"Hey, little hero."

Adaliah skittered back, eyes wide as she choked on her spit, trying to crawl backwards. He seemed to take a sick joy in seeing her struggle, her breath catching as she tried to fall into the seemingly impervious mask of Angel. Angel wouldn't take this shit from anyone.

Blue flames erupted in his hand as he swung at her, the omega barely dodging before scrambling to her feet. She tried to garner some distance between the two of them, which was proving slightly futile as he kept stalking towards her.

He swore he killed off the spark in her eye. That little bit of life that would give him a fight. He swore he snuffed it out before this. He swore on his life.

No matter, he'd just have to do it again. And again. And again.

And again. It almost sounded fun, to break her down over and over again. To watch her struggle to build herself up only to topple. It gave him a new sort of thrill.

Especially since she wasn't allowed to freely use her quirk to protect herself. She was as stuck as stuck came. He grinned. By the way she was staring at him, she knew it too.

Adaliah knew she would either have to run, or break the rules. She was relatively fucked right now, no matter which way she looked at it. Then, her saving grace, came.

"Everyone is class 1-A and B, in the name of the pro hero Eraserhead, you have been granted permission to engage in combat! I repeat, use your training and fight these villains!"

Before she could do anything, she was surrounded by copies of the man, essentially her worst nightmare. She frowned before another message from Mandalay came in.

"Listen! We've discovered two of the villains targets! Two students named Kacchan and Liah, both of you should avoid combat and find a group to stick around with!"

She cursed once more, powering up her quirk nonetheless, if she was going to go down, it wouldn't be without a fight. More fire was thrown around, and vaguely she wondered if she heard a gunshot in the distance.

She skid a ways back from the fire, snarling as she felt her omega urge forward. She pushed that down with a quick 'no' .

"Suppose it's rude at this point to not introduce myself, Chisaki, name's Dabi. You'll want to learn who you'll be begging for mercy from." One of the copies smirked while one from behind her let fire rip at her back, burning her between her wings.

She could feel, and smell, the feathers and skin burning, making her frown, biting down a whimper. Focused on trying not to cry in pain she didn't even notice one of the clones coming closer with a metal collar in hand.

"Aww, you are so cute! Can we keep her Dabi? Please?" The blond girl ran up to Dabi, who was carrying one of their targets in his arms, a spot on the back of her neck swelling a dark purple as her hands were tied behind her back, a gag firmly between her teeth. She looked so serene and calm despite her situation, eyes closed softly as she breathed softly.

"Fuck off. Did you get what you needed?" He growled, angling away from the blonde who whined.

"I got one person's blood!"

"You were supposed to get at least three." Dabi growled, one of his fangs poking out from beneath his lip. Adaliah was beginning to stir in his arms, making Dabi put her down in front of him, her back against his legs. He watched her carefully, eyes flickering between gold and yellow looking around everywhere. They snapped wide when a pile of bodies landed in front of her, making her chirp as she pushed against Dabi.

"Omegas like you should keep still. Better for everyone." He kicked the small girl, making her groan as she fell over uselessly. She could see Shoji and Izuku and Shoto, making her shake her head wildly. There were too many variable unaccounted for, too many unknowns. They shouldn't have been here without a pro.

The beginnings of a growl escaped the alphas, and Shoji, but it was quickly cut down by a belt of blue fire pushing them back.

A million and one thoughts were running through the omega's head as she struggled, trying to pry her hands free. Getting caught would be nothing but awful for her, Tsunagi would fucking skin her alive, Kai would never let her out of the house, and well, look at the villains. They weren't the pinnacle of hospitality.

Behind her, she could see the warp man in her peripheral, making her curse. 'Getting real tired of your shit warp man.'

She pulled at her ropes again, this time a blue laser skimming the top. She was sure it was Aoyama, but right at this moment she didn't care it was a way out. Yanking her wrists, she snapped the ropes, watching as one of the masked villains lifted his mask, sticking his tongue out-- where two blue marbles sat. From context, she could guess that was where Katsuki and Tokoyami were.

She tackled him, making the marbles fly. Dabi grabbed her by her hair, yanking her back with a loud snarl as her classmates ran for the marbles. Shoji grabbed one, but Dabi barely beat out Shoto.

"Isn't that a tragedy little brother. Say goodbye to this sweet thing." She was yanked back with a yelp, quickly being thrown into the warp gate behind her, the three watching her disappear with Bakugou.

They had lost.

And worst of all, Adaliah was unaccounted for.

"Katsuki Bakugo." Shigaraki snarled, getting right in the alpha's face as he stared at him. Katsuki snarled and growled as she struggled in his bindings, Adaliah beside him watching everything around her carefully. She didn't seem scared on the surface, but Katsuki could tell she was far from not. It was like when someone got so angry that they became calm, collected, like a rattlesnake waiting to strike.

She was calculating right now; weighing her pros and cons of every possible outcome. It wasn't looking like much right now based on her facial features.

When Shigaraki wasn't getting a reaction from Katsuki, he turned to Adaliah, who met his glare dead on. Shigaraki smirked, trailing a finger along her jawline.

"In most games, there are princesses that need saving, yet you are in the hero course." He hummed, holding her cheek. "So are you the hero or are you the princess at the end of the boss fight?"

She watched him carefully, coming to a carefully chosen decision

If help didn't show up soon, she'd kill herself.

"We are here to apologize," Aizawa began, snarling inwardly at himself. "A recent incident allowed harm to come to 27 first year students. And we, as staff, were ill prepared. We take responsibility for any negligence or trauma cause by it."

He had already gone through the ringer with both the Bakugou's (He wasn't sure they were yelling at him though, more like to him) and Kai Chisaki (who was very much yelling at him). He also didn't want to do this press conference but here he was. He didn't know if the missing teens were watching this, but he hoped they were.

(They were.)

"It's not only our duty to train heroes, but to protect the heroes in training as well." Aizawa bowed, letting the questions rain terror over him and Vlad King.

"Since the beginning of the year, the students have had four encounters with villains, this time with students becoming gravely injured. How do you explain this to families? What plans of actions do you plan to take to ensure the students safety in the future?"

"We will increase patrols around U.A. and increase safety measures tenfold. Safety of our students is our main priority, don't make any mistake about it." Nezu answered, and from where they were watching-- Katsuki and Adaliah winced.

With how the press was asking questions, U.A. seemed awful. Like they were killed with zero chance of recovery, and it was all their fault (it wasn't).

The television was clicked off.

"Isn't it interesting, princess, how the heroes are becoming the bad guys, and it seems like their not dealing with it well at all. So much criticism for a mistake or two. Don't modern day heroes have it rough?" Shigaraki leered at both of the teens, even if he only directly addressed one of them.

"Let them go."

-

Hawks: Sounds like something a responsible adult wouldn't let her do.

Hawks: ...

Hawks: Good thing I'm not her dad.

-

Katsuki: How come I never see any baby animals?

Adaliah: Because their parents are smart enough to hide them from you.

-

Momo: You look like an emo who OD'd in a lake.

Adaliah, on a 72-hour binge: WRONG. I look like a rock star who OD'd in their own pool.
