Gulf's POV...............

So from now on it's me and Mew on the run, hiding and traveling around as if we are criminals to avoid getting caught by some secret dangerous organization, how bad my life could get after this?

I honestly don't care what happens to me anymore at this point but it's my fault that they found Mew so I have to help and protect him, I told my family nothing except for the fact I'm leaving Thailand not even telling them where I'm going, they wouldn't care either way, I'm sure they will disown me if they hear I have another supernatural power or maybe they will throw me in a mental hospital

We sneaked into my place first around 2 am getting clothes, my passport and other papers, I also sent an email to all my clients apologizing that I won't be able to finish their work and sent them all the work I did until that day before leaving.

Mew also took his clothes his papers and his family pictures, he also sent an email to his company that he will be resigning and to contact his brother for any other info, we stopped by our families' houses leaving our letters and went straight to the airport

We were wearing a disguise all this time till we got into the plane, everything was so rushed and I had no time to properly think, Elias was nice enough to stay with us, guide us and comfort us, he was doing his best to keep us safe and alive yet for me I was frightened of what's going to happen in the near future

Sooner or later we will come face to face with those hunters, the only thing I'm determined to do is to protect Mew who I got into this mess because of my stupid post online, I should have noticed how there was no single info about this phenomenon, I should have been more careful

"Gulf, I know you are blaming yourself but it's not your fault, I chose to come to Thailand and meet you, I chose to contact you, either way I would have died in 3 years if you didn't make that post" Mew said calming me

"I know, it's just I should have been extra careful and noticed things before posting, well it already happened, now we must focus on getting stronger and beating the hunters"

"and that's what are going to do in China"

"I don't understand how can you be calm and optimistic in those situations"

"cause I find no benefit in freaking out, I 'm aware that I must accept the reality and move on so I can create a better future for myself"

"you are weird but in a good way" he smiled

"I will take it as a compliment, you too should accept all this and focus on what coming from now on, let's face everything together Gulf, like I said we are sharing the same fate, let's work together for a better future" his words really affected me, I felt a bit calm accepting my current life

"we will, together" Mew always makes me feel wanted, being with him makes me believe that we will be fine and we will be together for a very long time, it's really amazing to have someone who can make you optimistic, even a little

As soon as we arrived, we were taken through the back door into a black car, Elias assured us that the driver is one of us, we drove for more than two hours till we reached a village where we walked for about 10 minutes to a the farthest house, an elderly couple welcomed us with a big smile

"welcome back Elias, you did great saving them"

"I promised I will do it, are the others here?"

"yes, they heard about our newcomers, they are all gathered in the main room" both me and Mew was speechless and kept following him, we got into a room, Elias opened a closet that had a secret door, behind it was stairs, then we walked through a tunnel

"it really feel like we are in a movie" Mew said looking around the dimly lighted tunnel reaching a double big door

"welcome to our group" Elias said opening the door, we found ourselves facing a group of different people, there was almost 10 person all staring at us, the room was so big and there was many doors on the other side

We both stood still looking around as the group started approaching us, they have different nationalities and ages, there was even a middle schooler which shocked me, Elias sat not far from us

"they are the ones I told you about, Gulf Kanawut, the owner of the post and Mew Suppasit his partner" he casually introduced us

"welcome to our base, I'm sure you have many questions and still confused about many things but you must know that this is the safest place for both of you" the elderly man who welcomed us said with a soft smile

"thank you for letting us stay here" Mew thanked them

"everyone here is a family I hope you can feel like you're home" the elderly woman said

"I'm grateful to be part of such amazing family, let's get along well from now on everyone" Mew said being friendly while I couldn't say anything just hiding behind him, a part of me felt embarrassed being the center of attention while another part was being careful

"we all have a common thing and the same goal so I'm sure we will get along" a man approached us shaking hands with Mew

"Elias told us many things yesterday but it still feels strange and hard to believe"

"I know, it took me a while to accept the truth myself, you look so tired from traveling, so you should rest for today, we will explain more to you tomorrow, we already prepared a room for both of you, you don't mind sharing one together right?"

"of course not, thanks a lot" the man led us to a room across from the big room we were at, I sat on my bed looking around

"I can't believe that our lives change so much in one night" I mumbled looking to my bag

"me neither, I mean I just finished unpacking and arranging my apt just a while ago and now I'm here in an underground room, unpacking again, at least we are surrounded by people like us who understand us and will help us"

"yeah, that the only good thing about this situation"

"come on you also should unpack your things, it's obvious we will be staying here for a while" we were called out for dinner, the elderly were generous preparing a feast as we all sat around the large table

"thank you" I said thanking the elderly woman who served me

"ah, we finally heard your voice" one of the group said surprising me

"Gulf is still in shock and he is also a bit embarrassed so take it easy on him please" Mew said as they all laughed and started sharing small talks, Mew was already being friendly with everyone, he quickly blended in which I find it hard since I never had friends nor anyone I was close to, Mew was my first closest person but I know I must change and move on

The next day, after breakfast, everyone gathered telling us about their stories, one of them is from Russia as well as his partner, they both were caught but Elias came in time and saved them fighting the hunters

Another one is also a hacker and came in contact with Elias who explained things to him and came here after searching and finding his partner, as for the middle schooler he is from here and was found by the elderly and brought here

I was more surprised to know that the elderly couple are the same as us and lived in this village for a long time hiding from the hunters, they got married and gave birth to a two normal children who would meet several times a year

They are also the one who found Elias who was traveling around and helped him settle here and create this base, the middle schooler is still searching for his partner but he is sure that he/she is from China too yet in another city that he still can't recognize

"Elias, you talked about us having another power after meeting our partners, what is it?" Mew asked as everyone went silent glancing to him

"you must felt it how your sight got upgraded after meeting right?"

"yes, I can feel what is he feeling when the sight starts"

"me too"

"the sight also bring another secondary power which is why doctors are interested in us, it's different for each one of us, as for me, my hearing ability got enhanced and I can hear all tiny sounds around a certain distance, I can even hear the walking of an ant, of course I can control when to activate it"

"as for me my powers allows me to put anyone I touch to sleep"

"I make anyone I touch freeze for an hour" each one revealed their powers surprising us but I noticed one thing

"all the powers are related to our five senses" I stated without noticing making everyone stare at me

"you're right, I didn't notice that, when the sight starts our five senses are linked with our partners, that's why one of the senses got enhanced" Elias said in astonishment

"how can we discover what our power is?" Mew asked

"with proper training, you will find out what is it in a week at most"

"then let's start the training, I want to get stronger and help finding others like us"

"me too, I want to start training now" my primary goal is to get stronger to keep Mew safe but I also would like to save those who are like us

"I can see you are both serious about this but aren't you scared our confused?"

"I'm afraid and still can't completely believe all this, superpowers are only known in movies but the sight itself is considered an abnormal thing to have so having another power is nothing at this point"

"I was ready to hear that we can control the five elements or smth like that" I said, Mew nodded agreeing while the rest was watching us stunned

"I'm glad it's going this smoothly with you two because honestly, we are planning on focusing on finding Lan's partner (middle schooler boy's name)" Elias said

"As soon as I find which city where my partner is, I hope you can help me finding her/him and bringing them here" Lan spoke asking nicely to help him

"of course we will help with anything, just focus on seeing famous restaurants or places to identify the city" Mew said, Lan nodded thanking him

"good, I'm glad we are understanding each other, we all should focus on training starting from now, Lan you also should train your body, your punches are still a little weak"

"please train me harder" I was amazed by how serious everyone looked preparing themselves for this training"

"Gulf, Mew, you two follow me, the first step to discover your power is to be at a completely silent place" we were led to another stair that led farther down to a dim lighted room, we sat down facing each other following Elias instructions

"the close presence of each other while being alone can help you focus and feel your sight even more, slowly it will lead you to see your own power hat will awaken, this may need a few days but you only have to focus and especially fully trust your partner"

"so it's like Yoga but we are focusing on our sight power right?"

"yes, I will leave you alone so take your time and slowly focus, don't give up and take it easy since it's your first time"

"may I know how you knew about this?" I asked

"one of the files I found while hacking mentioned a secondary power, I didn't pay much attention at first, then one day I felt so stressed and decided to meditate a little to calm down, instead I find myself remembering my partners and the sight power I had with her, I continued doing it a few times till one day I noticed that I was hearing a strange noises so I followed it till I found that I was hearing the sound of a kid's toy from a half kilometers away"

"so it was by accident"

"that's right, I started searching for more info about the secondary powers from the files I found and concluded that all of us have it and it's the only way that can help us defend ourselves and also get to the organization"

"thank you for everything Elias"

"let's all work together, don't give up and again trust each other" he said before leaving us

"I already trust you Gulf so I'm sure we will be able to find our powers sooner than a week"

"me too, you are the only one I trust, I have a good feeling about this" we both closed our eyes starting our yoga session

Honestly, my mind was flooded by memories of my life before and after I met Mew, how much I was lonely before being ignored by my family and how much I was welcomed by Mew, he brightened my life that's why I want to do my best to protect him, he is the one and only person I wish to be with for a very long times, to become closer friends and enjoy a long safe life together

I hope I get a good power that will help fulfilling my wish...
