Flirt
Focus?
How could she focus?
The Titans were holding a briefing session and they all expected her to focus on tactics?
Who actually cared about saving all humanity when a certain emerald eyed boy across the table from her kept flustering her without even trying?
The words Nightwing was saying blurred past her ears as she wasn't even making an attempt to listen.
Her emotions were in a swirl. Every one of them were speaking over themselves in a jumble. They were almost giving Raven a headache.
Damian looked over at her, noticing her demeanor. He arched an eyebrow at her, then said through their mind link, "Other than my blinding looks.. Is something bothering you, Rae?"
"Nothing at all." Raven replied, rolling her eyes at Damian's self absorbent statement. But an afterthought occurred, "Nothing except for this adorable human being I see right in front of me."
But, luckily, she had blocked all the afterthoughts her emotions might've added.
Damian shrugged, "Are you sure.. You don't seem to be doing so well. Shall I take you down to the infirmary?"
"If the infirmary means your bedroo—" Lust commented. But Raven shut that thought down. Blushing intensely, she thanked heaven she had the ability to block her emotions' remarks.
"No, I'm sure, Damian. I appreciate your concern, bu—"
Nightwing cut the rest of her reply off. He recognized the way they looked at each other; the look they had when they were in a telepathic conversation. "Mind telling us what conversation the both of you are having that's so much more important than this briefing session?"
Damian spoke up first, ">TT<. Grayson, you idiot. You know damn well these lessons are preschool level to me." Rolling his eyes, he then added, "And I was simply taking concern over my dearest Raven. She didn't seem to be doing so well, I asked if she wanted to go to the infirmary so I could check on her."
Nightwing nodded towards the door, "Better safe than sorry, Raven. Go with him."
Raven groaned and got up. Damian held her wrist as he dragged her out of the meeting. "Thank god. That was so boring.. Best thing about that was you being there. Otherwise, I would've gone insane." Damian spoke. "He pretends like I'm not the most trained one of us all. It's insulting."
"You still have to learn, Damian.. You can't just not learn about new tactics."
"As you might already know, I'm a fast learner." He smirked as he referenced his victory against Garfield in Dance Dance Revolution, gaining a small laugh from Raven in return.
Raven had to admit that that day, the day she began to get close to him, the day her likings to him originated, had to be her favorite day. She remembered it all vividly.
She laughed airily and looked at him. Raven slightly gazed at him, losing her train of thought and was unconscious to her walking to the infirmary at this point.
"Liking the view, princess?" Damian smirked cockily.
Raven scoffed and blushed lightly, "Princess?"
"Oh, would you rather me call you something else?" His smirk failed to fade away.
"Like what?" Crossing her arms, she arched her eyebrow at him.
He wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her gently.
"My girlfriend."
