Anxiety was a night owl. He was always up late at night, taking away Thomas' anxiety and putting it on himself.

Princey had noticed that and decided to stay up late and comfort him. Unbeknownst by Anxiety, Princey knew that he wasn't as emo and rude as Anx tries to be.

It was 12:36 a.m. and Princey was wide awake. He heard soft crying from Anxiety's room and went to go check up on him. He opened the door to the Elmo's room and saw Anxiety curled in a ball on his bed crying.

Princey walked over to him and sat next to him. He placed a gentle hand on Anxiety's arm and tried to calm him down. When that didn't work, Princey decided to run his fingers through Anxiety's hair.

That seemed to work a little. The Prince thought about what else he could do. Then it hit him like a sack of potatoes.

He could sing to Anxiety.

"Stars shining bright tonight won't you grant this wish of mine? Oh, how I love the night time sky, and all the peace it gives," Princey sang in a quiet voice, almost like a lullaby. "I wish I could live amongst the stars, and guide my love to peace that he deserves."

Anxiety gave him a confused look but curled up next to Princey, his head in the Prince's lap. The Royal continued singing.

"Stars that shine bright tonight won't you grant this wish of mine? Let me live amongst the moon, and give the world a lullaby. I think fish I could sparkle and shine, amongst the things of the nigh. Peace will fall upon the world when I wish upon a star..." Princey could tell Anxiety had calmed down. The emo was drifting off to sleep, purring softly as Princey played with his hair.

"Stars that shine bright tonight please grant this wish of mine. Let me live amongst the night time sky. I wish I could fly at night, guide the children with my light. Send them hope where they belong, a place where they're surrounded by love...." Princey yawned. He laid down, pulling Anxiety so that the younger side was resting his head on Princey's chest.

"what price shall I pay for this wish? What do I have to do? I wish to be a star and shine bright upon a heart." He was starting to get sleepy. Whether it be the song or the comfort in Anxiety's room, he didn't know.

"Starlight that shines so bright. Wish I may, wish I might. Won't you grant my wish tonight? I wish I could sing with you, twinkle in the Navy blue." He slowly fell asleep. "When I wish upon a star... When I wish upon a star... When I wish upon a star...."

Both sides were fast asleep by the time Princey had finished. They were snuggling each other, smiling softly in their sleep.
