A Wag Wedding
Chapter Five: A Wag Wedding
"I can't believe you're getting married," Rosé said as she placed Marisol's veil on her head.
Marisol smiled.
"I can't either, but you know this could be you and Derrick," Marisol said.
Rosé blushed.
"It's been three years since you guys met at my birthday party, and you've been together for two years; I think he may propose soon," Marisol said.
"Who would have thought falling into a pool together would lead us to be a couple," Rosé said.
"Since it's been two years, I'll be honest; it was Johnny who pushed you two into the pool together," Marisol said, laughing.
Rosé gasped.
"I knew it," Rosé said.
There was a knock on the door. The door opens to reveal Marisol's father.
"It's time," He said.
Rosé hands Marisol her bouquet.
"Let's get you married," Rosé said as she grabbed her bouquet and headed downstairs.
Once Rosé reached the bottom of the stairs, Derrick walked up to her.
"You look so beautiful," Derrick said.
Rosé blushed.
"Thank you; you look so handsome," Rosé said as she fixed Derrick's tie.
"Let's go before I kiss you," Derrick said.
"Stop it; this lipstick will stain your lips," Rosé said.
The wedding planner walked up to them to let them know it was time for them to walk down the aisle.
"Oh, by the way, Johnny was the one who pushed us into the pool," Rosé told Derrick.
"Oh, I know he told me this morning," Derrick said.
Rosé shook her head.
Derrick extended his arm for Rosé to take, and they began their walk down the aisle.
As they walked down, Rosé couldn't help but imagine her wedding day and what she would wear and how many people they would invite to their wedding.
She wanted to look at Derrick so badly and say, hey, let's get married, but not everyone in the room knew that they were a couple.
Jennie and Lisa gave Rosé the thumbs up once Rosé and Derrick reached them.
Rosé winked at her friends before they reached the end of the aisle and separated to stand in their place.
The music changed, which signaled that Marisol was coming. Everton stood up as Marisol, and her father walked out.
Rosé watched as Johnny and Marisol locked eyes and their lips spread into huge smiles. They looked at each other lovingly, and Rosé teared up.
Marisol reached the end of the aisle, and her father gave her away to Johnny, and the ceremony started.
