JJ and Charlotte hop out of the Twinkie as soon as they pull into the Carrera's driveway. The two adults were sat out on their steps.
"Howdy, y'all." JJ says, "Lovely afternoon."
"JJ." Mike says, "Do not come on my property. Not even a little bit."
"Yeah. Right. Um..." JJ says, "Well... Yeah, you know why we're here."
"To see Kiara, and, uh..." Charlotte says, "well, we were supposed to hear from her, uh, but we haven't yet, so that's why-"
"Charlotte, she's not here." Anna says
"Like we're supposed to believe that? All right, um, well, then where is she?" JJ says
"Let's just say you're not gonna see her for a while. All right?" Mike says. Charlotte and JJ look to each other.
"We sent her someplace where she can try and rebuild what you and your friends destroyed." Anna says
"You sent her to that wilderness camp?" JJ says
"Yep." Mike nods
"God. You know, y'all really are some Kooks."
Mike scoffs as he gets up. Anna holds her hands out, "No! Just-"
"You gooned her." JJ says as he and Charlotte get back in the Twinkie, "You gooned your own daughter?"
"Hey! You gave us no choice." Mike yells, "You gave us no choice, JJ! I don't wanna see you around my family again!"
"Don't worry, Mike, you won't." JJ says as he starts the Twinkie and pulls out of the driveway, "Shit."
"Okay, so what do we do?"
"I don't know." He says, "But if Kie's gone, then Estrella is too."
Charlotte frowns, "What do you mean?"
"Her mom was talking about sending her to the same camp." He says, "She told me about it while we were stranded."
"Shit." Charlotte sighs
•••
JJ sighs as he pulls up to Estrella's house. He knew as soon as he saw Pamela sitting on her steps, that Estrella was gone. He hops out catching the attention of the woman. She stands up and a scowl immediately takes over her face.
"What are you doing here?"
"Where's Estrella?" JJ asks
"Where you guys can't get to her anymore." She says, "I'm finally gonna have my daughter back."
JJ chuckles, "The second she decides to trust you again, you send her away?"
"It's your fault." She yells, "You're the reason why I don't have her anymore."
"Yeah, right." He scoffs, "You're real pathetic, you know that?"
Pamela steps down from her porch as JJ gets back in the car, "Get out of here!"
"Yes ma'am." He mocks as he starts the Twinkie. The woman continued to yell at him as he drove off.

Estrella looked around as she entered the camp. There were tons of teenage girls doing different things. None of them looked particularly happy to be there. Once she made it to the office, the instructors made her put on the camp uniform. Though she didn't want to, she knew at that point that she didn't have much of a choice.
After putting on the uniform, she was sent to the counselors office. As she sat across from the woman, she could feel herself slowly becoming increasingly agitated.
"Well, thank you for sharing, Estrella, and thank you for putting on our uniform."
"Didn't have much of a choice." She mutters
"Well, now the good news is, we have a name for your condition." The woman sighs. Estrella raises her brows in question, "ODD. Oppositional defiant disorder."
"What is that?"
"It's consistent opposition to authority."
Estrella chuckles, "Right."
"As I was saying, consistent opposition. As well as severe anxiety and possible depression. Your tendencies to harm yourself were also brought to my attention." The woman says. Estrella clenches her jaw as she stares back at the woman, "Now, fortunately, it's very treatable with medication."
"I'm not taking medication."
"See that? That right there? Your reaction." The woman nods, "You just confirmed my diagnosis. "Now, we can help with this."
"Your professional diagnosis." Estrella mutters as she looks up toward the ceiling
"You just have to work with us."
"Right. Um.." Estrella interrupts, "If I'm being honest, I have no desire to hear any of this right now. It's clear that this is all bullshit that you're spewing to make it seem like I actually have something wrong with me."
"Your mother felt as though you were going through a tough time and sent you here to help."
Estrella leans forward, "You and my mother are full of shit."
The woman's face hardens as she takes a deep breath. She nods to herself as Estrella falls back in her chair.

"Hey, cuz."
"Ricky." JJ says as he flies down the street, "What was the name of that wilderness camp
that Uncle Larry sent you to? Remember the one?"
"It's kinda my day off. I got a whole to-do list to get ready for Cluckingham Palace."
"Ricky, screw your chickens!" JJ yells into the phone, "I need to know what's the name of the wilderness camp that you got sent to in ninth grade for being a perv?"
Charlotte frowns as Ricky sighs, "I wasn't being a perv, dude. That shit was taken out of context."
"My bad, all right? All I need to know is, what's the name?"
"Kitty Hawk. There's a girls' half and a boys' half. It's like this reeducation camp run by the Moonies outside the city near the coastal swamp."
"Kitty Hawk Camp." JJ says looking over at Charlotte
"Hey, why you asking? That's not where they're sending you, is it?
"Funny. All right, that's all I need. Thank you for the information, cuz. I'll talk to you soon."
"You owe me for what I did with..." He's cut off by JJ hanging up on him. JJ turns down the street as he calls John B, "Goddamn it. Goddamn it."
"Yo. JJ?"
"Little change of plans. They did it. They sent Kiara and Estrella to the wilderness camp."
"Oh no."
"So, uh, we're gonna need about eight hours for liberation."
"Eight hours? I don't have eight hours! We've got a jet here. We're all waiting."
"I know, dog. I know the clock is ticking. Just hold out as long as you can. If you gotta go, we'll meet you there."
"No, we can't... we can't... No, JJ, listen, we can't wait for you."
"I know. I'm working on it, dude. Luckily, I'm a problem solver. Just stay in the Matrix, okay? I repeat-" He says before the two jump at a loud bang. JJ looks out of the window before groaning.
"JJ?"
"Damn it!" He says before hanging up, "You gotta be kidding me! Piece of shit. God!"
"What happened?" Charlotte asks as they hop out of the Twinkie. Charlotte walks over to the driver's side as a black car speeds around the corner.
"Tire's busted." JJ says as he opens the trunk and pulls out an extra tire
Charlotte turns as a car comes to a stop behind them. JJ turns toward the car and sighs before turning back. Two men hope out of the car. One with a rifle in his hand.
"Okay, fine." JJ says walking over. He immediately stops as the man points the gun at him. Charlotte's eyes widen as she steps back. JJ looks toward the tire before turning back, "Really? After everything you just put me through, and you shoot out my... my friend's tire! That's not even my van!"
"You lost the load, JJ." One of them men say, "Now instead of me getting paid, I owe them. Which I guess means you owe me, right?"
"I know, Barr-"
"Get in the car!" The man yells causing Charlotte to jump
"As much as I would like to, I kinda got a date, so..."
"You heard him. Get in the car." The man with the gun says
"Okay. If that's how it's gonna be." JJ says, "Look, I know you've heard the stories. About me and my friends, a little something called the Royal Merchant. A pile of gold. Is that ringing any bells?"
"I heard some bullshit." The other man says
"Well, that bullshit's real. And yeah, we found it."
"Yeah, I saw. That's why you got a bunch of dudes throwing your furniture in a dumpster out back your house? You're living high off the hog, bro."
"Yeah, you're talking about the house that's being foreclosed? The cover?" JJ says, "The one to throw off the scent? Rule number one, don't do flashy shit, like pay off a mortgage
when you're cashing in."
"Stop. Let me guess." He says, "You, uh... you got that gold. It's buried somewhere in a barn, right? And if I just let you go right now, you'll run right there, you'll get it, we'll split it, right?"
"Not exactly. Actually, it's a little sweeter than that. May I?" JJ says turning toward Charlotte before looking back at the man and stepping closer, "Look, let's just forget about the Merchant gold. That's just the tip of the iceberg. We're going after the main course right now. All right? We're going after the mother lode. And that's the truth of why we need to get down to South America. Okay?"
When the man just looks back at him, JJ sighs, "Mike, come on, man, I'm trying to help you.
By giving you the opportunity to make ten times more. No skin off your nose. Just a lottery ticket." JJ holds his hands out, "So, in this hand, you can get the pleasure of beating my ass right here, right now."
JJ steps closer, "I honestly get that temptation. I really do. All right? But in this hand, in this hand, Mike, you got a pile of gold sitting and waiting for you, and all you need to have is just a little bit of patience, okay? And a flight to South America."
