It was early morning, the birds were singing, the sun was shining... But of course all good things must come to an end. Instead of being the bright happy morning I had hoped for when I woke, I was called up to Shining's office, and I had a feeling it wasn't for a good reason.

"Hello..? You called for me?" I said as I walked into the room, Singing had the back of his chair facing me with the lights turned down low. "Is, something wrong?" I asked while my back tensed. 'I don't like this.. '

"Miss Y/n, care to explain the pictures on my desk..?" Singing said in his normal booming voice. I tilted my head in confusion and quickly walked forward towards his desk. I immediately felt the color drain from my face while staring st the pictures.

"... I-" Before I could speak the door opened, with a cyan haired male peaking in.

"You called m-... Y/n?" Ai said in confusion before walking towards me. His gaze traveled to the pictures on the desk and he widened his eyes. "... Pictures of... Us?" He muttered.
The pictures were from multiple times we've been together, but the most convicting was the one of us kissing in the music room that night we agreed to be lovers.. There were even some of our date the day before..

"where did these come from..?" I asked slowly, trying to keep the fear from raising in myself.

"Miss Y/n, you've been seen.. " The president said in a dangerously low voice, sending shivers down my spine.

'I'm dead. I'm dead I'm dead I'm dead... ' I lowered my head in shame, knowing what was coming soon, I would be fired, and sent back home... "It's my fault, A-... Mikaze senpai just did what I wanted.. " I muttered.

"...AHAHAHAHAH. " Shining jumped up onto his desk and leaned down to me. "Ms L/n, I know very well you are with mister Mikaze...."

"Wait... What? You knew??" I tensed my shoulders up and blinked at him in utter astonishment.

"Indeed! I made sure you two came together! Hahahahah!"

" You what??" Ai butt in, an angry expresion crossing over his face. I noticed his hands clenched up lightly. "You can't possibly be serious... "

"I am! The professor knew the two of you together would do wonders and he was right. Just look at the songs you've been turning in mister mikaze, much more emotion, and plenty of love songs... " Shining jumped off his desk and back onto the chair, making it turn at least 50 times.

I caught a glimpse of Ai's expression, his cheeks were turning a light shade a pink while he looked away from me. 'Didn't want me to know what you've been writing huh..?' I smiled softly to myself before turning back to shining.
"Then why call me up here if you didn't plan to fire me?" I placed ny hands on the photos, spreading them all out. '... How did they even get some of these.. '

"You see Ms. L/n, this is still very bad news! If these pictures are released it could mean the end of your career!" I looked up at him in shock, feeling my heart begin to beat quickly.

"It's that dangerous if fans find out I'm dating Ai?" I looked to my p̶e̶r̶f̶e̶c̶t̶ boyfriend before returning my gaze to Shining.

"Indeed, you could receive much unwanted attention... Thankfully however! These photos were sent in with a note. " inside his palm was a small piece of paper that was folded up neatly. I silently took it from his hand before opening it.

" Dear Ms L/n
I know what you've been doing. The pictures are there to prove it. Don't worry. I have a copy of all of them. If you don't want them released, I have one simple request... Money. A lot of it. If you can arrange to send me around... 30 thousand? Then I'll pretend these photos never existed. Wait for my next letter for the date and time... You know how dangerous the press is, right?"

Shivers traveled down my spine as I read the last sentence. I felt my hands begin to tremble as I re-read the words on the paper over and over. "God... " I dropped the paper and covered my mouth with my hand. Ai quickly caught the paper and read it himself, before crumpling it up in his hands. "That jerk, " he growled while baring his clenched teeth. "I won't let him damage your reputation. "

"I'm afraid there isnt much we can do, Ms L/n, the police have been contacted and are on the case. But if they aren't able to find the culprit. We may be forced to give up the money... " he sighed. "And even that may not guarantee your privacy."

"Crap... " I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. "What should I do??"

Time skip

Silently, I laid on my bed, staring at my phone screen. My checks were stained with tears of frustation and fear. What would happen to me if I couldn't work any longer? Would I have to go back? Before that might not have been terrible, but now? I could never leave Ai..

I suddenly felt a familiar arm slip around my waist. "Ne, Y/n chan, it will be okay, The police are on the case. There's no way he'll get the chance to even send the next letter... "

"That's what we hope for. But what if that doesn't happen... What if he realizes we called the police and let's the pictures out. Or worse he does get the money? Ai, I'm scared..." I turned over to look at him, my eues staring right into his Cyan ones.

Ai frowned at me before slowly running his fingers through my hair. "It'll be okay... I won't let anything happen to you. " he hugged me to himself gently. "I promise.. "
