"Real life catches up"

Life had settled into a humdrum routine. Donna and Jimin were getting increasingly frustrated with their work since their schedules were different. Their friends were busy as well and not able to hang out very often. They hardly texted or called each other. AS they had been away for some days for the vacation, work had piled up. The EXO fans were waiting for some covers and debuts. Jimin came late while Donna had to head out early.

One day Donna was so pissed off and tired from work, irritated due to skipping meals that she came home and started smashing and breaking things while crying her heart out.

But what she didn't know was that Jimin was home early because he had already recorded his solo the previous night and taken an extra shift to complete it so that he could spend time with Donna. He was heartbroken when he saw her all messed up.

I was showering when I heard one crash followed by many more. When I came downstairs, I was heartbroken to see Donna crying really hard while breaking things. I hurried towards her and back hugged her tightly while she struggled. Soon she calmed down and fainted in my arms.
I laid her down and called her doctor, who arrived, checked her vitals and put her on an IV drip. We went to the lounge and wanted to discuss her behavior
Jimin asked, "Doctor, what caused her to faint so suddenly? Is she having any problems?"
The doctor said, "Calm down Mr. Park. She fainted suddenly because she had taken an overdose of anxiety and depression pills. That's also the reason for her sudden outburst and irritating behavior. And I will leave now. Another patient is waiting. Take care of her and have a nice day."
She left and I walked her to the gate until she drove off. I was really shocked that Donna, my wife, was suffering from anxiety and depression and I was not aware of. I was so wrapped up in my career that I didn't have the slightest idea of what she was hiding behind that bright smile and sparkling eyes.

While she was sleeping I decided to call our manager and PD-Nim to explain the situation which I was facing to ask them to give me breaks and shifts earlier than the hyungs so that I could be beside Donna to take care of her. I would complete the remaining recordings and dance practices when Donna was busy with her business. And from now on I would take Donna on dates thrice a week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It sounded perfect and I hope that it would unfold as perfectly.

It took me a while to convince our manager and PD-Nim but soon they decided to focus on my skills and practices more than other members to which I willingly agreed.

Donna woke up and changed. We went out to the nearby coffee shop to get some fresh air. I decided not to tell her that I knew she was taking pills. Instead I would give her a reason not to take solace in them and ensure that she feels needed and worthy instead of feeling like a burden and a clumsy person that she thinks she is.

Days went by and I think she was feeling well. I had to practice and work my brain a little more than before but it was worth the pain and time if it made Donna happy and comfortable.

Donna P.O.V.

For the past few days, Jimin has been behaving differently and differently, in a good way. He has been coming home from his practices and schedules early, often hanging out with me, surprising me by coming to my office as well treating Momo as his own family and often treating us both while we are working. He was also giving out albums, photos and autographs to my employees which made them happy.

These small efforts made me happy and motivated me to live and work hard for Jimin and my family.
