"Dabi?" Izuku called from the other room. His swollen belly was covered by an oversized shirt and his fingers splayed over his abdomen. He had been having a lot of pain lately but that was to be expected.

Izuku perked up when Dabi walked through the bedroom door with worried eyes. The Alpha had thankfully turned into a huge softy over the past two months. The Omega was even allowed to leave the house a few times to accompany Dabi to the grocery store.

Of course, he had forced Izuku to wear a disguise. He wasn't allowed to talk to anyone or leave Dabi's side.

Izuku was losing hope of ever being found and Dabi made it clear at least once a day that he now belonged to the Alpha and was never leaving. The longer he spent trapped in that house, the more he began to believe and accept his fate.

The greenette was never leaving -- Dabi wouldn't let him.

"What's wrong, bunny?" Dabi rushed to his side before placing his hands over Izuku's that were still rubbing his sore stomach. "Are you in any pain?" The Alpha asked softly and the greenette rolled his bottom lip between his teeth.

"A bit --" Izuku sighed. He was six months into his pregnancy and knew that he would be needing to schedule that cesarian -- but he was scared. He didn't want to have his child here with Dabi. Izuku had been expecting to be back home with Katsuki by now. This wasn't his plan and wasn't the way he was hoping to welcome his baby boy into the world.

Of course, there were some fears still lingering in the back of his mind. The Omega was terrified that his little jelly bean would be born with a striking resemblance to Katsuki and that Dabi would realize and hurt him -- or worse.

It was a fear that haunted his dreams most nights. As much as he prayed his baby would look nothing like his father, he wished the situation was different.

Izuku remembers finding out he was pregnant before Dabi took him. He had hidden it from Katsuki out of fear of rejection and the fact that having a child this early in their lives would ruin Katsuki's hero career. But, the short amount of time that he did have in peace, Izuku dreamed of their unborn child and wished for them to have Katsuki's striking red eyes or unruly blond tufts of hair.

Now, he bargained with whatever higher power out there that his little boy would not share one single trait with his father -- and that killed him inside.

"We should call the doctor and schedule," Dabi sighed and pressed a kiss to Izuku's forehead. The Omega didn't flinch anymore. He had grown accustomed to the Alpha's touches. As much as he hated them before, he now found comfort in them. When Dabi wasn't mad, he was gentle with Izuku and the Omega needed something gentle in his life -- even if it was from his own personal monster.

"When?" He asked hummed in the back of his throat when Dabi began brushing his fingers through the greenette's hair.

"As soon as possible. I don't want you or the baby in any distress or danger," Izuku wanted to laugh but held his tongue. Distress or danger, he said. Dabi was the singular source of distress and danger in his life -- ironic.

Izuku winced as his baby kicked behind his ribs. His jelly bean was a fighter, it seemed. But it also meant he was strong and healthy. Although he hated the discomfort that came with being pregnant and swollen, he loved to feel his baby move and kick. It reminded him that they were both still alive.

"I'm going to call the doctor now. Sit tight, bunny. I'll be right back. Just shout if you need anything," Dabi kissed his lips softly and Izuku didn't fight. He never fought anymore.

As Dabi rushed out of the room, already dialing into his phone, Izuku relaxed back into the bed with a heavy sigh. Hissing through clenched teeth, he groaned at the sharp pains in his lower back. He had forgotten that Dabi didn't know he was pregnant already once taken. Izuku had almost forgotten as well. He was a good few weeks further along than Dabi thought.

"Just a bit longer, jelly," Izuku cooed and rubbed along the sore flesh of his midsection. He knew that he needed that cesarian as soon as possible. He was probably way closer to his due date than the doctor and Dabi expected.

He carefully threw his legs over the side of the bed and hoisted himself to his feet. Another trip to the bathroom was needed. He seemed to always have to relieve his bladder lately. Izuku carefully walked with one hand on the wall until he reached the restroom.

It didn't take long before Izuku had pulled off his sweatpants and carefully sat on the toilet. Standing to pee had become too much of a hassle on his swollen feet and sore back. After finishing, he grabbed the special wipes the doctor provided a few months back. His body had begun producing slick last month and the wipes were gentle on the skin as well as PH balanced to not cause any infections.

The freckled-male wiped himself clean and carefully stood back up with the help of the sink counter. Izuku turned to flush and froze when he noticed a strange color in the toilet. The Omega felt the blood drain from his face as he was hit with a sudden cramp that forced him to double over in pain.

"Agh!" He hissed and placed both hands on the sink to hold him up. This couldn't be happening. "D - Dabi!" He yelled with strained desperation in his voice. "Dabi!" He cried out in panic as the pain in his midsection doubled in force.

It didn't take long for the Alpha to reach his side with wide eyes. "Bunny, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Dabi worried over him, carefully placing his arms around the Omega to hold him up.

"Why is there blood in the toilet!?" Izuku gasped in pain while clenching his teeth. Dabi paused and looked over before cursing and jerking his phone from his pocket.

"Doctor, are you still there?" Dabi began talking into the phone while using his free arm to wrap around Izuku's torso and walked him back to the bedroom. "He's bleeding, we need you to get here now," Dabi growled and Izuku whined as the Alpha lowered him gently to the mattress before placing a kiss to his forehead and pulled his ear away from the phone.

"It's okay, bunny. Just breathe and relax. The doctor will be here soon," Dabi soothed before jerking the phone back to his ear.

"Oh, Gods," Izuku whimpered and pressed his hands to his belly. The greenette flinched and cried out as he felt the sporadic movements under his palms. "What's wrong? Dabi, what's wrong?" He asked while the Alpha talked into the phone. "Something is wrong!" Izuku shouted with panicked eyes. Dabi looked at him and growled into the phone.

"I don't care! Just get here and do the procedure now! My child and mate are in danger!" He growled and Izuku stared with wide eyes as the Alpha who was pacing the room. Another sharp pain shot down his spine and he screamed.

"Ahh! Please, no -- no, no, no!" Izuku changed and rubbed his stomach. He knew what was happening. His body was trying to birth his baby. He was a male Omega and wouldn't be able to successfully deliver naturally. He needed the doctor. Dabi hadn't know Izuku had been so far along. The Omega should have expected this to happen and prepared for it!

"Shh -- Bunny, it's going to be okay. The doctor will be here in a few minutes. He said for you to take deep breaths and stay lying down," Dabi explained and sat carefully on the edge of the bed. Izuku groaned as his jelly bean shifted and kicked. He was ready to come out and Izuku was already panicking.

"Get him out! Please, don't let him die!" Izuku begged as tears ran down his flushed face.

"I'm not going to let you or him die. Just hold on --" Dabi said but his eyes showed just how scared he was and Izuku knew this was serious. He began to take deep breaths and try to relax his body. It was hard to relax when he could feel his baby moving around in obvious distress but he tried -- he really tried.

Dabi was right though. The doctor showed up in record time and the Alpha began rushing around to help the man set up his supplies. Before Izuku could blink, he was stripped of his clothes and lying back on a portable medical table. Time seemed to slow down as the doctor placed a mask over his nose and mouth.

Izuku's eyes darted around frantically until Dabi grabbed his hand and leaned over into his line of vision. "Shh -- It's okay now, bunny. We're going to meet our baby soon," He cooed and kissed his sweaty forehead.

"Alright, Izuku. You're going to feel a pinch and then you shouldn't be able to feel anything," The doctor's deep voice came from the lower half of the cot and true to his words, he felt a sting before everything below his belly button went numb.

"D - Dabi," Izuku whimpered and clung to the man's hand tightly. He was scared. Scared that this would be the last moment he had alive -- or the last moment he felt his baby's kick. He didn't know what would happen to him after his jelly bean was born. But he didn't have time to focus on that right now.

"Okay, can you feel this?" The doctor asked but the freckled-male shook his head. He couldn't feel anything but Dabi's hand squeezing his own, and the erratic beating of his heart. "Good, good -- I'm going to start making the incision now. You shouldn't feel anything other than pressure. Please tell me if there is any pain," The doctor explained and Dabi brushed his damp curls out of his face.

"O - Okay," Izuku whispered and stared up at the Alpha who was watching the doctor's movements intensely.

There was an eerie stillness in the room --

a deep pressure in his midsection --

and then a shrill cry.

Izuku swore a million things ran through his mind the moment he heard his baby's cry filling the room. His heart broke and put itself back together in the span of a few seconds.

All he could do was stare blankly at the ceiling as tears poured down his cheeks. He couldn't bring himself to look and see his child.

Too many things were coursing through his mind. Dabi dropped his hand and Izuku feared the worst. His time was coming to an end now. He had fulfilled his purpose for the Alpha and would not be tossed aside. Dabi disappeared from his line of vision as voices blurred in the background.

His baby was born.

His little jelly bean was okay.

But for how long?

Had his baby been born a platinum blond like his father?

Was his innocent eyes the color of the ripest strawberries?

Izuku couldn't breathe as the sound of his son's crying died down in the background and all Izuku could do was pray. He felt dizzy as the world faded around him and he was left in the overwhelming fog of his own mind.

Was Dabi taking jelly bean away?

Were these few seconds going to be his baby's last moments of life?

Would Katsuki ever know the blessing of hearing his son's voice?

Did he fail at protecting his jelly bean?

The chatter in his mind was loud, obnoxious, and the worst type of torture. Worst than spending the last six months trapped with this monster. It was worse than being raped and forced to behave as if he liked being by the Alpha's side.

The chatter in his head that brought his every fear to life had been the absolute worst thing the Omega had ever experienced.

Izuku didn't know how long he stayed there on the medial cot, or where Dabi and his baby had gone. The chatter cluttered his mind to the point of pain.

His head throbbed and his heart ached. His hand mindlessly wandered to his stomach as if to caress the still-swollen flesh that protected and grew his baby for six months. But before he could feel along his skin, someone was pushing his hand away.

He wanted to fight it but was too tired. He wanted to caress his stomach and fell his little jelly bean one more time -- but the chatter told him the truth. His baby was gone.

Something was wrong and Dabi took his baby away. He couldn't do it after all. He couldn't protect his baby. He was a failure.

The chatter grew as he blinked a few tears from his eyes. The salty liquid dripped from the corners of his eyes but he couldn't bring himself to wipe them away. They blurred his vision and burned his eyes as he noticed a small movement in his peripherals.

The Alpha moved closer once more and Izuku blinked slowly, clearing his eyes just enough to see a small blue blanket in Dabi's arms. The greenette widened his eyes as he watched the male lower the bundle to his chest.

"He's beautiful, bunny. You did such a good job," Dabi praised softly before pressing a lingering kiss to the Omega's chapped lips.

Tired and confused, Izuku tilted his head down and gasped at the most beautiful set of viridescent gems and kelly green curls he had ever seen.

Tucked neatly inside the softest blue baby blanket was his jelly bean -- bright-eyed and babbling softly in his arms.

At first, there was a deep relief that washed over him.

His son was alive -- perfect -- and the most beautiful thing he had ever laid eyes on. His jelly bean was so small. His tiny plump lips were pursed as Izuku stared into his baby's wide eyes. To an outsider looking in, his son was a spitting image of Izuku.

But, of course, Izuku saw more.

The freckled-male studied his child's face religiously as a tired smile pulled at his lips. Jelly had Katsuki's nose and eyes. Granted, those eyes may not be the same fiery red as his father's. But the shape was the same, and Izuku sucked in a sharp breath as his heart squeezed at the familiarity.

He lifted a weak hand and began gently traced a light fingertip over his child's face. He was a perfect mix between Katsuki and himself. Baby's nose was sharp and thin like Katsuki's.

His son also possessed those defined high cheekbones that were almost identical to his father's. All Izuku could do was stare in awe at the life he and his beloved Katsuki had created together.

And just like that -- the chatter was silenced and replaced with the most amazing silence the Omega had ever experienced.

Just like that, he was okay -- Just like that, he was whole.
