"We were still here just wanted to scare you a little," Spook chuckles. "Let continue the tour, shall we?"

They return to walking down the hallway, arriving at the living room and kitchen area.

"This is where we usually hang out," Megan pipes up. "I'll usually be in the kitchen, baking."

They continue around the mountain.

'Act like you don't see us in the souvenir room,' Spook mentions.

They turn into said room, ignoring the two twins and Greta. All three are in the corner of the room, staring everyone down.

"This is my souvenir room!" Wally raves. "I get something from every mission we go on and put it in here."

"Are those three ghosts included?" Tula asks, eyeing the corner of the room.

"What ghosts?" Robin asks.

"Only ghosts I see are these two," Conner says.

"How can you not see them?" Garth asks, pointing to the corner.

Everyone turns to look, pretending to not see the three.

"There's nothing over there," Mary says. "Are you two okay?"

"We'll see about that," Tula says, summoning up electricity in her hands. She shoots the beams and the three disappear.

"Whoa!" Wally shouts.

"Careful, you two. You might be hallucinating," Kaldur calmly says.

"We're both seeing the same thing," Garth says. "I highly doubt that we're both hallucinating the same thing."

The lights fully turn off with no sign of returning back on.

"I guess we finally lost power," Robin sighs, pulling up system schematics.

Greta and Rai return, both lighting up the room with their glow.

"Alright, so I'm not the only one imagining the two glowing and floating people, am I?" BB asks.

"No," everyone answers.

"So, now you all see them?!" Tula huffs.

"Guys, where did Phantom and Spook go?!" Freddy shouts, noticing the missing twins.

Kaldur turns to the floating ghosts. "What'd you do with them?!"

Rai tilts his head with a sadistic grin. "They've been taken care of."

"OH, great! Two of the strongest of this team have been easily rid of! What chance do we have?!" Artemis shouts.

Vanessa appears behind Conner and Mary.

"Watch out!" Tula shouts.

Vanessa grabs them by the shoulders and disappears.

"No!" Freddy shouts.

Rai and Greta giggle wickedly.

"Bring them back!" Kaldur shouts.

"No," Greta speaks. "We're just getting started with our... fun."

"Just continue your tour and buckle up!" Rai smiles as the two disappear, leaving them in the dark.

Garth and Tula power up the electricity in their hands to give them some light.

"What are we gonna do?!" Freddy shouts.

"We play their game," Kaldur responds. "Let's go and get our friends."

They leave the room, continuing the tour as told.

"I can't get in contact with the league," Robin announces, flicking through his holo-watch.

"We should be able to handle this ourselves," Kaldur says.

"How can we handle it if we don't know how to fight back?" Artemis asks.

"Yeah, they have the ability to touch us and disappear. How can we go against that?" Wally asks.

"We use what we learned about ghosts from Spook and Phantom," Robin says.

"And what exactly would that be?" Freddy asks.

"They have one weakness," Robin says. "But we don't have any handy ectoranium nor the technology to get it."

Cackles surround them and Greta, Rai, and Vanessa appear. They dodge attacks from everyone, heading right for their next victims. They disappear along with Wally, Artemis, and Robin.

"No!" Megan shouts.

"We need to get in contact with the league," Garth says.

"There's no way to reach them. Communication signals have been cut off," Kaldur says.

They continue down to the grotto where they find Conner, Artemis, Mary, Robin, and Wally all turned away from them.

"Guys! They're okay!" BB shouts.

They turn around at his voice and everyone gasps. The five of them have glowing purple eyes.

"I don't think that's them..." Freddy mutters.

"Because they are not," Kaldur confirms.

Greta, Vanessa, and Rai materialize above the 'possessed' five, chuckling.

"What did you do to our friends?!" Megan shouts.

"Only made them apart of our army," Vanessa answers.

"Now, attack!" Rai commands.

The five move and begin to attack the remaining members of the team. The fight insues, each making sure they get fakingly knocked out by the other. Garth and Tula along with the three ghosts remain.

"You have remained standing. That's quite impressive," Greta voices.

"But it's two against three plus you're both exhausted. Do you really think you can go on?" Rai taunts.

"We won't back down!" Tula shouts, panting lightly. "We'll do whatever it takes to protect our teammates and friends!"

"Is that a promise?" Vanessa asks.

"Yes," the two firmly respond.

"That's all we needed to hear," the three ghosts voice. They lower themselves to the ground. Greta turns the lights back on. "Congratulations."

The other teammates get up and move next to the ghosts. The two stay in the defensive poses.

"Welcome to the team, Tula and Garth," Kaldur welcomes.

"What the hell?" Garth voices.

"You passed initiation," Vanessa says, moving up to them. "My name is Vanessa and this is my brother Raimundo, but you know us by the names of Spook and Phantom."

"Wait, what?" Tula grunts.

The two transform to their ghost halves. "This is our protégé, Greta aka Secret. She's an actual ghost."

"Yeah, and we're not really fully ghost. We're part ghost and part demigod. Currently, we are 16, but we will not visibly age," Rai says.

"Wait, this was all a test?" Garth asks.

"That's correct," Robin says. "It was your initiation trial. You didn't give up when your team needed you most."

"But we saw you in both at the same time!" Tula exclaims.

"Yeah," Spook says, splitting in two. "That's a ghost trait."

"Incredible," the two new members breathe.

"So, if you're part demigod, which god are you related to?" Garth asks.

"Hades," the twins respond.

"Hades..." Tula mutters.

"Yep, originally we were half human half demigod, but an accident occurred and killed our human half, converting it into ghost," Rai says.

"H-have you met your father?" Tula asks nervously.

"No, we were told by our stepfather that he'll only appear when our true power awakens," Spook says, returning to one body. "I have unleashed it, but my brother has not."

"We figure he will appear once Raimundo has unleashed his," Kaldur voices. "Hopefully, when that time comes that only Raimundo will lose control and not both of you. Last time Spook was enraged, she almost killed us all. If he transforms as well, he may also be out of control."

"We will do what we can to help when it comes to that," Garth says.

"Thank you," Spook says. "That means a lot to us."
