Training
QOTC: Which sad one shot made you cry or have feelings the most?
AOTC: Let Her Go. Honestly, I could not stop bawling the night I wrote it. I was looping it through my earbuds and it was almost 12AM. I was supposed to be asleep, but I couldn't even turn off the lights in my room since I was too into it.

Damian Wayne trained. A lot. He was constantly in the training room. Nobody really knew why he did train as much as he did; he was a very healthy teenager and even a week off of training would barely do him any harm to his progress.
But, nonetheless, he trained practically all day. Only coming out to eat, sleep, spend time with Raven and the others, or a mission. And nobody would mention it either. He'd be left in peace. Everyone knew he had a reasonable cause to train as much as he did. But nobody was brave enough to ask.
And he did have a reasonable cause. He was scared.
Scared of being anything that wasn't the best. Scared of losing his rights to his entitlement. Scared of making a fool of himself in front of the other teammates. Scared of potentially falling into danger and not being able to protect himself. And, most of all, scared for Raven to fall into danger and him not being able to save her.
Raven had enough of his constant and corrupting training. She wasn't much to wish to be the center of attention. But certain days she would wish that she was her boyfriend's main priority over just training all day, but who could blame her?
The teenage witch walked into the training room and leaned against the wall, watching Damian practice with his hand to hand combat and waiting until he finally acknowledged her presence.
Raven had to admit, watching the Damian Wayne as he trained was definitely a sight to see. The bead of sweat dripping down his forehead only moistened his face even more than it already was, due to his intense and contant training. He shook his head a few times to dry his hair out as much as he could before continuing his assault on the punching bag. Best of all, or at least for her, his t-shirt had been thrown to the side to avoid drenching it.
She shook her own head so she could stop practically drooling over her boyfriend, but not before mentally praising Azar that he was her boyfriend, of all people.
"Bet I could kick your ass."
Damian stopped his punching, then turned over to look at Raven with a half-smirk. "Is that so?"
Raven shrugged and approached him, leaning towards him on the opposte side of the punching bag from him, "Why wouldn't I?"
"Because I'm an assassin and the son of Batman, training to kill since I was four." He wiped the sweat off his forehead and face, then walked to a nearby bench so he could rest and have a drink of water, "And you are.."
"A half demon that could destroy the whole world if I were to try, daughter of Satan himself." She raised an eyebrow, "Not to mention, I'm your girlfriend. If I can earn your heart, I can do anything, Damian."
Damian chuckled, "While that second statement, I have to admit, is accurate, I doubt you could beat me at hand to hand."
"You don't know that." Raven walked up to him, swiftly kicked the water bottle out of his hands, and put her fists up. "Just try."
Damian smirked, not even reacting to the kick, "I'm not going to hurt you."
"I know you won't, get up. Unless you're scared." She taunted.
Damian raised an eyebrow, "Scared? Scared of breaking all your limbs, yes. But not scared of a.."
"Of a what?" Raven crossed her arms, "Go on, finish that statement, I dare you."
"Beautiful woman I am so very lucky to call mine." He shrugged, "My point is, you don't pose a threat to me."
"Then fight me." Raven pouted, "It's not that hard."
"Actually, Raven." He pushed her onto the floor, then pinned her down by her arms, "That's just the thing. You'd be too easy." He whispered with a smirk, "Look how easily I got you like this. I want a challenge."
"Ow, ow, ow, ow!" She hissed, "Babe, you're hurting my arms, fuck!"
"Thought so." He moved his arms from her arms to the floor, still having her pinned down. But Raven took advantage of his movements and pushed him off her, only to jump on top of him and sit on his stomach.
"Look at how wrong you were." Raven smirked.
"I let you have that one." Damian scoffed. But that was a lie, he was caught off guard by her. Though, now that he was under her, he did know a move that could flip themselves over again. But he chose not to use it. He enjoyed allowing Raven a victory for once.
"Yeah, okay." She laughed, leaning in to kiss him softly, then lying down on top of him. The kiss softened his face and even got him to smile, then sigh.
"Raven, I'm so sorry I don't spend as much time with you as I should." He rubbed her back in circles with his hand and frowned, "I need to be the best. Ready for everything."
"I get it, Damian, just at least try to make me a priority?" She ran her fingers through his hair slowly.
"Of course." He smiled up at her upon feeling her fingers against his scalp. He liked when she did that. When she touched him distractingly; not sexual or romantically. Just feeling his skin under her fingertips. He always liked that.
Raven nodded. She kissed him a few times and made sweet talk before she wrapped her arms around his neck loosely, then slowly drifted away into a nap. Damian, once again could've woken her up or carried her to her room, but he didn't. He wanted to have her asleep on top of him, so he too decided to wrap his arms around her waist and rest with her. In the training room, of all places.
The other teammates couldn't believe it when they heard soft snores coming from the room instead of loud grunting and punching noises.
Kori was the first to investigate it, soon being joined by Jaime, Garfield, and Dick, who was spending the night with Kori to watch over the team.
They were first stunned by the sight of Damian actually being close enough to someone to be this intimate with them. Then, they all quietly "aww"ed. None of them dared wake either of them up, though. Damian wouldn't take that easily. And so, they left after a few minutes of watching the two and quietly joking about it amongst themselves.
Most of said jokes being about the goofy little smiles that the both of them shared on their faces.
