"Hey are you okay? You're not eating." Aunt Cass said.

She made her famous wings. No matter how good they were. I couldn't stomach anything.

"Oh no I'm fine. Just not hungry. Busy thinking." I say.

"About?" She asked.

I could not tell her about my destiny. What a creature I met today. I couldn't tell her about Bellroc.

"Uh school." I lie.

"Must be hard." She said.

"Yeah. Kind of." I say.

I walk back upstairs. Cass let out a sigh. She began to put more dishes away. I was sitting on the top of the staircase. I felt the burning pain again. I take off my sweater. Dammit. It was all over my arms. The runes. The symbols. What do they mean?

"Hello old friend." A voice said behind Aunt Cass.

Bellroc.

I pressed my head against the wall. I could hear them. I took out a recorder thingy I made. I press play.

"Get back!" Aunt Cass yelled.

She grabbed a knife and pointed it at Bellroc.

"I do not wish to harm you." Bellroc said.

She swatted the knife.

"You knew I'd be back." She said.

"Stay away from him!" Aunt Cass screamed.

"You know as well as I do that this day was always meant to come. The Red moon is almost upon us."

"He's just a boy!"

"A boy with powers greater than all the world knows. A boy with a purpose that will change the world of man."

"No! I won't let you!" Cass charged.

Bellroc grabbed her neck. She lifted her up.

"You cannot stop me. Never forget without me there would have been no Hiro." Bellroc dropped her.

She walked over to my plate and started eating the wings. I stopped the recording. I let out a breath. My hands shook.

Holy crap.
