🔮Cʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ Fɪᴠᴇ🔮
"Isn't it sad when you get hurt so much, you can finally say, "I'm used to it"."
Lethe was allowed out of the hospital - by both her foster parents and her doctor - a week after the accident.
Most of the nurses were sad, but happy for her, to see her go. She was one of their best patients, thanks to the fact that she was too shy to make too much noise.
Unfortunately, Lethe was on crutches.
Fortunately, Lethe had crutches.
Which was perfect for when her two friends started to tease her when she took too long to move from English to Science.
"Come on slowpoke," Aidan teased her.
Lethe's bandage on her arm rubbed against her skin uncomfortably as she tried to keep up with them, "Oh shut up," she hissed at him.
Aidan just seemed to want to piss the injured girl off, as he kept teasing her. This meant he was completely obvious to Lethe's hands griping her crutches, her knuckles going pale from the amount of pressure she was exerting.
Lethe glared at her friend, her crutch going flying and smashing into his leg, "Will you please shut up!"
Jo stifled his laughter as Aidan hopped around on one leg.
"Ow, my leg, my leg," The Grant boy whimpered.
Lethe's triumphant grin only made Jo laugh harder.
"Hey!" Aidan protested, glaring at him, "You're supposed to be on my side!"
Jo held his hands up in surrender, "Hey," he chuckled, "I wasn't the one who pissed off the injured girl with crutches."
"As the Hogwarts motto goes," Jo added, "Never tickle a sleeping dragon."
Lethe glared at her friend, "I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not."
Jo shrugged as Aidan grinned, "Someones in trouble," the Grant boy smirked at the other male.
"You're both in trouble," Lethe snapped at him, waving her crutch around threateningly, "Now hurry up and get to class before I kick your asses there with my crutch."
Jo and Aidan glanced at each other before bolting as Lethe chased after them on her crutches.

Quickstorm was at a loss at what to do now.
Trident had been her last chance, everyone else had slammed their doors in her faceplates before she could even ask for a mentorship.
Trident had taken her under his metaphorical wing after she had come to him, pleading and begging just for once chance.
Perhaps it was the determined yet lost look in her odd optics that convinced the mech to take her under his mentorship, or it was the fact that no one else would.
Either way, neither of the pair regretted the mentorship. Even if Quickstorm had to precautions to just get to the building that Trident worked (and lived) at.
Quickstorm twirled her digits as she sat on her berth in her tiny room.
The room was one of the last that the owner of the building had available for anybot, she was lucky to have even got this nice - even if it was small - room over one of the rooms that one could find down in the lower parts of Kaon.
It may cost less than one of the larger, higher up in the building room, but it was still quite expensive.
Quickstorm sighed as she calculated how much Shanix she had left that she could live off.
The results weren't good.
The lonely femme closed her optics in wariness, "Oh, Primus," she muttered.
A lone droplet of coolant slipped down her faceplates from her optics.

"Hey, Rosier!"
Lethe froze, nerves building in her chest.
"What happened?" Vince chuckled, "I wanna thank the one who did it."
Lethe didn't say anything, flinching as she was shoved back to the ground, her crutches being taken away from her.
Vince smirked as he crouched down to her level, "But, maybe I should add my own."
Lethe's eyes widened as Vince's arm when back, his hand forming a fist and sped towards her as she braced herself, her arms slowly rising to block the fist...
Only to find that nothing happened.
Lethe looked up, wide-eyed as Vince's goons gaped at the man in front of her.
Not that she could see it, but "Sam"'s glasses had fallen off at some point when he suddenly appeared.
His eyes narrowed furiously at Vince, whose fist had been caught in his own hand. An unpleasant look was smeared across "Sam"'s face as he stared down the bullies.
Vince's eyes widened in fear, even more so when some of his goons ran off with their tails in between their legs.
"W-who are y-you?" Vince stuttered out.
Amusement twitched in Lethe's chest, making the girl confused as she stared in complete shock.
"Sam"'s smirk almost made Vince piss himself. The much stronger male leaned closer so that his mouth was by the bully's ear and whispered, "Your worst nightmare."
Vince scrambled away from "Sam", his eyes wide with terror before somehow getting to his feet and sprinting off.
"Sam" laughed, rolling his eyes at the wimp before turn back to Lethe, "Need a hand?" He offered his hand for her to take.
Her azure blue eyes looked up at him, and unintentionally his breath caught in his throat as she smiled thankfully at him, her hand gently grabbing his, "Thanks," Lethe said, making sure to keep her weight off her broken leg as "Sam" hoisted her up.
"Sam" nodded, a smile twitching at his lips, "No problem."
The words slipped out before Lethe could stop them, "Do I know you from somewhere?"
Her cheeks reddened in embarrassment as "Sam" was startled, "What makes you say that?" He asked.
Lethe averted her azure eyes downward, "You're just... very familiar to me."
She didn't see it, but a soft smile appeared on "Sam"'s lips, "Perhaps we met long ago," he suggested, holding out her crutches for her to take, "In the street or something."
Lethe nodded, smiling her thanks for her crutches, "Makes sense," she said.
"Sam" grinned, "Would you like company?" He offered.
Lethe nodded without thinking, her lips instantly shaping the word, "Please."
