When one became more

A/n: With Kyomi and Hayano in the game, the truth is coming near, ooooh~

And the lack of reaction when Kyomi was straddling Alaude, I-

WHAT KIND OF FANFICS DO YOU GUYS READ??

Anyways, to the story.

3rd Point of View.

Soon Hayano and Tsuna entered the house where Asari and Takemi barged in. There they see Asari and Takemi sitting in the salon, a man before them sitting with his leg bouncing from anxiety.

At the sound of a window opening, the man jumped and slammed his back against the wall while the two guardians stiffened in alarm. But once Takemi sees them, her eyes widened and somewhat grinned, brows furrowed as if holding back her tears.

"About time you came, Hayano."

Hayano returned her grin, huffing, "You underestimated me that much?"

Asari blinks at the unknown woman who also took note of his appearance, she bows, "A pleasure to meet you, Signor Ugetsu.

"Ah...it's nice to meet you too, Ms..."

"Hayano Gokudera. Please call me Hayano." Tsuna stepped it to explain the situation.

"Hayano told me what happened but lets wait for Signor Alaude and Kyomi to arrive." just as Asari question who this 'Kyomi' is, the window opened and the man who was silent all this time, flee to his bedroom where he locked the door.

Two figured jumped inside and Tsuna's eyes brightened. "Kyomi..." she smiled warmly.

Kyomi stares at her Decima, she nods, "Tsunahime." Alaude stands behind Asari, his cold eyes trained on the short haired woman called Kyomi. She's dangerous, he assessed.

They all took a seat, Takemi and Asari on one couch, Tsuna and Hayano on the other couch while Kyomi leans on the wall beside the window, Alaude is the farthest, behind the two Rain, with the same posture as his female counterpart.

(A/n: I am here to specify, she's dangerous for his heart (salutes), BYE!)

"Can we please know what this is all about now? What are those beings, Hayano, Kyomi?" Tsuna demanded the two, question marks sprout from the clueless people's head, beady eyes staring at their form, "Beings?"

"Misty beings, humanoid form with mist surrounding them." Hayano describes, Alaude snaps his neck to her and glared, he jumps over the couch (Takemi and Asari thankfully leaned away). He brandishes his iconic handcuffs and loomed over the silver haired girl who cranes her neck to look at the eyes of the French man. She clenched her hands until they are white.

Not because she's intimidated, but because of a certain memory that resurfaced

Plus, she's been living with a far more bloodthirsty woman.

Speaking of the skylark, Kyomi moved to the side of Alaude, one tonfa pressed against his throat, exuding a suffocating aura that has Asari sweat under his clothes. "Step back." she hissed with her stormy gray eyes burning holes on the side of his face.

With inclining his head, Alaude stares at Kyomi, jaw tense and lips pressed in a firm line, "She's about to explain. So sit your ass down or I'll make you."

Tsuna narrows her eyes and lets out an authoritative aura, glowing eyes pinned on the two Cloud Guardians.

"Hibari Kyomi" Tsuna eased the cloud guardian, "We are here to discuss not to wreck the place, so please, stand down, that goes to you as well, Signor Alaude. I may not be your boss but with the situation occurring as we speak, listen to me, now." she grounded.

Wow.

Alaude smirks, avoiding all their gazes.

So the bunny has claws.

Slowly, under their watchful eyes, Alaude retreated to the back, mentally noting to engage Kyomi to a duel once the situation is apprehended.

That speed, that reflex...Alaude allowed a predatory grin over his lips, eyes glinting with excitement.

She's a seasoned fighter.

And a damn good one at that.

He can already feel the adrenaline running in his veins at the mere thought of fighting the woman.

Tsuna seeing that everything is under control, heaves a sigh and motioned for Hayano to continue explaining, missing the bead of sweat that trails down Asari's cheek.

'That aura just now...it felt like Giotto's.'

Hayano gives her boss an appreciative nod and continued.

"Mysterious deaths started happening three days ago, a day after Kyomi and I arrived to this town. On the second night that we're here, we witnessed one of the deaths, on the scene was this-" she slides a paper on the coffee table, it's a picture of a humanoid figure with mist like lines surrounding it, empty sockets and baring sharp teeth were the only details.

"Regrettably we couldn't identify, whether it was a human nor a ghost. So we decided to start our own investigation, after all-" she avoided Tsuna's gaze, "You taught us not to abandon anyone who needs help." she murmurs, Takemi and Tsuna shared an amused gaze.

"During our investigation, we noticed few things." Hayano takes a deep breath as memories of the past few days resurfaced, gut churning at hardship they went through.

Saving as many lives as possible while observing the anomaly is hard on the chest, especially when some of the poor people died under your watch.

"These beings that we are speaking of... they are immune to everything physical."

An outburst.

"WHAT!?"

"So they are ghosts?"

"What do you mean, de gozaru?"

"They kill but they cannot be touched..." Tsuna frowns, her dainty fingers gripping her chin, "But how is that possible?"

Hayano shakes her head, "We still don't know, Decima."

"Is there any more information? Where do this come from? Any pattern that you observed?"

That moment, it was Kyomi's turn to shine. With silent but confident strides, she drops a notebook on the table, Tsuna wordlessly grabs it, flipping through the pages.

"These beings appear any time, any day. Most attacks happen at the south-east of the town, meaning they came from the direction of the sea. Impervious to firearms and bombs, they kill everything by just a mere touch." she drops few photos on the table, all of them grabs one, the photo is not as colorful as that in the future, showing an intact body, convulsed and rigid in sepia color.

"The bodies don't have external injuries but just as Hayano said earlier, they are cold to the touch, autopsy is useless. They go through everything so hiding from them is a difficult task." Tsuna narrows her eyes, noticing something unusual with the picture, she grabs another one.

Putting the two together, she compares them and upon observing something, a question has been raised. "Kyomi, Hayano. How many of those beings are there?"

Kyomi stopped talking, Hayano raised her head to Tsuna's direction along with everyone else,"So far, every time there's an attack, we only see one, Decima."

"Have you ever notice their shade?"

"Shade?" Hayano echoed in confusion.

To explain, Tsuna puts down two of the photos side by side and with her finger, points at the translucent being. "I've noticed that this figure has a darker tint than this one which is considerably lighter. Were these photos captured at the same place at the same time?"

Hayano ponders, scratching her head with her nose scrunched.

"No, Decima."

Takemi leaned over, observing, since her eyes are far sharper than the two, maybe she can notice something.

"Yeah, they were caught at the same moment but different day, the lighting is similar, the overall place too, just the darkness of the creatures and the corpse is different." Hayano clarifies.

Asari frowns not understanding where this is going.

"What about the difference between the two?" he couldn't help but ask.

"If these photos were taken at the same time but different day then..." the four women with Alaude (who caught on), shared a grim look.

"There's a possibility that there are more than one 'ghost'".

A/n: Was it too confusing? If you guys are confused then I will write a chapter dedicated to it.
