•I have to admit, I completely forgot who's who in Storyshift, so... Please don't hate me for getting the characters completely wrong for the sides :/•

"What's up, Virgil here, and that's Patton. I don't do much, but he's super determined."

Virgil yawned as he started falling asleep at his station. Thomas poked him awake. Virgil groaned, "let me sleep kid!"

Patton, virgil's bro, came walking unto his station. "Virgil! Get up ya lazy bones!"

"Catching humans is part of a monsters life, im an exception for a few good reasons. I gotta let you know don't mess with my bro if he gets hurt by your hands I'll be there to make you pay for your stay. So how bout you just play nice?"

Thomas and Patton got along just fine. Then the glitchy corrupted voice wanted him to have some...fun. Their idea of fun, however, was to hurt Virgil by killing Patton. He hesitated at first but decided to do it later.

Virgil kept an eye on him. He never let Thomas near his brother without someone watching the two.

"Do you wanna stop and maybe get some grub? We could just chill, n' everything'll be good. If not, that's fine, just know that I'm here for ya. I'm gonna nap, come around if ya wanna."

Virgil had fallen asleep at his Anxiety Dog stand. Thomas chuckled and decided it wasn't worth waking him up, the poor guy needed sleep. Like, hello! Have you seen how much eye shadow he has to wear to cover up those bags under his eyes?

"You shoulda ran as fast as could manage. Once you leave here, Römische is gonna wreck ya. He's serious about catching all of you. It's a surprise he hasn't hunted you down."

Thomas ran as the dark Prince chased him with a iron sword. He tripped and fell just as he was near the bridge to Hotland. He saw Virgil at his station fast asleep and decided to just make a run for it across the bridge.

Römische chased him across the bridge and realized they were in Hotland. He began to pant as the heat from the lava below made his armour very difficult to withstand.

"I gotta let you know that we're in despair. I promised a certain person I wouldn't hurt humans even though we have to or were stuck here... But it's ok, cause I am way too lazy. Fighting you would be too much of a chore. So get going, before jazzy can spot ya. I know how it goes with keeping secrets..."

Virgil sighed as he went to just watching and hanging out with Thomas. He knew that if the other were to turn bad, he would be in a dill pickle.

It doesn't help that he started developing feelings for Thomas and wanted to keep him pure.

"I thought I told you that I would be watching. Covered in dust it's obvious you're killing. Tough glove in hand, it seems you're enjoying slaughtering all those that I call my friends."

Thomas flipped the table and decided to go on a genocide route. He was making his way through Snowdin, killing everyone in sight. Virgil watched helplessly while everyone died.

"Thought you had more common sense than that, kid? Hoping that you lose murderous intentions, cause you're getting close to fighting my brother and I don't wanna have to recorrect you.."

The brown eyed boy made his way towards the area where he would be fighting Patton. Virgil hoped that Thomas would give up on killing and spare Patton but he knew that wasn't going to happen. He sighed and let the game play out as it had always done.

"He's excited, God, I swear... Sometimes I wish he was a lot smarter, so he could see right through your facade. Cause I sure as hell do..."

Thomas chuckled as he remembered how much enthusiasm Patton has and how he was blind to the cruel nature of the world. He was getting closer to Patton.

"Collecting gold as you keep skating them all. With no remorse, you keep punching them to pulps... If you still choose to continue well just know you'll gave way worse than a bad time this go 'round."

Thomas picked up a few gold coins from a Snowdrake that he had just killed. Add that to the pile of cash in his pocket and he might have enough to trick Deceit into giving him some Printer Armour.

"There was a time when I thought I was like you. Hated the world and wanted to get revenge. Til I fell down here and saw how nice they all were. There were no problems down here until you came."

Thomas laughed in a very evil way. He killed yet another monster and smirked. He was even closer to Patton now and Virgil was getting worried.

"Knock knock, who's there? Well, it's sure not my laughter. Don't ya get it? What you're doing is worthless. You're wasting your time and everyone else's. Cutting it short until they've all been dusted."

Just a bit more further. Virgil started hyperventilating. He was going to witness his brother get murdered but he wasn't allowed to stop it...

"I'm so anxious, it's not fair... Why did I promise that'd id protect you? I can't just go and break a promise but what's really the cost?"

After everything he's done for him, Thomas betrayed Virgil and did exactly what Virgil said not to do. He watched as his brother tried to reason with the other.

"I think that maybe you should listen to him... He's always right, and can search for the bright side. Do his puzzles and maybe you would like 'em. 'Cause if you don't, I'm worried he won't last..."

Thomas brought the knife down and finished Patton off. Blood stained the snow as the body turned to dust. The only thing left was Patton's grey cat hoodie...
