Matt contemplates about how everything happened so fast, he had the girl of his dreams. How he treated her, looking back he did only love her.

"hi Matt you wanna watch the notebook with me?"
"sorry Aliza but i'm going to hang out with brooke"
Aliza never was the second choice but always was treated like so and she just wanted their friendship, the lovely boy she fell in love with slipped away completely.

"okay Matt see you later"
she waited for him to say bye but he left not saying a word.

Aliza couldn't help but presume that Matt didn't like her the way she liked him, she was fine with that however, a part of her wanted to be more than a second choice. more so of his priority.

"hi Matt can i tell you something?"
"Not now aliza, im going to go be with my girlfriend"
"How come you never have time for me? every since you've gotten with her, things haven't been the same"

"Aliza I know you like me, but I can't be yours okay? i know i liked you before but things have changed and im not the same anymore. so we can't be friends anymore because Brooke said so. And stop doing this to yourself...You are with Vinnie after all."

They danced in the rain together. They sung together. They watched movies together and all she wanted was his gift of love or friendship.

Matt regretted everything after he found out how Brooke cheated on him. He needed time and space, and with all the time, all he could think about was his last conversation with Aliza. He missed their late night calls and everything that came with it. He called every since but the calls ceased and the time got shorter only leaving both souls broken, the other was yearning for one another. Everything that came with losing her, came with great pain. He wanted his friend back most importantly, his love.

Aliza moving away with another love was almost a taunting of what they lost, feeling the tear between space only representing the end result of unrequited love. He wanted to go to her and say that maybe they weren't meant to be but the lie he would share among the two would only cause a loss of the already forgotten. He held his tongue when it came to speaking but when it came to Aliza, he wanted to say words he never had.

"words you never said chris."

Matt came to realize that his advice was a familiarity of what once occurred in his past life. He knew he didn't wanna lose Aliza, the hurt it caused losing a friend. he saw her as an friend but time revealed he loved her too late. she loved him too soon. After a while, her laugh no longer lingered in his mind. He let slip away the serene warmth he felt when he heard it as it was no longer in his reach.

"Matt are you okay baby?"
he looks at the girl he was thinking about and smiles.
"yeah I'm okay I was just thinking about everything"
"what is it you're thinking about?" she was asking him, knowing matt never opened up to anyone but her it wasn't new to her.
"I was thinking about our last conversation between us before you left. i never said it but im truly sorry aliza, I should've told you that before i never did and it really bothers me knowing that i left you in such a dark place all you wanted was our friendship but i never was there for you in the end."

"baby it's okay i forgive you, we were young then and the sun always finds its' shine again. we found our shine, look at us now. i thought we were never going to speak again, i just need you to understand that past time is not present matt what i cherish is us and our relationship."

Aliza was right, sun finds a shine again but what if the moon was his shine. Matt felt he didn't belong to anyone but aliza but his heart was on another planet, he was hoping they would collapse creating a new galaxy but for now he felt unsure.

"Aliza?? what if the universe doesn't have sunlight?"

"The world wouldn't be in place right now, the days would be dark but that's not how things can live, we need sunlight just like how a star needs light. the further it is the more likely it is to die out"

Her words reminded him of what once happened, it reminds her of what once was her reality. The present they lived in together was their star, he wanted it to last but the distant once shared between the two was still set in and he wanted to get close enough to her heart where they collide just as if a asteroid collided into jupiter.

"matt whatever you feel I'm here."
"i love you aliza"
she waited for those words and her heart melodiously lit up.
"I love you too matt"

He said those words not knowing what would happen next, he feared the worst and hoped for the best.
He knew if he lost her he would lose everything, he would lose everything they built along with every home that held purpose and memory. It was a great risk but he always felt the piece to complete him was her presence. She was the embodiment of an angel to him, she knew the words that would calm him and reassure him everything was okay.
