She still hadn't given up on Damian.

She knew he probably remembered her, considering his words a few days earlier. Even though he would most likely continue this charade, she still had the hope he instilled in her before all this happened.

Because what she had figured a little while ago was that if she could make him fall for her once, with or without Mar'i in the picture, she could do it again. And she was determined to succeed.

This single person was affecting her whole life with just one breath, but she loved the feeling just as much as she did him.

Whether or not Damian chose Mar'i or her wasn't up to her, and she accepted this. But that didn't mean she couldn't try to help him realize the chemistry they had.

"I assume your relentless attemps to get me to remember something that's never happened speak for themselves but I'm sure you'd like to know me better so I suppose I could invite you to my table during lunch."

"Who else sits there?"

"Me, Mar'i, Wilkes, Kent."

"Why do you invite me? You hate me."

"I don't hate you, I simply find you to be excessively annoying. But if you refuse to give up then there's nothing to do but allow myself to find out about you."

"I guess that makes sense.."

"Take it or leave it."

"I'll be there."

"And I can promise you that with Mar'i, Wilkes, and Kent, you will not find it to be uneventful."

"I don't expect it to be."

"Kent and I are going to skip this period if you'd like to tag along."

"Are you sure that'd be allowed?"

"Of course it isn't."

"Sounds interesting. I've never skipped a class with you."

He sighed, "I'll let you believe what you'd like to." He turned around and walked away a few steps. He stopped, then moved his head subtly towards her, "Are you coming or not?"

"I'm coming!" She caught up to him and walked by his side.

"We wait for Kent by the bathroom."

"Right, okay. Why isn't your girlfriend coming?"

"She follows the rules. The other day, when you went looking for me, she thought it was scandalous for me to go to the office with her without permission."

"That's why.." She sighed relief, "I thought you guys were, I dunno, skipping classes to do.. other stuff."

"Absolutely not. She's made it quite clear that she doesn't want relations like that."

"And you do?"

"Every teenage boy does. Why do you care?"

"I'm just curious, that's all."

"Don't be, your constant questions can get quite irritating."

"I'm sorry? I'm just used to asking alot of questions."

"It's fine, I know about habits."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm a violent person at times. My grandfather raised me to fight. I only met my father a few years ago and he utilizes my abilities for his detective work."

"How so?"

"I've probably already revealed enough about myself."

"Well, I'll tell you something about me. My dad abused me. I got rid of him a while back but it still hurts. I still have the scars from when he smashed a glass bottle over my head.."

"I was forced to scale a mountain when I was four."

"At four years old?"

"Even with a broken wrist, I had to do it."

"You were four years old and with a broken wrist?"

"I'm the grandson of the leader of the world's best crime organization. I had to, it was my legacy."

"The operative word being was?"

"Yeah, I'm glad I came here. I'm happy to have met Wilkes, Kent, Grayson spawn.. even you."

She smiled slightly and opened her mouth to say something but it got interrupted by Jon.

"I'm sorry I'm late, Damian.. and Ra--"

Damian made a motion for him to shut up midsentence.

"Oh.. Oh right! And who might you be?" He looked towards Raven.

"I might be Raven."

"I'm Jonathan Kent. My friends call me Jon."

"Which means you'll address him as Jonathan." Damian added.

"That's rude, Dami."

"I've never been a significantly pleasant person."

Raven laughed lightly at their slight bickering. "It's okay, I understand if Damian sees me as a threat to his friendship with Jonathan." She hid a smirk.

Jon laughed, "She got you." He sang, teasing Damian as he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

"Whatever, let's just get to the manor."

"We're going all the way to Wayne manor?" Raven asked.

"Where else would we be going?"

"It's where we always go when we skip class."

"Somewhere easy to come back to when both this hour and our free period are over."

"She makes a point." Jon added.

"Yeah? Well, where do you suggest we go, then, new girl?"

"I'm sure some radio station is hosting a music festival for those of us who don't have school, or are rather skipping it. If we hurry, we can make it to a few more songs."

"That sounds super fun! Dami, it's my first concert!" Jon smiled and jumped in excitement.

"Who's playing?" Damian asked, unusually intrigued.

"Impersonators, maybe a few actual bands. Although I'm sure it's alot of pop music, which I know you don't enjoy, Damian. But neither do I, so we can entertain ourselves by insulting them."

"Actually, that sounds enjoyable. And maybe Mar'i will accompany us once she hears where we're going."

"Yeah.. maybe she will." She looked away.

"Damn it. I forgot she turns her phone off during class." He put his cell in his back pocket, "She's never going to learn to have fun."

"What a shame." Raven sighed relief, "It's only us, then?"

"Seems that way."

"I can't wait, guys! My very first concert! Do you think my dad will mind?" Jon asked enthusiastically.

"I know for a fact that he will." Damian grabbed his arm before Jon could react and dragged him outside. "I'll call Pennyworth."

"Alfred allows you to skip class?" Raven raised an eyebrow.

"Not unless I have reasoning. And I do."

"And that is..?"

"The three of us are taking an educational break from school to relax our brains so we can focus on our studies better."

"Educational break?"

"To the park, which is just so happening to be throwing a music festival."

"The things you can get away with..."

"My father is Bruce Wayne, there's alot of things I can do."

"Of course." She sighed and waited for the limousine to arrive.
