Goodbyes are not forever

Patton held his husband's hand, hoping to give him a bit of strength to help fight the illness. Logan gave the usually punny man a weak smile before breaking into a coughing fit.

The heart monitor started going off and Patton panicked. He rushed to get a nurse or doctor, yelling at the top of his lungs for his husband to get medical treatment.

The doctor came and started taking care of Logan. Patton rushed to his husband's side once again but broke down when he saw the doc had to restart Logan's heart.

"No! No no no no! I can't lose you! Not again!" Patton sobbed. "I love you Logan!"

Goodbyes are not the end

A few weeks went by and Patton had locked himself in his room. He was beginning to look like a zombie; bags under his eyes, pale skin, low energy, and bloodshot eyes from crying.

He always wore Logan's tie, as to remind himself of his former husband. The young man grabbed a pencil and paper, then began to write. Tears streams down his cheeks as he wrote.

They simply mean we'll miss you

He placed the paper where he knew someone would find it, then went to the rooftop. It was Logan's favorite spot to stargaze and the two always had bonding moments there.

His eyes filled with tears as he looked up at the stars. "I'm sorry Logan, I can't live without you..."

He stepped off the edge and was enveloped in darkness. The impact killed him.
