Lily's POV

Finally I was able to return home. Not to say that I didn't enjoy myself at Jenna's place in fact I had a great but I know my mom sent me away because she is hiding something. While I was staying there I was earning money for taking care of my nieces and nephews though only 4 of them the rest were way older than me.

"Do you have to go" asked Nelly with puppy eyes "I really do, I have a competition to attend remember, the one I was training for" I gave her hug thereafter Joey, Riley and Serena came to hug. "You ready Lily" "coming "I replied, I grabbed my last remaining items and a snack then headed out to the Lamborghini

"Sorry again that I couldn't come to your competition" "its fine, Kris needs you" just yesterday Kris received a call that his mother has been discovered with breast cancer , she already was HIV positive so the doctors don't think she'll make it. So Jenna and Kris are leaving to Australia to be with her meaning I have to return to my mother

"Do you think I can stay over by Ben's place?" Jenna smiled "You can't avoid her forever, remember people have their own way of dealing with trauma" I didn't respond. My mother lied and said that Sammy was kidnapped, she has been acting strange for the past 6 years. She goes on long trips, doesn't bath and sometimes I find her staring at the wall. To think I am 16 and already taking care of myself.

I know she is looking for Sammy, I don't know what she plans on doing with her but I know I must find her before mum. I had been paying for a private detective and discovered something odd about my mother she has no history, no known relatives or schools attended, she is a ghost. Another thing is that she spent 3 million on who knows what.

We arrived home "Love you" Jenna bid me goodbye. Waiting for me was the maid and the chaperon "Master Rose has sent me to inform you that she is a little tied up at the moment,  she also wants you know that she won't make it to your competition" "of course ,take my bags up to my room. I need to take a walk" "would you like me to escort you?" "No Fredrick but you could prepare me a meal for when I return" He nodded and gestured for the maids to take my bags.

I miss my mother, we use to be the closet but everything changed ever since that day. I walked to the abandoned park close to home. I stood there in silence at the scene where it happened. "I miss you mom, I miss you Sammy" I whispered. Then out of the blue I heard a peculiar sound one that sounded unnatural. I was an athlete so it didn't take long for me to reach the source. After jumping over logs and through branches I found my mother

She was in front of a tree sitting on log sipping some tea, for once she looked cleaned. Then something happened sparks started coming out of the tree, out of came an ugly looking creature. I covered my mouth so that I would not give off my location "Well?" my mother asked "I finally know where she is. She is the high princess of land and her name is Adeline, getting to her would be challenge" "I thought you said that wouldn't be a problem" she took another sip of her tea "If you just extend the time limit you've placed on me..." my mother silenced the creature "My portal to your world has been opened and it will continue to be open for you. Anyways I thought we agreed that you will return to farieland only if you bring her to me... I don't see her" "oh you mortals and your lies, you stole my name. I am under your control, why would you let me go?" my mother refilled her tea "Did I not say my word is as good as your kind? I am an honest woman when it comes to my dealings. Don't disappoint me and I won't disappoint you...now carry me to hut I'm far too tired to walk and I have an injury" The creature huffed but he carried out my mother's command and they left.

I stayed in my spot for I don't how long. What had I just witnessed my mother was working with that thing and she had managed to find Sammy or Adeline and they said that she was some sort of princess" I slowly walked to the tree. I placed my hand through it and it went right through, I felt my body go cold. I am scared but I have to be brave and find Sammy. I took a deep breath and went right through and when I did I heard my mother calling out for me.
