Remus looked up from cutting his wrist and saw Roman standing in the doorway. Behind the Prince was Deceit, tears making his eyes shine.

"R-Remus..?" Roman asked, cautiously walking towards his brother. "C-can you put the knife down..?"

Remus hesitated, gripping the knife tighter. Roman sat next to him and gently took the knife from the Duke, sliding it away from them. The Prince then pulled his younger twin into a hug, comforting the upset Side.

Deceit cautiously walked over to the pair, kneeling im from of Remus. "Hey Rem.. May I clean your arm..?" He asked with great gentleness. He summoned a first aid kit and gently took his boyfriends arm to clean it.

Remus couldn't help but sob as he was handled with love and care. The two comforted him as they let him get it all out.

"It's alright Remus, we're here for you.. " Roman murmured as the Duke slowly started to calm down. Remus nodded but didn't believe him.

He was a monster.

They shouldn't care about him. Yet they seemed to anyways.

After Deceit was dome bandaging and cleaning his arm, the snake joined the hug and summoned a blanket to wrap around the three of them.

"We'll protect you Remus, get some sleep." Deceit murmured, giving Roman a look.

*Did he tell you yet?*
*No, but I have an idea of what caused this*

"Patton.." They murmured in unison. Remus tensed up at the name but was already quickly falling asleep to the warmth and comfort.

*We'll raid Dukey's room for sharp objects first thing tomorrow, then we'll talk with Patton.*
*Alright. Virgil and Logan can watch over him while we discuss with Morality.*

The two nodded in agreement before yawning and getting into a more comfortable position on the floor before falling asleep with the Duke in their arms.
